Elle, my current nail technician, is wonderful. She is kind, professional, gracious, and genuinely invested in giving her clients a positive experience. Unfortunately, the atmosphere created by the salon's owners frequently overshadows the quality of her work. During my most recent visit, a member of the owner's family yelled across the salon to ask how I would be paying. When I calmly explained that I did not appreciate being addressed across the room and found it unprofessional, she responded, "You're just so sensitive." I later attempted to give her a respectfully written note explaining that I did not want an argument and simply wanted to have a pleasant experience when receiving services. She repeatedly said, "Nope, I don't want to read your note," and walked away. This was not an isolated misunderstanding. It was the final incident in a pattern of dismissive and discourteous interactions I have experienced from members of the family operating the salon. Clients should be able to raise a reasonable concern without being embarrassed publicly, personally insulted, or denied even the basic courtesy of being heard. After years of patronage, I have decided that neither my relatives nor I will return. I deeply regret leaving Elle, whose service I would rate five stars, but excellent technical work cannot compensate for an environment in which customers are treated disrespectfully. A salon experience should include both quality service and basic professionalism. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience at Emil's.

I hope management takes this matter seriously, reviews its sanitation procedures, and ensures that proper infection-control practices are consistently followed to prevent other customers from having a similar experience. Honestly, this was one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. The staff were extremely disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional from the moment I walked in. There was absolutely no sense of good customer service, and the way the employees treated customers was completely unacceptable. Instead of making clients feel welcomed and comfortable, they made the entire experience unpleasant. The attitude of the staff was honestly shocking. Nobody seemed interested in providing good service, and the way they communicated with customers came across as dismissive and disrespectful. When you go to a salon, you expect to be treated with basic respect, especially when you are paying for a service. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. The service itself was disappointing, and the overall experience was nowhere near what I expected. Communication was also difficult, which made the experience even more frustrating. The staff struggled to communicate clearly in English, and there was a lack of clear communication about the service. Customers should be able to understand what is being done and communicate their preferences without feeling frustrated or uncomfortable. Combined with the poor attitudes and lack of professionalism, this made the entire appointment even worse. What disappointed me most was that the poor service was not limited to just one employee. The overall attitude and customer service throughout the salon were disappointing. Everyone should understand that being in the beauty industry means working with customers and treating them respectfully. Simply providing a service is not enough when the customer experience is this unpleasant. Overall, I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality service, professionalism, or a welcoming environment. The staff need to seriously improve their customer service, communication, and attitudes toward clients. Paying for a salon appointment should not mean having to deal with disrespectful behavior and disappointing service. I just have to start by saying how phenomenal my hair color turned out! I've been dyeing my hair for over 20 years, and my first experience at this salon with the talented stylist Rosi was absolutely fantastic. Usually, I experience scalp burning and itching with my color treatments, but this time, I felt completely comfortable--no itch, no discomfort. And to top it off, Rosi absolutely killed it with my hair! The color is so vibrant and exactly what I wanted. The salon itself is spotless and beautifully designed with an open, airy feel. Parking is a breeze thanks to the large lot, which makes the entire experience even more convenient. Plus, there are plenty of adorable shops nearby, including a bomb boba spot that I highly recommend. I've been going to Beauty de Rose for many years, and it truly is a one-stop shop for all my beauty needs! Anna does an incredible job with my eyebrows, always making them look perfect. Shushan takes care of my nails with such attention to detail, and I always leave feeling fabulous. Jenny is my go-to for makeup, and she knows exactly how to enhance my features beautifully. I was charged $50 for her "manicure" we went in on a Thursday and by Sunday everything had peeled off. I asked for French on my toes and needless to say- I could've done a better job. The woman was called in, came somewhere from the parking lot and once she *quickly* finished my pedicure she left.

I almost didn't leave a review, but I was genuinely disappointed because I don't treat myself often and was really looking forward to this appointment. It's safe to say, I won't be returning. PS. the place itself was nice and they do offer drinks while you're getting your nails done.
