I don't know how I never reviewed this place other than I frequent their nearby location the most. I have come here in the past when I bought all of an item at the other location and needed more, lol. I'm really glad this is nearby. The store is smaller than it's sister location. However, they have everything the other location has. I ended up buying two packs of crochet hair to do my hair myself. The packs will say to use one but if you want your hair full you can buy two like I did. They had a very cute blue color and also pink but I stayed with jet black on the style that I picked. Of course other styles have purple, yellow, orange, red, blonde, brown and so on and so forth. I also bought some press on nails because I need my real nails to go stronger since I get them done too often. They don't last that long so I'm hoping I get a weeks worth out of them. I also purchased a few tubes of matte lipstick that I can't find anywhere else but always get compliments on the color. I will be back. read more

Disappointed they raised the price on their products so significantly. I was there just a month ago and the same wig I purchased then is now $20 more! It just felt unnecessary (like they're price gauging) even with the rising cost of everything, a $20 hike is crazy! Update: 8/21 Went here again to get something and once again; the music is the same. Manager I spoke to can't do anything about it but change the station. Said that the owner puts it on Spotify which is where the foul music derives from. Appalled and irritated to say the least. They carry the products I need but care NOTHING about customer service. Huge problem and shameful. It's atrocious and disgusting that they would play such music and not care to change it and keep it changed. I shouldn't have to wear earphones each time I patronize the place. Not to mention there is NO greeting when you enter. The workers are always busy doing something else. It's a big store and hard to get assistance when needed Ridiculous - if there was a "-0" I would've changed my rating. ------- The products here are good. Best wigs on this street. However, I was very offended today by the music played in the store. When I brought my concern to the associate there - black hair with blonde tips - she couldn't have appeared more uninterested. She clearly didn't care and even when I mentioned the fact that children are often in the store, she didn't care! I asked for the manager and was told she is on Maternity Leave. I was told that the songs are played form "Symphony" and that it's a playlist of the latest music. Not even, "omg I am so sorry, I will switch the song right now!" Nope. Didn't care. I'm not a frequent beauty supply goer, but this store is one of the best I've been to by far. The store is HUGE, so pretty much whatever you're looking to find is here. The organization is much appreciated as well. Everything is easy to find and well maintained. They do take credit cards but do not accept refunds. I also appreciated the social distancing precautions they've taken, which include designated standing spots in line and sanitizer at the register and entry/exit. read more

This place is wig heaven!!! Seriously any length, style, color, texture you want, they had it. It was massive. I could have been there for 3 hours and still not have gone through the wigs I liked. The staff was kind and helpful. They have a wide range of prices to suit every budget. I loved this place and will definitely be back. Only gripe is the distance. Please come to Pearland!!! I'm new to Houston, but had an awesome time exploring wigs, braid hair, lashes, Shea butters, and all sorts of beauty supplies. The best experience was the ability to try on wigs till my hearts content. I was able to decide on a new hair style and color. The service was great, and not bothersome. The large selection and service hours are wonderful. I would like to see more coupons or sales. The reward cards are a nice touch. I will definitley return. read more

First of all, if you're looking for a wig THIS IS THE PLACE!! They have soooo many wigs. Often times I look on YouTube for tutorials but can't find the wigs in the stores. I found the EXACT ONE here and I didn't even get through 25% of the wigs. They are everywhere! The service is also excellent. It's a little far for me, about a 30 minute drive, but I stocked up when I went. When I need more wigs I'll be back! read more

First I went to beauty empire and they didn't even acknowledge that I was in the store. It was junky and it was hard for me to find what I was looking for. I couldn't find anyone that looked willing to help me so I walked out. But I saw the beauty empire plus and took a chance here. They were so nice and greeted me. The lady at the register was so sweet and she told me about their rewards program. I'll definitely be returning to this location even though it's a little out of my way. read more

They have a no refund policy on all products. Store credit only. They sold me a hair steamer for $100 when these same steamers sale online for $50. I was not able to get my money back when I tried to return it (brand new still in original packaging) and I explained that it was half the price online. Awful way to do business and treat customers. I purchased over $100 worth of hair care products. I had two bottles of a leave in conditioner. Used one bottle and realized it did not work well for my hair. I tried to exchange the other bottle which was still brand new in original packaging, never opened with security tag still in tack. I was told that I was not able to return the product because it had been more than 3 days. Completely stupid! Dont waste your money supporting this business. Any other store would have allowed me to exchange the product because it had never even been opened. Please tell me what harm would have been cause by allowing me to select a different product of the same value??? None. But you just lost a customer because of an ignorant 3 day policy that makes no sense if the product being exchanged is still brand new. read more

I went to Beauty Empire Plus this afternoon, July 21,2019,about 4:30 pm to purchase hair products. I literally walked in, saw that Beauty Empire Plus did not have what was desired, turned around to walk out and was stopped by their Security Officer because as I approached the door the alarm went off. Note that when I walked in the alarm of course did not go off. The Security Officer was standing in the same spot as I walked in, but stopped me because the alarm went off. I never open my purse as I previous stated, walked to the aisle where the product would have been, saw that Beauty Empire Plus did not have what I was looking for, turned around to walk out, alarm went off, then the lady wanted me to open my purse making a statement it is policy. It was most embarrassing. Customers were looking, I asked why, the lady(clerk) stated she wanted to check my purse because of the alarm went off. I then informed her that the alarm did not go off when I walked in, I never open my purse and that their problem is not with me but the alarm. As requested I then open my purse which she looked in and her response was it was my Victoria Secret Spray that cause the problem. Remember that every item that was in my purse when I walked in was the same items when I was walking out. She stated it was policy. Policy is they have the right to search, if someone appears to be let say stealing or stealing, which was not this case. This is a warning to everyone that shop there, be aware, bad business and you should be aware the next time it could be you. Never shop there again. read more

Lots of choices!! Was able to find the wig I wanted by the picture I showed her. The only thing I didn't like and bothered me was they write down your credit card number. An employee can easily steal that list and use it to their advantage or add extra charges to your card and cash out at the end of the night. read more

Called to check to see if an item was in stock and price. I was told they do not give prices over the phone. When asked why they won't give me the price the lady said "I dunno it's just company policy". So I asked what the reason was for that policy and she said "honestly I have no idea that's just what they tell me to say". I don't live close to this business it's good distance away so I look at it like if a customer were to call my business asking me how much something is I would tell them because like myself they may be making sure it's within there budget to purchase it now or if they may have to wait. I've never called a business and been told they cannot give me a price or a quote. I call Sally and Ulta which a beauty supply stores and they give me prices without hesitation so this business just seems strange and sneaky. I'm not a fan and I haven't even walked in the store yet! Turned me off, I'll spend my money elsewhere or better yet just order online where they post their prices read more
