My pedi session with her kicked off the usual polish removal, filling, etc. who turned out to be super patient, unhurried and smooth with her hands. For my regular, short-length nails, Lexie provided essential nail+cuticle care, lotion massage, a hot towel wrap and nail polish application. I'm not one to bitch about money when it comes to any of my beauty regimen- but the $50 for both my mani+pedi here- in this trendy side of Kingston is more than what I paid while living in White Plains. Plus theres no attention to detail and it's unkept. No don't go here unless you want your nails ruined. I went here to get my gel extensions removed with anywhere else they soak them in acetone and the gel will slide off. Here though the started with the acetone and after a minute the girl complain that they where taking to long so she busted out the drill. After about 5 minutes of drilling at my nail she said I was done there where still massive chunks of the gel left on my nails. I repeated that I didn't want any gel left. So she kept drilling at my nails until I started bleeding, she had drill through my natural nail. I told her she was done and I was leaving. Just typing this is so painful. Don't go here unless you plan on not having any nails left. read more

Excellent! I've been trying different nail salons since moving to the area. All so far have been ok and clean but I've finally found my go-to at Beauty Depot. I made an appointment for a mani-pedi which was easy to get. The place is super clean and doesn't have the clutter that a lot of nail salons have like Christmas decorations still hanging in July, plastic plants, etc. but I digress. The pedicure was great, with a longer foot massage than most places do these days. The woman did my mani-pedi also made sure my nails were even, another thing few places take the time to do anymore. I noticed that a lot of the clients were regulars, which indicates consistent good service. Mani-pedi was $45 which seems like a great price in this day and age. Also great selection of polish and well organized. Finally, I overheard one of the women giving a fill-in to a regular provide tips on how to make her nails last longer, requiring less frequent fill-ins. I really liked hearing this and appreciated no attempted upsells during my visit. I'll be back!! read more

I've been going to this salon for almost a year with no problems. I got a fill on a Sunday and by Tuesday, 3 of my nails on my right hand were lifting and chipping. By Wednesday my hand looked like it had gone through a shredder and my thumb on my left hand was lifting! This is the first nail salon that I have been to where my nails are done with quality and are long lasting. They are busy because of how awesome they are so you should call ahead of time and make an appt. I watched them care for a client on crutches, did her finger nails and toes in the pedicure chair so she would not have to move all around. I am a physical therapist so that was the cherry on top. It seems popular, i walked in and the place was full. The woman that helped me was able to squeeze me in for a quick pedi but not a mani so make your appointments! The tech did a pretty good job. The massage although quick, was great. My nails look fine. I was surprised however by the price, $25.00 for a simple pedicure. I expected prices to be a bit lower than in the city. I didn't see fresh sanitized tools being opened from a package like at other salons however they use a tub liner which is a plus. I trust/hope they are sanitizing tools between use. I am always looking for a great place to get a pedi. I have tried many in Kingston. This is my first visit to Beauty Depot. There are five pedi chairs and six mani chairs available. The service was efficient and simple. I was trimmed, legs massaged, and had my heels buffed. The paint job was nice. I'm not sure if they offer other pedi options but for a quick stop this worked. It was quite speedy and less meticulous, still I ended up being the same as what I paid last time. Although I was very happy when I got there for my appointment and didn't have to wait too long, the quality of the work didn't meet what any of the reviews had expressed. My two younger sisters had manicures. One have them came out really terrible, honestly could have done a better job at home myself... nail polish was left all over the skin. My own gel manicure came out pretty good with the exception of the designs, which don't really match on both hands. The price for the gel mani was great but for a regular mani it was pricy for a poor job. All in all I don't think we will be returning. read more

They recently opened in February 2015 and everything still looks brand new and the salon is very clean. We were staying in Woodstock and couldn't find a place there for an appointment so we drove to Kingston. They did a great job (their massage chairs were awesome) and they are reasonably priced.
