She greets my son and me with a smile at every visit, which truly makes a difference. My son absolutely loves his speech therapists, Ms. Andrea and Ms. Samad. They are consistently patient, encouraging, and supportive. It has been amazing to watch them help him grow from using just a few words and babbles to speaking in full connected sentences. We are so grateful for their dedication and for the entire team's commitment to helping children thrive.

When your pediatrician tells you your child might have autism, your mind goes blank and then…read more"what's the next step?" and "how do we help our child?" floats repeatedly in your mind with a lot of anxiety. First step, Think Kids -- Katy for a diagnosis. Next step, you have to find therapy providers. Behavioral Innovations has thoroughly impressed us as far as ABA Therapy goes. They care deeply about what they do. They learn everything they can about your child. They set up trackable data regarding every behavior that needs work, which includes finding the baseline (where does the child succeed) and what's the baby step forward to push towards a particular goal. They meet with parents monthly (although this depends on insurance, I think) to go over how your child is doing, what changes have occurred, etc. I could not recommend them more. You've found your ABA therapist. Side note: We work with Erika Neck and she is fabulous.

Her prognosis was grim at first, but she is exceeding their expectations and is now on to skilled nursing here at the rehab. I was told it is called TIRR, but nowhere on the building does it state this so don't let that confuse you. The facility is easy to find, parking is a breeze and navigating through the building is simple with everything marked so well. During my visit, I was pleased with the cleanliness, attentiveness, responsiveness and overall room layout. She is in a private room with a private bathroom. I'm not sure if all rooms are private. A schedule is given to the patient each night with what is expected/planned for the next day. The goal is for her (and all patients) to get better and stronger, so I like the planned therapy and for her to know what is expected of her to achieve the results needed. I've heard excellent feedback from other people about this place. Everything I have read and now seen/experienced is A+++. My friend even said the food was good. The Houston Metroplex is home to fantastic healthcare and I think this is another representation to that statement. Anyone going through tough situations like this, my blessings to you. Stay strong.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because I liked the therapist we worked with. However, your…read morebilling department is horrendous and needs to go back to billing and coding school. You cannot tell a patient you bill as "outpatient facility" (place of service code 22) when you actually bill as a doctor office (place of service code 11). This has dramatically changed our benefits and significantly increased the amount we owe. We will no longer be continuing services with you all. I only stuck with you over another place initially because my benefits would have been cheaper based on the way you stated you billed. To get an appointment set up with you all was a nightmare in itself. If you choose to go to this group, make sure you are health insurance savvy.

I really recommend parents watch out to make sure your kids receive the proper therapy as they…read moredeserve. We expect our kids to come there to have SPEECH therapy, but they only give my son a toy to play with BY HIMSELF, which is absolutely not a proper speech therapy. For the first couple times, I was in the room with my son during the 45' section. She used to give my son some toys to get his attention, and he could learn very well. Then the therapist M advised me to stay outside so that my son could be more independent, so I respected her request, and let him be in the room with her by himself. After couple times, I was checking with her how he was doing, she said he is too young to learn anything so she only gave him toys. I am ok with that as long as she can talk to him, or use toys to teach him as she did before. But she disappointed me. I snitched in and was standing outside by the door to observe if the therapist would do the same as she normally did. Unfortunately, she gave my son a toy to play with for 20 mins without saying anything to him, she only turned around and said "good job", that's all. I could hear the clicking sound of the toy which my son was playing with very clearly, and there was no talking sound at all. I was so worried, and I knocked on the door, open it and said "is my son ok? Because I did not hear her saying anything. She said he's ok. Then I closed the door, walk around for 10 mins and came back, and again no sound was heard. Really disappointed! I decided to quit the program, since if they only give my son a toy to play without teaching him how to speak then I can do it at home by myself. They called me back to suggest switching to another therapist, but that's ok, they lost my trust, and that's it.
