I've been waiting for my tattoo to heal before posting a review as the artist used a seal on it…read more(surgical bandage?) that I've never even heard of before and I was not sure how the healing process will go or what the final outcome would look like (that's just with any tattoo). My first impression of the shop, the artist, and my tattoo have not changed one bit. I'm super happy with the process from start to finish. I originally noticed a tattoo shop opened by my favorite Korean dive bar (dancen, shameless plug here, they're great, try the fire chicken and thank me later). So one day when I was early to my dinner date I walked in to check out the artists and shop. Vanessa's style and work caught my attention instantly and I asked to book an appointment with her. We briefly chatted and she told me she will email me some ideas for what I wanted and we would go from there. The whole process felt so easy and flowed so smoothly- she gave me a few times she was available, sent me the email and we agreed on the time and the design so easily! The shop is super clean and minimalistic with some really cute design pieces. It's very welcoming! Vanessa was ready for my appointment and it went smoothly and as pain free as a tattoo can be. She checked on me to see if I needed a break and was so easy to talk to. At the end of the appointment she put a clear bandage on it and told me to leave it on for a few days. I've never seen this before but it's quite amazing! Taking it off was a bit painful but my tattoo healed beautifully and it kept it clean and sanitary throughout the healing process. I think I finally found a tattoo place I'm going to stick with!

Since that time, we've had additions and, sadly, one family member has passed. Is it possible to be in love with a tattoo? If so, I truly am!

I've been to several shops over the years, and sat…read morein the chair with several artists, (I have close to 30 tattoos at this point) but this place is my favorite! Clean shop / friendly staff and Jake, the artist I've been working with since I stepped foot in the place has been AMAZING. He originally took me as a walk-in for my first piece with him, but since then I've done 4 additional pieces with him. Each time I reached out to him he was immediate to respond, and even sent draft(s) of what I had asked him for, in detail, fast - sometimes the same day. (I've worked with artist who are either too busy or too lazy to respond or provide drafts, or only hit you up when they need money, and it's not a good vibe) Jake is the opposite of that - every time I've sat in his chair he's given me precisely what I asked for and when I asked for a revision on one of the drafts he didn't make me feel like I was bothering him (again, if you've been getting tattoos for awhile you know this is so rare!) My most recent piece was a cover up tattoo of an older tattoo from a different artist I wasn't quite happy with... it turned out SO good that my own wife forgets that I even had a different tattoo there originally. I wish I had found Jake sooner, honestly. Highly recommend this shop and props to Jake for delivering Every. Single. Time. I plan on going back to him again and again.

DO NOT COME HERE.. My girlfriend and I have been getting…read moretattooed here for YEARS. And unfortunately that's done now. We will not come back here. It's very apparent that all the good artists leave. Ryan and Tanner were the only ones we'd get tattooed by.. always so kind and actually made original authentic work. Must be a reason why such a large shop has no one working there anymore. No one here anymore seems to talk to you like a person. Or have any stylistic flair. Last tattoo I got there, they just traced it from google with very shoddy linework. They talk to the clients like we have no idea what we are talking about. Why would I give you several hundred dollars to be condescended towards? I'll be going to Rocket Tattoo to get tattooed by Tanner from now on. All these reviews are replied with "we offer free touch ups" lol touchups in my experience are when there is a blemish in some shading that doesn't heal right... not when the lines are wobbly and off the stencil.. there is NO fixing that. Do not come here.

David and Bella were warm and welcoming, fun and friendly, and they made the whole day a delight. From responding to client text messages (they even texted me a map with hand-drawn instructions on how to access parking!) to offering brilliant conversation, they really take care of their clients. David's work has to be seen to be believed, and his stylistic range is all-encompassing. He really went to great lengths to make sure he captured exactly what I wanted, and I couldn't imagine a better result. Thank you, David and Bella! P.S. After reading the other review here, I have to add that the prices were very transparent, and the shop was upfront about all costs. I was charged the price we agreed on, and David even spent more time on my tattoo than scheduled, which he didn't charge me for. Check out their Google reviews: 5/5, perfect score.

He got his first ever piercing done here: a side nostril(he plans to switch to a hoop). I got my septum done here by Rosemary, and it healed up nicely! It did not hurt at all when she did it! Was completely unaware the needle went in even! Painless!!! I also got my belly button pierced here in February on Valentine's Day special, with Karen. Belly button also is healing up nicely! As they use high quality jewelry, and all the piercers here clearly know what they are doing! Planning to come back again for my birthday to get a lip piercing. Also in July planning on coming to get my second ever tattoo done with Mercy!!!

Whether it's your first or fiftieth tattoo, I HIGHLY recommend Anna. As for the shop itself, it is clean, calm, full of plants, and good music. Each artist has their own space that they keep clean and organized and they all seem to enjoy working in the same space.
