I told them the color I wanted to achieve without using any highlights and it turned out very well! This is exactly how I imagined it. I've had experiences in other salons where they use the same color mix from my roots to tip that would show where I had the growth difference but they made sure to have separate mixes for my roots and previously colored hair. It looked so flawless and I love how it turned out. I came a bit late from my estimated appointment time but they still accommodated me and provided a hair treatment to make sure my hair is healthy. I just really had to have my hair colored that day because of my upcoming wedding. I came in with an uneven bob--internal layers, my top being longer than the bottom, left side longer than the right--but I also came prepared with my wants and don't want. I was quite nervous coming in because my hair is already short and I just didn't want any stylist making any mistakes on my hair that would require me to cut it shorter than it already was. However, Hannah provided a warm welcome and really listened to what I wanted and want to avoid. She exceeded my expectations and had me leaving so much happier with my haircut. I found it the first time as a walk in and the owner was very nice and trimmed my long hair. The second time I made an appointment and decided to go shorter. Cindy cut it and I really liked it. The second time a woman named Kim cut it and I also really liked my new shorter hair. Today I went in and a different person cut my hair. I didn't get her name. I showed her the same photo that I had shown the previous two times but what I got was COMPLETELY different. I mentioned that it was short during the cut but it kept getting shorter as she went. The hairdresser was distracted, and bleached my hair to oblivion. I requested minimal, natural looking highlights that wouldn't show major dark roots any time soon. I ended up with a nearly solid, über-blonde head of hair. When returned to my chair after being having been rinsed and saw myself in the mirror, I was in shock. Then, I was in tears. She and her assistant kept trying to convince me that this obvious mistake was "pretty." She then tried to "paint" some low-lights to fix it. This was not successful. I called needing a haircut and the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating with my arrival time since I get off of work late and there was a lot of traffic getting there. My stylist (unsure of her name but she was great!) was able to fit me in and she actually drove back to the salon for the service, which I was extremely grateful for. I asked for lots of layers, shorter from the top, a trim of dead ends, and no thinning. She took her time with my hair and made sure the length was exactly what I asked for throughout the cut. I had very thin and dead ends and she brought my hair back to life! The blowout style she gave me was exactly what I've been looking for, it's bouncy and voluminous and looks perfect with my layers. I paid $65 + $20 tip for a wash, cut, & style and my hair was about bra strap length coming in. Facility is very clean and comfortable.
