After 5.5 hours and $350 + tip, my gray hairs in the front were still completely visible--the main reason I came in. When I brought it up, I was told I should have specifically asked for gray coverage, which should be part of a basic consultation or at minimum asking the client if this is something they want. I also had uneven, patchy highlights. I returned the next day for a fix, requested a different stylist, and was denied. They said the same person could fix it all they needed to do was tone it down a bit, and cover the greys The "correction" resulted in my hair being taken darker overall, with the highlights essentially gone. I paid for highlights and left with dark hair. They told me eventually it should lighten down but I'm not seeing any improvement it's still really dark. To make matters worse I also left with visible dye on my forehead something I wouldn't expect after paying this price at a salon. Very disappointing experience and not one I would recommend I honestly wanted to cry. I really would have expected a partial refund or a proper correction by a more experienced stylist.

This time, before the haircut even started, I simply asked to make the top a little shorter because my son is very active, has thick hair, and his head sweats a lot once the hair gets longer. Instead of responding professionally, he started arguing with me and even began telling me some strange story about how Arabs live in the desert and are fine with the heat. It was completely irrelevant and uncomfortable. When I repeated that I just wanted the top slightly shorter, he became visibly offended, started acting rude and annoyed, and made the whole experience unpleasant. Then, after I questioned why he was being disrespectful, I noticed I was overcharged an extra $15. Very unprofessional behavior, especially toward regular customers and while cutting a child's hair. After this experience, we won't be coming back.

My mom and I came for a trim and Collagen Treatment. The reservation was easy and spoke with I think was Michaela. She was the most comprensible English speaker. There was a little challenge speaking with the rest of the staff who weren't as comfortable speaking English but it was totally manageable. Alice was very knowledgeable about scalp care and noticed right away that my scalp needed care. She was right, I was experiencing more hair falling out and more irritation lately. I didn't realize that the reason was that my scalp was dry. She recommended and offered a free for today Japanese Nato scalp treatment to make sure my scalp is healthy. It made my head feel minty tingly. It felt refreshing. And had immediate relieving results. Bonus, Alice gave me a free hair mask treatment to help with my hair and we happily bought her hair serums without pressure. We excited to return and get my part 2 scalp treatment. Alice, the salon owner, very kindly offered me a special price for being a first time customer at this location. I got the organic Keratin hair treatment. It leaves hair straight, shiny and rejuvenated. Silky soft and smooth. I got the discount price of $280 plus tip. A bargain, however next time would be full price. Compared to other salons I've been to the process was so fast. I was there for 3 hours, one salon once had me for almost 9 hours. I really appreciated how fast Alice and her kind employees helped her, 2 people working on my hair simultaneously so that the process was very speedy. My critique, the language barrier. Many times there was confusion and I wanted to ask more questions but I felt hesitant to ask as I could tell they were struggling to translate. Also, the prices are a bit steep. I understand the hair treatments are expensive because they are high quality, so I advise saving up in advance for a visit here. Thank you Alice and the others at the salon!
