She had a bolster and face cradle situation that actually allowed me to lay face down which was amazing (I'm 35 weeks pregnant). Pressure was wonderful throughout and I was so relaxed. My esthetician, Ellen, also went through any skin concerns and did a wonderful facial on me. Her facial massage was so great, I was falling asleep during the service. The spa itself is very nice. There is a lounge to wait in before your service(s) with recliners, a few snacks and water. Since I had a massage and a facial, they gave me a robe and slippers to put on in between and relaxed a little bit in the lounge after my facial. During the consultation I was of course asked for my medical history which I provided I let them know I had fibromyalgia at that time. (it is not the owner or the manager in the room with you during the initial consultation, so they are not fully aware of the information provided) I also opened an account through cherry which is a financial institution The Glow Method is affiliated with in order to pay for the procedure per their options. I scheduled my procedure for about 4 months in advance. I made several on time payments as directed. At my Pre-Op appointment I went in and discussed the procedure with Eliza and she advised me against the procedure due to my Fibromyalgia and how much it would hurt, which I was very grateful that she let me know at the time. (When I mentioned this to the manager later on, she brushed it off and stated she wasn't aware that this was the reason for my cancellation ) So I asked Eliza if I could cancel and get a refund for what I've paid into the procedure and she said it would be no problem. Well.. it was a problem. The Glow Method ended up refunding Cherry only a partial payment and they kept the rest around $1500. After several weeks of going in circles with Amber the manager, I was basically told nothing could be done to refund anything else as the Cherry account was closed and they were keeping the deposit of 20% of the total $7,500 which I was not informed about in any consultation (read the fine print ladies) Amber kept having me track her down to figure out what was going on which was incredibly frustrating. She just kept saying she's working on it... If she knew they were keeping the money, then why have me go in circles trying to contact them to follow up? The "transparency" they claim to have was not coming through. I guess the company must be in dire need in order to keep that much money for absolutely no services provided. At one point Amber even mocked and said, "well what do you want me to do give you a check? we don't have checks here at the office haha." This happened to a friend of mine a few years back where they also kept her $2000 cash and wouldn't refund it and that was not 20% of her total. (I had hoped I wouldn't go through the same thing I guess) So if you plan on getting a procedure of this magnitude keep in mind that you will lose any money you have paid into the procedure if you need to cancel, even if you were advised to do so.... This was an incredibly expensive "consultation" I guess I donated to a poor pathetic cause. Ladies there are so many other places to receive these types of services. Don't risk this amount of money on a company that responds in this manner when something comes up.. especially a medical reason. You just never know what can happen by the time your procedure arrives and you may need to cancel, you don't want to lose that much money.

Her method was different and I think it was more effective that a lot of the others i've had. So basically, this was more than 20 units. The last time I had only one area done, it was frozen, almost too much. Could not move my eyebrows at all. This time, after 2 weeks, nothing. Still moving eyebrows, still seeing lots of wrinkles. This to me is NOT honest. It does not make sense how it could be. ALL botox is the same! When I told her this she offered to touch it up. I made an appt. and was running 10 minutes behind. She cancelled appt. I tried to make another one and she accused me of HASSLING HER AND MAKING APPOINTMENTS JUST TO CANCEL! Never have I asked for either. I pay a high price for services to enhance my beauty - not to leave feeling insecure. I even told Brandi (I believe is her name?) that I did not care as I am only 25! She laughed it off with awkwardness as she probably assumed that I was not falling for her bad business practices and marketing schemes. I will unfortunately never return here due to this experience. Plus, the best injectors and aestheticians no longer work here. Good work is done here, but bad business will not receive my money!

The facilities are clean, the prices are reasonable, and the people who work there are truly lovely. Michelle is particularly awesome. She is a highly skillful esthetician and will put you at ease right away. I use her for all my Brazilians and am always impressed with her work, her speed, and her attention to detail. Let's be frank - no one wakes up and thinks to themselves, "You know what sounds really relaxing? A Brazilian wax!" and yet Michelle makes this unenviable experience the best that it can realistically be. I have been a former client of both The Lash and Sugar Company as well as European Wax Center and prefer her and her work far above what I received from both of those places. The results are phenomenal and let's just say my husband is a huge fan of her thoroughness as well. I was also relieved by how knowledgeable Michelle was regarding Brazilians after a C-section delivery. This was something I was really apprehensive about. I had worked up my nerve and asked my OB about it (without even having wine first too, what a win!) but was still pretty nervous about those first couple waxes and how it might feel on my fresh scar. Michelle was wonderful at calming me down and making me feel confident in going forward with waxes, even at just eight weeks postpartum. Angela, who works the front desk, is fantastic as well. She is prompt to return calls, great at answering my questions, and overall is just a helpful, easy-going person. As someone who is highly skeptical of suspiciously positive reviews ("Really? There is literally nothing this place can improve upon?!?"), I am trying to think of a negative or something I would change. There really isn't anything that stands out to me, though. Oh, you know what? It would be great if they were open either on weekends or had extended hours. If you work a traditional 9-5 job, you may find it a little tricky to get in unless your work is pretty accommodating and/or nearby. Overall, I am impressed with the services I've received at New Horizons Med Spa and am glad to be able to recommend them so highly.
