Asked for ombré French stiletto nails, what she did was NOT ombré it was streaks of white and pink it looked awful. I asked her to stop, after one nail, and just do a classic French tip. She muttered something under her breath and cut my finger taking the acrylic off. She put pink acrylic on all of my fingers, I asked again for white tips, she told me that's later. I asked about 18 times for white tips. She gave me glitter tips. I told her no, I wanted white, she got even more mad saying I didn't tell her that. I did want glitter on the PINK part of my nail only. She argued with me over what glitter to use. She didn't like the color I picked. I would have walked out but I had a special event the next night and didn't have time to get my nails fixed after this. I ended up with jagged, rough, bumpy nails that look unfinished and something you'd get at a beauty college. Her attitude was disgusting. I don't recommend anyone go here. read more

They did have 4 workers but they all had someone then 4 walked in for pedis. They started all of them before me after I had already waited a half hour. I almost walked out but a man took me. I've gone to this salon many times and have had great pedicures. The main reason I get pedicures is for the foot and leg massage and I tip well for great service. I went today and had a man provide a pedicure to me. I don't know his name. I said good morning to him as it was so awkward when he didn't even greet me. When he was using the rough pumice sponge on my toe, he did it so hard that he made the skin on the side of my toe bleed, he got so carried away. I said, "OW!" and pulled away and he didn't apologize. My toe still burns and has a cut from it. He didn't even massage my feet and barely massaged my legs. Overall a very disappointing pedicure. I'll return but will ask for someone else if I see him again. I don't even know why I left him the small tip that I did. I should have just pointed to my bleeding, raw toe and said, "sorry, but no tip". read more

Every single nail was crooked and I had asked for dark grey color, for a wedding I was in whose colors were grey and turquoise, and they painted my nails dark purple. Also were rough with my nails and hands, three of my fingers started to bleed. I was super embarrassed when people commented on them because everyone else said they looked like shit also. Ended up ripping them off because I didn't want to deal with them anymore. The lady doing my nails was arguing with another employee and barely paid any attention to wtf she was doing with my nails. I went to Bebee for a manicure/powder dip on average once a month for close to a year. At first l was happy but as time passed the way l was treated began to go down. Once it started to decline it snowballed. The last time l went in I had an appointment that was made over the phone earlier in the day. When l arrived l was told that l would have to return the next day because they were too busy! I was dumbfounded. It was outrageous! No apology. Nothing except odd looks; made me feel about an inch high. Unfortunately it wasnt surprising because as l said the way l was treated there had been on the decline for awhile. The quality had also gone down but it had been very good which was the reason l continued to go there as long as l did. I always had the same technician, Katrina, who had been great at first but she started doing everything really fast. Often l got the sense that she couldnt get me out of there fast enough. Whenever I arrived whether l had an appointment or l walked in I was given next to no time to choose a color. If l changed my mind before the color was applied Katrina chastised me as if l were a difficult child! I went in early a couple of times so l could look at the color samples long enough to make a decision but the same impatience was shown! Katrina began asking very personal questions too which tends to happen in salons especially once youve become a 'regular' but those questions went from getting too personal to making me the butt of their jokes. It felt abusive and passive/aggressive. It got so l dreaded walking into their shop. They teased me about my "love life", made remarks about my clothing, etc...and all plenty loud enough for whoever else was there to hear. It is sort of bewildering anyone would conduct a service type business in such a way but their doors are still open. Go figure. I have gotten nice manicures there but not nice enough to tolerate being treated as if l am(a paying customer who tips)an imposition and a bother. I guess they don't need my money. Worst nail experience of my life. They are really unpleasant in there as if I was a bother for coming in. I asked for a full set of acrylics and the guy made them completely uneven to the other side of my hand. Everyone I showed agreed it was a terrible job. I feel like they rushed on my nails and I ended up just going home and spending the whole day trying to take them off. My normal place was booked so I thought I would try this place...wow. I have lots of pedis but never had to pull my foot away three times in horrible pain as she dug and clipped around my big toe. Then got to my little toe on the other foot, pulled away twice and yelled ouch. No apology, no eye contact, just kept going. Then had a manicure with gel polish and it is a mess. I was a regular customer every 3 or 4 weeks for over a year. When I first went there I was treated very nicely and had a regular manicurist. I went there one day and asked for him and he was gone. From then on I was treated very badly. I was always pressured to get a pedicure, if I did not get one I was pretty much chastised. Truthfully they give very nice pedicures and they lasted quite a while, especially in the fall and winter. I was happy with my nails but for some reason the owner did not like me, I do not know why. I was not demanding or rude. One time I did not have enough for a tip, the gentleman that did my nails was not happy. I had to go get change and return later. When I came back they asked me what I was doing back, I told him I brought him a tip, then he was nice and wished me a Happy Easter. This last time I went in to get a fill and went to pick out my color, the owner said "are you getting a pedicure?" I said, "not today". She proceeded to tell me to go shopping and come back in an hour and an half. They were not even busy. I would have waited, but it was just the vibe she gave, and one of the other girls said something to her when I came in, an I know it was something about me. So, I told her that this was the 3rd time that she has done this to me and I will not come back at 5:30. If you are not a doctor or lawyers wife beware of BeBe Nails. The massage chair didn't massage, the foot bath water was cold and the jet became unattached. Instead of fixing the jet, the girl turned it off without trying to reattach it, even when asked. I went today with a friend and we were pretty unimpressed. We didn't even ask for anything special, just regular old pedicures with solid color polishes without any art. I ended up with toenails filed into different shapes and different lengths. The massages were short and lackluster. The water wasn't even warm, and neither of our massage chairs worked appropriately (or at all). The techs were okay but didn't make much of an attempt to be friendly, and left us without any comment when they were done. We won't be returning. read more

