I must have spent 30 minutes trying to guess where they kept them. Finally (ahem, I am a male) I asked for directions. The guy I asked, took one look at the hinge I needed (I had a sample) and he sent me here. I walked in, was immediately helped by the counter man. He looked at my sample, said he would check stock and I amused myself walking through a fantasy land of beautifully displayed home goods. My savior came back in a few minutes with a bag of the hinges I needed. The price was about half of a similar hinge at the big depot. Wow! Before you remodel a kitchen or bath, stop in here for inspiration, advice and a world class shopping experience. An example of a shop staffed with professional, helpful and sharp people. When I went to return it I found out there is a 25% restocking fee and a chance I would only receive a store credit. I tried to buy local and American but they sure make it hard. If you do end up here, keep all the boxes...if you don't have them, they will not accept the return. Again, wanted to support them but not being forthcoming with the restocking fee is underhanded. We hired Tristate Stone and Tile for a custom sink and countertop install. While the final sink…read moreitself turned out beautiful, the overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. As others have stated, they aren't very customer service focused with emails and phone calls left unanswered for days and weeks. Communication was poor from the start, with very little sense of urgency. Their installers broke our medicine cabinet during installation -- then blamed us and our contractor, saying it shouldn't have been installed yet. This was never communicated beforehand, and we had made it clear they would be responsible for any damage. While they eventually agreed to cover the cost, we had to chase them for weeks to get reimbursed. They also removed the doors from our vanity cabinet and lost the hinge screws, which caused further unnecessary delays. The sink arrived unfinished, with glue all over the inside of the custom basin. We were empathetic to the fact that they're short-staffed, but the delays dragged our project out by months. To their credit, they were honest and ultimately made good on everything -- but only after persistent follow-up. If you choose to work with them, be ready to stay on top of every detail yourself.

While we have had good experiences with Doug's Rug before, our most recent installation has been…read morenothing but frustrating. The caret pad we specified and were quoted was replaced with a lower grade pad with a less comprehensive warranty. Within 3 months of installation the seams are showing and edges of the carpet that interface with other flooring are failing. We have called multiple times to have Doug's come out to inspect and repair. They do not return calls and when we do reach them they give vague promises to schedule a visit. Over 5 months later nothing. This is in stark contrast to the irritating persistence of the woman who runs the showroom , schedules and collects payment. In our opinion, she is unrelenting and irritating when collecting money during the deposit and installation, and unreachable when there is a problem. After multiple broken promises to fix the issues we've experienced, we recently visited the showroom in Flanders. The state of the store says everything. It is a catastrophe. Messy, unwelcoming and dirty with the woman mentioned before ensconced at a messy desk in the rear not even deigning to greet a customer walking through the front door, but rather staring with an irritated "why are you bothering me" look until we engaged her. Even the face to face promise made to fix remains broken a month later. No follow up, nothing At this time we recommend avoiding Doug's Rugs at all costs. This is a huge disappointment as we strive to support small local businesses whenever we have a choice.

My carpenter measured a vanity space and countertop for my aunt's bathroom. The vanity was situated…read morein an alcove. My carpenter was busy over several months, almost ten, so I brought his measurements to Exclusive Marble & Granite Design, accompanied by my husband. Asking for marble I was shown a remnant that was a good size. I instructed that the marble be cut with a bullnose edge and specified that I wanted a centered sink. My husband and I repeated the instructions in the showroom and were told there would be no problem. Due to coming down with Covid, my husband, aunt and I delayed finishing up the order. When we felt better, we made an appointment for the technicians to come to measure the countertop themselves. An older man, the congenial owner, arrived with an aide but he forgot his measuring tape. His aide went to the van for it. The owner measured and they left. I was told a few days later by the saleswoman that he had forgotten to measure for the faucet that was only a year old and that I had to do so. I said I preferred that he return and do it properly but she said he would not return. If I had not given a large deposit I would have cancelled the order.I had to take photos of the faucet and send it to them. I also ordered a vanity from the son with the measurements from my carpenter. Well, the marble top came nicely trimmed but with an off-center hole for the sink. Moreover, the measurements for the faucet were predictably wrong so I had to buy a new one, and the vanity was three inches short. My husband refused to accept the delivery of the vanity without a call to the office. The truck driver left while he was calling. Valdo refused to take it back or to deliver it. We had to hire another carpenter to pick it up in the showroom at the extra expense of three hundred dollars. It doesn't fit properly so the carpenter had to insert a border of wood. It took over a month to get the wood from the showroom. The sink is off-center and the vanity has a gap between the wall now on one side because the technicians did not center the vanity properly. I have spoken to the owner, his son, and the saleswoman several times and they were absolutely terrible to deal with. I read so many good reviews before hiring them. This has been the worst and most stressful and expensive experience I have ever had with sales people and owners.

When the design was complete we were provided complete blueprints for our contractor and a digital rendering of the space that was very accurate to the final product. Delivery of the cabinets was not an issue and delivery staff was very professional and careful with moving the cabinets into our home.
