The template guy, Javek, did an incredibly thorough job and taught me so much about what it takes to ensure proper counter care and installation. The installation team was fast and efficient. Overall, it took me 2 weeks from start to finish - from picking the stone to installation. I had the BEST experience here and I was feeling wary at first because of the previous reviews. However, I decided to go with GKB and am so glad I did. In detail, here's why I highly recommend GKB for your counters: 1) Yoselin was so attentive. I would email and call her with a million questions and she always took the time to carefully answer each one. I had her on the phone for 45 min at times and she was never impatient. I felt secure in my transaction because I had Yoselin on my side and I knew she was 100% dedicated to making sure I was happy. 2) Javek is the most knowledgeable template maker you will ever meet. He came and spent 2 hours making a custom template for wood boards. Other companies bring pieces of cardboard and guesstimate. Not Javek. This guy is responsible and exact. 3) Installation team came and had all the pieces installed in 1.5 hours. They were on time and very respectful. 4) The quotes were spot on. No hidden fees, no surprises. You can pay deposits with personal checks. Final payment needs to be in cash. 5) I had the opportunity to go in store and pick out the exact cut of the stone after my template was done. This is great - such flexibility! I literally had the opportunity to tell them which corner of the slab I wanted them to cut from and specify all the details. This process was also easy and pain free. 6) GKB has the largest selection of QUALITY slabs at the best price. I looked at 3-4 different slab vendors. Either the vendors were over pricing their stock or their slabs were uninspiring. The quartzite I ultimately chose was something I found ONLY at GKB. It was the "yes" moment I was waiting for. 7) I felt valued as a customer. They respected me and my time. At the end, I got the exact counters I wanted and they are beautiful. The Consentino show room in Manhattan was very helpful both for the samples, examples of installation and coincidentally, the day ai stopped by we were pleased that as they had a Stone Systems person there and he could give us more ideas of combinations we could do (we already had a Dekton on the kitchen island and wanted to differentiate the dining room space. We ultimately went with their suggestion and could not be happier. The measurement and installation was flawless - the piece in our dining room looks like stone while having the benefits of Dekton as a surface. Their price was also reasonable, installation on time and the tech we worked with was punctual, detailed oriented, resulting in outstanding work.

I showed Jillian a picture of exactly what I wanted. It took 6 weeks for manufacturing. Shower doors were installed on December 26, 2025 with a rounded header. Jillian advised that the manufacturer did not make a square header. Well, that should have been said during the 6 weeks for manufacturing. My order clearly states square header. I am still waiting for a resolution. I paid $1,565.00 for a specific type of shower door header. You can come and take them back and replace them with the correct one. I have not used them at all. Me and my husband have called and left numerous messages. Jillian has not returned any calls. The rails and all my hardware are square and at that cost, I expect what I ordered. My concept for the backsplash was not exactly conventional, but tile master Mike was willing to help me figure out how to pull it off. Mike is also a master plumber, and Joe a master electrician, so it's one stop shopping: They take care of everything. The work area was neatly sectioned off with plastic, so no dust got into the rest of my living space. Pro Bros broke all the stereotypes of contractors who don't communicate, don't show up, etc. The lines of communication were always open, they showed up when promised, cleaned up after themselves, and got the job done in the agreed-upon time frame.
