I hired another roofer to fix my leak because Beck Roofing is so good that they were not available to a few weeks. After the other roofer failed to solve my problem, a few weeks went by and Beck became available. This was the third roof leak that Beck resolved. I'll never use another roofing company! read more

Beck roofing did the repair of our roof when rain water went through our ceiling wall and floors. After the roof repair was done and before the start of our house fumigation (house fumigation crew) found out there's 1 broken tile and 1 missing tile. I immediately notified Brian and complained why our roof is not fully repaired/fixed as agreed upon. No one went up to the roof after the repair and we should haven't found out about the existing problem if not because of the fumigation crew who've discovered it. Brian sounded very unhappy and frustrated but immediately fixed the existing problem after how many days by himself. He's very professional and trustworthy. A very humble and noble man. May God Bless more people in his liking read more

Beck recently reroofed my neighbor's house and they left a big mess in my yard. They didn't give any warning or do anything to try to lessen the mess or even come over and offer to clean it up. Very unprofessional. read more

Heavy rain over the past few months caused water to leak into our home and garage. We're glad we reached out to Beck Roofing for help. Brian and his crew saved the day with high-quality repairs. They installed new flashing and shingles around our chimney, cleaned our gutters, and resealed the seams in our balcony roof. Brian is professional, arrives on time, and explains what needs to be done in clear terms. Thanks to Katherine as well for prompt communication. read more

Beck Roofing just replaced a steep 12:12 pitch roof at my church's 10,000sf sanctuary. After 40 years, the existing 3-tab asphalt comp shingles were starting to fall off during windy weather, so we decided it was time to replace it all. Charlie Beck met with me personally and advised on different things to consider and provided a bid for three types of shingle. We went with a 50 year triple laminate Landmark shingle that complements our exterior building colors very well. The company was booked out for months, but they finished the project several days ahead of schedule at a very reasonable price. Brian Beck did the scheduling, and served as our main contact for the project. He texted me updates and called by phone. We hired them to re-roof a separate 8,000sf section of our building with a tar-and-gravel roof about 10 years ago and it has performed flawlessly. The Beck family is honest and trust-worthy. It's no wonder they've been in business so long. read more

These guys did a fantastic job. When I got the bid, it wasn't the cheapest but now that the project is completed, it was worth every penny. This was the second roof I had done recently and I really wish I had them do my first roof. They are a family operating business and were pleasant to deal with. They treated my grandma Ardis with great respect and honesty that when the additional work needed was quoted, we were well prepared and ready to have it done. I can only recommend these guys so much, they did a free consultation which is a great use of time if you're thinking of getting your roof done! read more

I recently had evidence of a water leak. Brian thoroughly checked everything. His crew found needed repairs and inspected the whole tile roof to identify other areas of concern. Brian and his crew arrive on time, communicate well, are detailed and perform an exceptional job. You will receive outstanding and honest service. There is no better company to hire in the Bay Area than Beck Roofing. Thank you Brian, Catherine, and crew!! read more

Do not hire this company. 1. Poor attention to detail. 2. Communication average at best. I had little idea when people would be coming or when this nightmare would be over. 3. They sent 1 guy... 1 guy to install the roof. 4. This 1 guy was disorganized and unmotivated. 5. The job took 3 WEEKS... yes 3 WEEKS to complete 6. Put tar paper over an existing vent hole, with no repair to the wood. Just an open hole with tar paper over it. Had I not alerted Brian to this I firmly believe this unmotivated laborer would have put shingles over this hole. 7. Stucco does not match original. Now I need to finish this and match the color. 8. Just a BAD... BAD... BAD experience read more

Beck Roofing company is very professional. During shelter in place, we found it hard to find contractors to come out and take a look at a few items for our homes. Imagine buying your first home and needing help but getting turned away. Fortunately, that wasn't my experience with Beck Roofing. They quickly scheduled an appointment for a free estimate and had someone come out and check out the roof. No contact necessary. It was a 15 min process and after he updated me, I received an email later that day with an estimate. I had actually reached out to a few other roofing companies and was disappointed by one and unimpressed by another. With Beck, I know that once the shelter in place order is lifted I will be giving them a call. read more

My Customer experience with Beck Roofing Company I will rate 5 Stars X 2 or 3! Brian came over to provide an estimate for my missing roof shingles from the 02/09/2020 windstorm. Brian answered all of my questions, explained my options & provided my estimate in a short timeframe. Excellent & Personalized Customer Service! On the opposite end of the Customer Service experience: My Insurance Company as I needed detailed estimates for my Insurance claim. They were ready to close my claim asap & provided underpayments for both my fence & roof repairs based on their field Inspectors guesstimates? read more

I called and asked to speak to Charlie several times. I only received phone calls from Brian. Your response about my not giving you an opportunity to talk to you is a complete falsehood. Believe me I wanted to use Beck's roofing, but your prices were outrageous and Brian was not interested in talking to me. He shut off all communications. Neither Charlie or you ever tried to reach me on either one of my phones. Your company now makes me mad! You have my phone number, try calling me! read more

