During my son's evaluation, she was extremely patient, thorough, professional and incredibly knowledgeable on speech delay and offered key, specific details on their plans to help my boys talk. I am extremely confident in their ability to help us and I am glad we chose her establishment. I have not met Ashanty in person yet, my kids' speech pathologist but she is very easily accessible and sends us updates regularly via text. We have heard great things about her from staff at our kids' schools and so far, we are happy with her. The desk staff, (I've primarily communicated with Cammie) is also amazing. We've done an initial visit as well as a follow-up visit. Nancy's expertise with feeding problems was very apparent to me. She examined my daughter during breastfeeding as well as while sucking and resting. Nancy was very professional but also very sweet with my baby. She was extremely informative and thorough. The rooms are spacious but not comfortable for visitors. The food is tolerable. Not disgusting but also not very tasty. That's not their focus. They spend their time & money on the PT equipment, quality physical therapists, & caring occupational therapist's who prepare patients for being safe & productive when they resume their life at home. They even have a car structure on the PT floor to help patients practice getting in & out of cars. They have a sample kitchen to teach how to prepare & carry food/drink while pushing a walker or in a wheelchair. My mom has been there twice after breaking both hips (separate instances). I would send her there again to gain strength & stability in preparation for her to move back home to her regular life. Without Encompass' intense rehab program, I'm not sure she would ever be fully ready/safe to go home & live independently.
