It almost looks like the actual print was scanned and screen printed onto my arm. If you're thinking about getting some work done, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Jessica as your artist. Honestly, all of the artists there had some great examples in their sample books, and I went with Jessica based on some paw prints she had done and posted to social media, but you probably can't go wrong with anyone there. The studio itself was clean and the rooms were private (or at least mine was, as we were the only ones in there). I plan on doing some more in the future, and I already know exactly who I'm going with then. Thanks again Jessica!

It's crazy, but as wonderful as it may be, Connor MacLeod was right when he said, " In the end there can be only one!" And that one shall be Vintage Voodoo Tattoo of Villa Park. They opened up circa 2019 located in the lower business level of shops directly beneath Josephine's. Upon entering the establishment you might feel as if you just entered the Twighlight Zone lol Vintage VooDoo is a treasure cove of antiques, magic and nostalgia that'll remind you of your childhood. From Ouija boards to shrunken heads, VVT is far beyond your average boring parlor. It's more of an experience. They have a magnificent roster of experienced talented artists and piercers who take pride in their craft. As far the shop rates go, just like anywhere else the prices will vary. But I will say this, for the quality of work you'll find with these artists, the price will fit the piece. Your time and money will not go to waste. Overall, I highly recommend this parlor. From the colorful personalities to the unique atmosphere, Vintage Voodoo is an excellent shop to frequent if ink is your thing. The only thing I would suggest is to book an appointment in advance. They do take walk-ins but they also get very busy at times. So getting penciled in on their calendar only works to your advantage.

Years ago my aunt from Australia came to visit and I never realized how nice and bright her lips…read morewere. I complimented her on the fullness and brightness of her lips, and that's when she stated to me that she had a lips tattooed.... Immediately after, I knew I would have to get mine tattoo/tinted because how good it looked. I was very hesitant on where to go because this is permanent, and its on my face.. FINALLY after looking for the right person, I found Robyn at Ink & Arch, and I am SO glad I did. Robyns work is so beyond what this review can describe. From the moment I walked into her studio I felt like I made the right decision. She took her time penciling out my lip line before she got started tattooing. The lining was clean and accurate, she checked in with me the whole time to make sure how I felt about it. She did great penciling out my lips so I trusted her to proceed. We looked at colors, which she has very many of and I chose a pinkish/light red color (mixed two colors together) After the tattoo processing began, I was nervous naturally and of course it hurt just a bit but this is all expected. Robyn checked on me throughout the whole appointment to make sure I was ok! Upon completion, Robyn pulled up a mirror to my lips, I was in complete shock-- I absolutely LOVED my lips, the lining was FLAWLESS. I honestly couldn't believe how great my lips looked. The best feeling is waking up in the morning and looking lively because of my lips. I have received tons of compliments on my lips, sometimes I want to play it off like its my natural lip but I cannot because that means I wouldn't be able to rave about Robyn work. If you have the slightest inclining that you want to do it, just book, she will not disappoint! Ps- PRIOR to my appointment with Robyn, I was planning on getting fillers after my lips healed from the tattoo. I no longer needed to do that because the color added so much fullness and boldness to my lips so I decided to skip out on the fillers. I am so happy with my decision!