It is clean, relaxing and professional we went for a ManiPedi, manicure pedicure, even though we were early they set us up in the pedicure station which included fully functional massage chair and the footbath they used a single use plastic liner which was awesome because nobody's else's feet touched it, The water was warm enough without being hot... the perfect temperature. They even offer an organic option for your pedicure, enough nail colors including gels that it would take you several years to wear all of them they also get new colors in; the colors were all super pretty in all kinds of different shades and sparkle types even metallics. They are fast and efficient although they do not ruin the relaxation mood. Everything is done with an ease, there is no tugging, pulling or twisting, you will not feel like your cuticles are being pushed into your finger brains, I've had other experiences, my comfort level never changed I was so comfortable I pretty much let her do whatever she wanted, that's trust and she deserves every bit of it unfortunately I do not remember her name but she is the youngest and wears glasses. I also tipped her better than the person in front of me she was so perfect she deserved every bit of it. When it came to my fingernails I'm a little bit more particular She once again gave me exactly what I wanted. The person I went with had Kelly as her manicurist I do believe she might also be an owner she is well did an amazing job and when she suggested that I get my eyebrows done they had formed enough trust that I let her do it and I must say my eyebrows look amazing!!, especially since one of them has a scar, you cannot see that scar nor the thinness that it creates if you do them wrong which is pretty darn epic, she was able to create perfect eyebrows with an imperfect situation. I highly recommend the Bebee nail salon make an appointment even though they except walkins they are quite busy; it's a well-deserved treat and for a tomboy like myself I felt very feminine afterwards definitely a wonderful change of pace! Today was my third visit to Bebees. Twenty years ago my wife talked me into a mani/pedi on a cruise we were on. I have gotten semi regular ones every since. Bebees is close to my new office so there is a convenience factor. But today I realized something that is actually insidious in the nail industry in general: gender discrimination. There are six people working there, but as a Man you are only eligible to see two: the two female employees. Maybe it is a cultural thing, I don't know. As I look back on the number of different nail salons in Redding that I have visited I realize that not once did any of the male staff provide my care. I remember in Beebees that two of the guy sat and watched TV rather than provide my care the last visit. They said: "She will be with you in a minute". I am also surprised that the predominately female patrons would allow this. Three walk ins had no problem basically crawling over the top of me to have their nails done while I sat there with my feet turning into prunes because they had been in the little whirlpool bath for 45 minutes. Had I been a woman I don't think they would have brushed me aside. It is an intimidating thing for a guy to go into a nail place to begin with. But I also see the children of these ladies there waiting for them to get their nails done. How would they feel if they knew their sons, or their husbands are only welcome there if their care is provided by a woman? It was my last visit to Beebees. I have 28 employees now and provide many gift certificates to them and to the people we care for. There will be no gift certificates to Beebees. Is gender discrimination even legal? I mean we can force a Christian Baker or a Christian Photographer to do gay weddings but God forbid we expect a male technician to take care of another guy. read more