Excellent service nice friendly team professional and efficient would highly recommend

Brian and his crew were very professional. The two guys that did the work were very nice, and they did a very good job. I liked the way they installed the flashing on our patio roof. They also painted it to match the shingles. They also secured the corner fascia boards really well. After they were done I saw some nails on the fascia that needed to be hammered in, so they went and got their ladder and did the job without even getting upset. I will probably think about using them when it's time to get my roof done, when I can afford it. Larry Brinlee read more

Very responsive and got the problem fixed. We did not compare quotes so not sure if they were more expensive than others.

We just had 3 skylights replaced with Brian and his team. Brian and his staff are a pleasure to do business with. I wanted to also replace our gutters but Brian was very open and honest about why it wasn't necessary- the other companies that we got quotes from just threw out a number to replace them. Brian took my husband around our house and explained to him where there were some trouble spots but we didnt' need to completely replace them. 100% appreciated his honesty. Brian and his team are very responsive and acted quickly to install the sky lights once they got them in. If we ever need to replace our roof I am going to Brian and team first. read more

We got several estimates in the Hayward area, when the roof over part of our house started leaking. When Charlie came out to do our estimate, I think he was the third person. He identified the problem and explained the process of replacing that part of our roof. He wasn't trying to upsell us or smooth talk. He explained everything very well. The written estimate was professional and offered a great break down of charges. We selected Beck based on professionalism and a sense of honesty, over others who might have left a rough estimate on a business card and didn't bother to explain things. When Beck did the work, they were very professional and everyone was friendly. They did a fantastic job on our roof and were super friendly, even after the job was done. I can't recommend these guys highly enough! read more

Another business that gets 5 stars based on HONESTY! We were told that we would need a new roof in about 2 years when we bought our house in Castro Valley. After about 2 years, we called around and had 4 different roofing companies come over, inspect the roof, and give us an estimate. Every company, except Beck's, gave us estimates on completely re-roofing our house. The Beck's guy did an inspection, told me straight up that we didn't need a new roof yet, and that our's would hold up for another 3 years. He just did a few quick fixes on our current roof and that was it. Professionalism, honesty, and integrity. That's where I'll be putting my money when those 3 years are up and I need a new roof!! read more

Honest & professional. Didn't try to pad the bill like I feel another company did just to make the visit worth their time. No one wants to do small jobs but if I ever need a roof replaced I would call the honest company that came out & fixed my leak like Beck. Thank you. read more

We utilized Beck Roofing's services for our commercial roofing needs and were very pleased with the entire experience and the outcome. A stressful leak was promptly assessed and repaired and though we hope we have no other roof issues any time soon, we know who to call if we do! What a relief to finally get a new roof after thirty years! Bryan Beck and staff were very professional, wore masks, and worked and spoke quietly without disturbing the neighbors. Beck Roofing took care of the city permit and inspection. I had no worries during the entire process. They left the place clean and debris-free. I am confident moving forward, that my home will be warm, cozy & cool while energy bill will be much lower. Thank you, Beck Roofing. I highly recommend your company. read more

After doing a lot of online research, I contacted Beck Roofing for an estimate on 1) repairing an area of our roof that was leaking and (2) estimate to replace the whole roof. After receiving the estimates, I chose to have the entire roof replaced. Brian delivered a story-board that had shingle and gutter samples. We picked what we wanted and placed the order. We had to wait a few weeks for work to start due to rain, but afterwards, when there was a week of sunshine, we agreed to let the work begin. There was a gaggle of men that came out for the 'demolition' of the old roof. It was a sight to see! My spouse and I watched them take off the old roofing material in no time and at the same time, get the new shingles on the rooftop for the next step. A day or two later, one guy come over to begin shingling the roof, but before he started that project, we asked that they replace any rotting, rotten boards, which he did. It cost extra, which I expected; not a problem. I thought there would be at least 2 - 3 persons working on the project and it took a tad longer than I expected. The guy that did the work was very nice and worked all day. He did such a good job, I didn't mind not having extra workers. The only delta I have: I asked Brian for a written schedule of events with proposed timelines. Instead, he would text me with a quick note. I am a linear person and when I ask specifically for something that is what I want. The roof looks good. It has rained several times since the installation and we are satisfied with the work. Beck Roofing is a solid family business. I checked with the BBB and the state for their license; they had no claims or adjustments made against them and to me, that means I got a fair deal. I highly recommend Beck Roofing because they provide actual roof samples and a color pallet for the guttering. They mailed us two very nice cards, hand-signed (not digitized) signatures, thanking us for our business. It has been my experience that almost no company or business does that any longer. They are professional, a family business and have a great crew of workers. read more

