Shawna has years of experience, is so talented in her craft, and is wonderful to work with. She made me feel beautiful, the hair/make-up lasted through the day/night, and her work photographs beautifully (without it looking too cake-y IRL). Shawna absolutely nailed what I asked for. She made me feel like a more elegant, polished version of myself. She knew right away how to accentuate my features but still have a natural look. The touch up kit made it easy for me to fix my lip color in between photos. For my hair, Shawna did an amazing updo that I never would have been able to do myself! I gave her some creative freedom with the hairstyle and was so happy with the result. An updo is not easy with my hair because it's very thick and heavy, but somehow it stayed in place all night through lots of hugs and dancing. The lash extensions were done a couple days prior to the wedding. She had a few different options ranging from natural-looking to more dramatic. I loved that I didn't worry about sweating or crying off mascara or strip lashes during my wedding, and they looked beautiful! I was a lash newbie but Shawna gave me easy instructions on how to care for them. The process does take a couple hours if you're getting a full set, but it's absolutely worth it. So I went in and asked that they verify the balance before I get the service to make sure there was enough. So the Rep says oh there is $85.00 on the card, thats the exact amount for the service. Before I leave, can I get a receipt. Rep couldn't figure it out on the spot. So I told her to email it to me. I've attached the receipt that was sent to me once I left. It clearly shows there was still a credit of $15 left on the card. I am glad no tip was left by me. This was a simple but costly service it was a quick 35 min visit. Feeling scammed after leaving is not a good feeling.

I really appreciated the smooth communication all the way through - they were so kind and patient with all my questions and concerns. Anny and Andy are both very talented and precise. I was definitely nervous about the makeup piece since I basically don't wear much more than mascara, but Anny nailed it - I felt weightless and beautiful and most of all like MYSELF the entire day. It felt foreign and I would often feel quite uncomfortable. For my elopement ceremony last summer, I wanted to look like myself, except with better skin. I wanted to be comfortable with myself. Anny's portfolio was appealing to me, because it had a variety of looks, including the "natural look", the one I wanted. We had a super intimate ceremony over brunch. The venue was great, but didn't give us a lot of extra time to prepare. Anny and Andy came through! I will just say that by the end of my interactions with her I had given up. Every email she sent left me feeling more upset than the last, and I didn't want that kind of energy leading up to my wedding. Rather than seeking a fair resolution or any of my money back I chose to just pay her the remaining balance owed, take the services she was willing to give me, and then never talk to her again. To you, Kelli: I get that you deal with a lot of weddings and contracts all the time. But for me, this was my wedding. It was a very special day for me. And I wanted to be able to talk to you, as a real person and as the artist that you claim to be. Instead, I got a cold robot who quoted the contract at me every time I tried to have an open conversation about what I needed. It made me feel like we were at odds instead of being on the same team. There is a difference between being direct and being abrasive. You can be direct and still be friendly. In the end, when I told you I was upset and why, the attempt you made at having a warm, positive tone came across as insincere and condescending. Also, the fact that you didn't even check your own contract before mis-quoting it at me repeatedly added a whole new layer of confusion to our already frustrating communications. UPDATE: A day or two after I posted this review Kelli emailed me reminding me of a clause in my contract regarding reviews and asking me to take this review down. (Everything else that was said in her long email just solidly reinforced my previous experience of her.) I was aware of the clause and am not in breach of it, so will not be removing my review. It makes you wonder though, if there have been other poor reviews that went unposted due to that clause.

I live in Eugene, but went here (Feb-Oct 2022) because I thought I had to go to Portland for a good…read morePMUA (PMU artist). Megan did great with my brows, only went over them 2-3 times. Did go too far in on one side, but my new PMUA went over it with saline which pushed the ink out. She seems to need more training for eyeliner and lips as she went over mine 7+ times. I did want a more intense/dark look, but even after the 7th+ time, my eyeliner/lips only held ~70% of the ink. Pics are from after 1st/2nd time and least time (7th/8th?). I have a LOT of experience with body tattoos and I know everybody's body holds ink differently. After going to my new PMUA in W. Eugene, I realize that my face skin doesn't hold ink great, but it should not have taken this many times to get the ink to hold if using proper technique. It also risked scar tissue forming. She also tried to camouflage a few of my small scars, but they turned orange so my new PMUA had to saline remove them. Megan is such a kind, wonderful person, but I cannot recommend her for anything except brows until she gets further training. Good/dark PMU photo is from new PMUA who only went over eyeliner/lips ~4 times. Message me for the name. New PMUA is a former ICU RN and has a strong medical background.

I traveled for over 3 hours to come see her. I was so nervous, but she made me feel super at ease and took very good care to put so much time and effort into the prep process so I could see what they would look like before she began the Nanoblading process. I LOVE my eyebrows- they fit my face perfectly, and they look so natural! I love waking up and not having to draw in my eyebrows every morning! So worth it!
