Called back to see what the problem is and the owner comes aggressively saying that he will not help us and walks out of house without any explanation or assistance. Spoke very rude and unprofessional, lacked communication skills, tried calling back to see why he had such an issue and has declined all calls. Excellent experience using this company. Called when my garage door would not open. They sent a technician to assess the problem immediately and after diagnosing the problem--motor needs replacing--arranged for the installation the next day. The price quoted for the motor seemed high but after comparing them to a different company--turned out to be a fair price. The installation was great as two well trained technicians came on time--actually early and were done in under one and one half hours and left my garage spotless. For the price they charged they could have included a light bulb so the unit would light up. I am not able to get on a ladder so therefore no illumination. read more

When you make an appointment for a service call and companies give you a "window for arrival" usually you expect to see them arriving AFTER the window time. Had a problem with my unit where the motor ran but the chain didn't move. Something was jammed. Technician came out and fixed it right away. I'm always concerned that the response is "you need a new unit" but the guy actually knew enough to make the fix and give me suggestions on handling potential future issues. 2nd time using Becker Garage. Called the company again for another issue with my garage door...he (Sam) figured quickly that it could've been a broom that got stuck under the door. (stupid me). He had to fix a wheel that popped out within 2 minutes. He was very nice about it and didn't assume immediately it was that. He came in time and assessed and repaired the issue quick...10 minutes or less. Sam also was very descriptive and explained everything that he was doing and about what could've happened and other things about garage doors (e.g. automatic garage door openers that are sold at retailer). Called Becker since I had used them few years ago when the company had Raynor name. They called first thing in the morning and set up the appointment same afternoon. The technician Sam came and explained the problem of broken spring. Sam was very professional and fixed the problem in about half an hour. Charged parts and labor and tax $179.. Wow, did I just get screwed....called for service because door was not working properly. ..technician came out and said problem was a loose wire (keep in mind they installed opener) and beams not lined up properly was secondary....I made appointment with Chris and was not told of any service fee to come out, however since opener was installed over a year I was charged $95 for a service call!!!! It took technician longer to write up my bill than to do the job...Don't worry I won't be calling again read more

Becker Garage Door Company has a staff that is responsive, friendly, efficient, and reasonable. I called around 4:00PM on Thursday afternoon. I explained my problem to Chris. Chris told me he could send someone to repair my garage door spring the next morning between 8:00AM - 9:00AM. I was pleasantly surprised. At 8:00AM one of Becker's trucks pulled up in front of my house. The technician's name was Sam. He looked at the door and verified my problem and told me the job would take about 30 to 45 minutes. At or around the noon hour last Friday April 24th I discovered that the torsion spring on my one car Liftmaster garage door had broken. In addition, a cable had snapped and the door was inoperable. After spending a few minutes on Youtube I quickly realized this repair was best done by a professional. I called Becker who had installed the garage door and lifter years ago under their previous name Raynor Garage Door. John answered the phone and he immediately gave me a fair estimate for the repair and an mutually agreed appointment date was set for the following Monday. A few minutes after we hung up John called back and said he would send someone over within the hour. His workers arrived within a half hour, replaced the spring and two cables in a professional manner at the agreed upon estimate.