After our last rain I found that I had a roof that was leaking. Being that it was over 30 yrs old I felt that I needed to replace it. There are a lot of roofers out there but Beck Roofing came as promptly as possible to do an estimate that I considered fair and honest. Since they have been roofing for so long I decided to have them do the job. It took a while to get started as they have been busy. But the work took 5 days to completion. It was a lot of work, their crews were very polite and worked very hard. I was very pleased with how well they cleaned up each day. The total job cost a little more than the original quote because of some dry rot and suggestions to improve the overall quality and longevity of the job. I am very pleased with the quality of their work and would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone else. During the final inspection the inspector was impressed with the quality of their work! read more

We had a persistent leak in our detached garage for over a decade that we paid a handyman and another roofer to "fix" the problem. Each of them made the problem progressively worse. Once I saw the extent of the wood rot damage in the garage my wife took action and called Beck's. Bryan came out and gave us a quote to replace the roof. When it was outside our budget, Bryan happily gave us a quote within our budget to reconstruct the portion of the roof where the roof was leaking. It took sometime for them to schedule the small job, but when the crew came out they were very professional showing me the reason that the roof leaked (due to the drain scupper being constructed incorrectly originally) and cleaned up their mess. The crew happily tested the repaired roof by flooding the roof with water, but we waited with baited breath until we go a good rain storm. Where their used to be a waterfall in our garage during rain is now dry as a bone. We recommend Beck's without exception and that is saying something since I manage contractor's for a living and I seldom make a unrestricted recommendation. read more

Honest family owned business that does dependable and quality work. I have used them for over five years for different repairs on a rental property and have recommended to other friends on numerous occasions. When the time comes to replace my roof, I know for sure I will be calling Brian again! read more

I would highly recommend Beck Roofing Company. I was very impressed by the professionalism of Brian. He answered all my questions and educated me on roofing specifics. Brian is an honest man and told the truth when I asked for a shingle roof. He said his company could not stand behind that design as my roof is not a sloped roof and it would end up with water damage in the long run. I immediately trusted him for telling me not what I wanted to hear - but the truth, and it gave me the confidence to make one of the biggest single purchases one makes in a lifetime. The crew was the hardest group of guys I have ever seen - they were very courteous, punctual, paid thorough attention to detail and cleaned up every single day. They scraped away the old roof which was rock and replaced it with a beautiful new roof. They replaced the entire fascia around the house with new wood and even replaced several boards that I didn't know were rotted. I am so proud of the end results - looks fabulous! I am usually nervous working with new companies but I never felt that way with Brian. You just get a good feeling about him and his guys. I really appreciated how they went the extra mile by reattaching my cable wire across the front of my house so that it is invisible - it looks better than when it was installed! Beck Roofing is one of the most professional companies I have ever worked with. I am so appreciative of their work and the results. I am delighted I chose this company and would recommend them highly to anyone in need of a new roof installed to the highest standards. My roof looks better than I ever expected and makes my house look even better. Already received several compliments from the neighbors! read more

We found Beck Roofing to be reliable and very easy to work with. Their quote was very reasonable. We had visible dry rot on some of the exposed beams, and Brian Beck pointed out that this could mean that his original quote might have to be adjusted up. He kept us well informed throughout the process, and we feel went above and beyond to make sure that we were kept up to date with what was found when the old roof was lifted. The job started with lots of folks (ripping up the old shingles) and then went down to one roofer who did an exceptional job. The new roof looks amazing! We would be willing to recommend Beck to anyone wanting a new roof, dry rot or not! read more

Beck roofing just finished my roof. It is a very old house with a challenging roof. They did a great job . Left the jobsite clean every day. Two guys worked very hard . With all the crows pecking at our roof, and a few shingles falling to the ground, we decided it was time for a roof inspection. We had two companies come out to give us an estimate, and both came in suggesting the same repairs at the same price. I chose Beck based on their excellent customer service. They were very friendly, returned my phone calls promptly, and came when they said they would. Given that I did not climb up onto the roof myself either before or after, I can't say for sure that they did what they said, but I can say that after two months of a lot of heavy winter rain, we have no sign of any leaks. I would definitely recommend this roofing company. read more

I highly recommend Beck Roofing. We needed a new roof after 22 years. They came out to the house, inspected, showed me a wide range of types of roofing. I have a old house that needed a lot of repairs to the wood framing under the roofing material.Beck removed the old roof and made the repairs at very fair price. Also while putting on the new roof they they took care of other problems I had like birds nesting under eve over hangs ,better flashing, etc .The details that I never thought about they just made wright. When they had finished my new roof looked great and the area around the house was cleaned up. I could have had a roof put on for a little less money by other contractors but the extra money was more then well worth it to get the professional care that I received. I also had Gutters replaced at the same time and Beck subcontracted that out for me. Although the gutters turned out looking fine, there was some water flow issues that I asked to have corrected.Beck had them corrected with in the week. read more
