I promised you January 13th that I would write a review, so here it is ;) Malti was so kind and patient, it was my first Henna experience. I was in Chicago for my best friend's wedding, and Malti made sure to make everyone's night special with her talents. I work as a flight attendant, and now being back at work a few days later, I got so many compliments from people on the plane about how good my Henna looked. It was intricate, going from the top of my hand to the tips of my fingers, I've never seen anything like it before, and my only regret is I can't have visible tattoos at my job, or else I would ask to have this tattooed on my hand permanently. She actually did henna for mylanchi (henna) parties of a few girls I know. Everybody loved her, which is how I was recommended to her. So I hired her to do my bridal henna and I was in love! From the very beginning, Malti was so friendly, accommodating, and professional. She came to my house in the later evening so that I could get all the things on my to-do list done, be in my PJs, get my henna done and be worry free the rest of the night! Malti is someone who does henna not as a job, but as a passion, and that is very evident in her work. She took the time to get to know my proposal story (Christmas themed) and even incorporated it into the design of my henna. She first practiced the design on paper to ensure she got it right before staining my hands with the henna, which showed me her dedication to the work. She brought cones of various sizes to be able to draw thicker and thinner designs. She's very knowledgeable in the art of henna and had beautiful designs that she creates based on your likes and interests. After doing the henna, she put a lemon and sugar mix over the design so it stays moist longer and dries darker. She even left me some after she left so I could keep doing that to my hands. Malti is very easy to get alone with as she keep the conversation going while doing henna, and has great customer service. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a henna artist! Malti is highly professional. Price is reasonable and her work is excellent. As it was my first experience in the US, applying Mehandi, I was both excited and nervous. Malti assured about her organic mehandi . She was proactive and advised me to apply mehandi 2 days in advance so the colour comes out beautifully by the main event. She comforted me and only after understanding my requirements, she began the work. I was impressed that she kept customising the designs according to my needs. I was initially stressed out about the keeping up mehandi for long hours and avoiding water. However, when I woke up the next morning, I was super thrilled to see how the colour was coming out and how beautiful the designs were turning out to be. I was jumping all over the house!