By far one of the worst nail salons I've gone to. To start off they shared the same tools me and my friend, then switched to another woman next to me using the same gloves, switching back and fourth. My friend and I were getting pedicures and the water was barely even warm when I first put my feet in. I actually thought it was water from a previous customer.. After I finished getting my toes done I noticed they weren't done very well, they only did one coat of the color I wanted and then a thin topcoat. Also, my toes weren't evenly filed at all and the whole nails weren't even painted! I had worn boots to the salon and the woman noticed so I wouldn't mess up my toes and she gladly brought me the plastic shoes so I decided I'd tip since that was nice. However, not even 24 hours later, I noticed my big toe had almost COMPLETELY chipped off! There was no reason it should have besides poor quality, considering all I did was sit at home all day. I was furious, normally a pedicure lasts 1-2 months before it chips! I went back and nicely asked them to fix it and they did, but i will never go back to this salon again, it was my first and last experience with them! read more

My nails turned out okay. Basic French manicure. I had to argue with my technician for like a minute to fix my pinky nail. Except for to tell me where to put my hands, she never said a word to me. She talked to her coworkers loudly or mumbled to herself, and I'm not multi-lingual, so I was left out of all these conversations. It was really awkward. She was very rough with me, and burned an open wound on my finger with the polish remover. They also always pressure you to spend more money. The salon itself is sooooo depressing. It's very clear that no one gives a crap about cleaning or decorating it. I'm definitely not coming here again. Manicures should be fun. read more

They made her daughter wait so long to get nails done kept laughing and talking about us and then she asked for an ombré and they made her nails look soooooo bad! They were so rude to her about her not liking it then charged her over what they said they were going to charge her they also gel pained her daughters nails when she didn't asked them too and charged her for it and told her that she couldn't leave until she paid they were so rude I couldn't believe how rude they were. She was so upset and then they were so rude to me as well after I brought them business and said they couldn't do what I wanted because they didn't like it. I will never ever go here again ever! This place was a joke. Sat in the chair with feet in cold water for about 20 minutes. I had a pedicure and gel manicure. The job the women did seem to be ok till I left. The polish came off one nail within 1hour. By the end of my work day two more came off. I went back in the next day and had the three nails repaired. Again within 2 hours another nail chipped. I brought my mom in to get the after Thanksgiving pedicures we both deserved and I received sub-par service at best, being a cosmetologist myself, I experienced less than sanitary conditions and an even less professional staff. My mom's pedicure started 5 minutes before mine did, which was fine, until my heels weren't taken care of (which let's face it, is the whole point of the pedicure) then I watched both manicurists put excess product (that had already touched our skin) back into the jars they came from. HUGE state board no no!!! Thats how you transfer fungus, Also it's super gross. Then my pedicure ended... 10 minutes before my mom's did. My manicurist got up and hawked a few lugis into the trash in front of us (I wish I was kidding) and then curled up into one of the pedicure chairs and played on her phone until my mom was done and we finally left. The 5 star reviews on google are what brought us here, and on this less than acceptable experience I honestly don't know how they got them, let alone how they are still open with the infractions I experienced. Had a shellac manicure & toes painted yesterday. Honestly I could have painted my nails & toes better. Hardly did anything to my cuticles. I have gone here a couple times, but was not impressed. We went two days ago for a pedicure. My session lasted 15-20 minutes total and now today I am redoing my toes. My nails were not cut/filed evenly, they didn't take the dead skin from my heels and during the massage, the two technicians were talking so much that they would stop massaging to converse. When paying and explaining how poor our experience was, they did not offer any apologies or understanding. Absolutely worst pedicure ever.
