The facility is just steps from the St. Enoch subway station on the Inner Line if you need a reference to the metro stops.

This is an upmarket shopping centre which has more expensive high street shops like Reiss, Ted Baker, Vivienne Westwood and Cos (which I'm still yet to check out!). The centre is certainly decorated to match the crowd it's looking to attract - glitzy, glam and always clean and tidy. I like the size of the centre as well - it's very dinky but still has lots of shops and is easy to navigate. There's also a host of restaurants, bars and cafés but I'll be honest - I've not visited many of them. I ate at Barca probably 4 years ago and also one of the places on the bottom floor but I think that's changed hands. One down side is that if you are dining at a restaurant on the lower level, parents will tend to let their kids run riot in the centre circle which can be a bit of a mood-killer. Princes Square doesn't have a car park due to its location but it is really close to train and subway. If you do really fancy driving, probably St Enoch or Mitchell Street are the closest car parks.

A few minutes' walk in one direction brings you to a louder, brasher shop (Heritage of Scotland) and a few minutes' walk in the other and you're at a cooler shop (Slanj). Its' quiet, middle ground position belies the fact that they actually have some lovely stuff. I got some tartan tights in here and, although fashionable now, at the time they were quite unusual. I requested a full refund but have only been refunded the delivery charges. Had I known that HoF uses Evri I would have never placed the order. I certainly would never order from HoF. I honestly can't say whose customer service is worse - HoF's or Evri's. They're both terrible. Unless you enjoy being gaslighted (by both HoF and Evri), I would highly discourage anyone from making an online purchase from HoF.

I have a wedding coming up in December so decided to do it again. They offer services for any type of outfit you need, like going on holiday, new work clothes and they also offer a wardrobe renewal if you fancy a change. I booked online which was quick and simple they ask you a few questions about what your looking for, what you like, colours and your sizes. I was given a 90 minute slot. I headed to the personal shopper area, based near the men's shoes department. I was met by my personal shopper, Jordan. He explained that the normal rooms they use were busy so I was brought to a make shift dressing room in Mr Fraser's old office, which was stunning, apparently not many people get to see in the office. It made the experience even more special. Jordan asked me a few questions and then he headed off to find me some outfits. I sat on the couch and looked at magazines and relaxed. Jordan then arrived with armfulls of dresses. I then began trying them on. There was no pressure to like them, but I tried them all on. Nothing in the first lot suited. So Jordan headed off again. The 2nd last dress I tried on was the one, loved it, and again like my first personal shopper experience it was a dress I would never have picked for myself. I would highly recommend giving this a go, I think you worry that you are going to feel pressured into buying something but it's all very chilled out and fun to get a little pampered.

If you're looking for a label, Diesel is a good place to shop. If you'd rather be a little more prudent with your money and buy something pretty for a fraction of the cost, try some lower-priced brands like G Star, Bemch, Miso, Crafted, and so on. Flashy, a bit different, and overall attractive; but not worth quite as much as it fancies itself.

This one has the unique selling point of being on Union Street and being pretty big, though not as big as the one on Sauchiehall Street which boasts being the biggest in Europe, for better or worse. There's some obscurities in here in the form of children's toys from trends 5 years ago, spraypaint and cheap stationary right through to general madness that is surely never bought by anyone? Who knows. It's decent for bits and bobs, but be warned, it's not so easy to find what you're looking for and it's often mobbed. Everything costs a pound in here. Just to clarify that.

Oh wow...what a perfect way to spend a Saturday!…read more Being half way through my transplant journey, I've been stuck in a bit of a rut and not felt like myself for a long time. I look in my wardrobe and it's like it belongs to someone else. I live in black and in all honesty, I'm miserable. I don't recognise myself any more and it makes me really sad. I've met Hayley a few times and I'm not instantly drawn to people, but I love her! Her confidence and positive attitude completely fills any room she is in. What I needed was to meet someone like her to give me the kick up the backside I've been desperately needing - she did just that! We started in The Briggait attending a vintage fair which was so much fun. There were so many different stalls (as well as a cafe area and also an area to get a vintage inspired hairdo). There were so many items to choose from it did look a bit overwhelming to begin with but Hayley was fabulous! I found a gorgeous green necklace that I utterly love and a skirt that I really loved that sadly wasn't my size and that broke my heart. I was a bit nervous at first but Hayley helped me pick out colours, styles and patterns that I love which gave me inspiration as our journey continued! We then went to Once Upon A Tart for tea and scones (with fresh cream and jam) - all covered in the event price. It was lovely to sit down and get to know everyone a bit better. Oh, we also got really pretty tote bags each that contain delicious looking letter cookies (I'm going to guess they spell out vintage) and lots of information on vintage shops, events etc as well as the cutest pencil and notecards to take down any vintage inspired notes! We then headed to a few other vintage and charity shops. Although not vintage related, I picked up an amazing book on Ancient Greek Love Poems which I can't wait to read. As a Classicist, I love all that stuff! At our final stop...a 99p store I finally plucked up the courage to venture back into the old me and add a bit of colour to my life again! I got this gorgeous mustard skirt (with a white pattern detail) and a beautiful patterned peach scarf that has hints of mustard so it will work perfectly. I'm going to pair it with my plain white Paris slogan t-shirt and there we go, outfit complete!! 2 items for £1.98 - you honestly can't go wrong with that! Huge, huge thanks to Hayley for putting together such a well organised event and taking the time to look after us all. Hayley, you've really helped me remember that even though I'm going through a transplant journey and have an upcoming op, that I need to remember to be happy and take time for myself. And they didn't even know about the contents: not only did we get some leaflets from places we visited or would likely want to visit after the afternoon, but also a lovely little notebook with a pencil and Hayley's card on it, and home baked cookies with personalised little tags on them - I just loved mine so much that I haven't even opened it yet :) Tomorrow will be the day. After a nice little chat and some insider tips, we went to Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair, and with Hayley's kind help, we started to explore what the place has to offer. She really feels at home at this place and does not hesitate to share her ideas and help, and also has a very great and lovely taste - so ladies, if any one of you would just like to try something new, go and book a place in the next styling tour now! I found a lot of little treasures, and gladly brought some of them with me: an Irish celtic looking necklace, a lovely summer dress and an evening dress that just cost five pounds, unbelievable! I also found a lovely seventies dress that I must have worn in a previous life as well, but unfortunately past life me had too much of a sophisticated taste for present me to be able to afford it, so I had to leave it for good. Then we went to Once Upon a Tart and had a really lovely chat with the ladies over a nice cup of tea, scones and cream and planned the rest of the evening. After then, we visited City Retro Fashion, Barnardos (where I got a matching pin for my newly found summer dress) and Vintage Guru, all places worth going back to for a little hunt. There's student accommodation above and the Tesco is on the ground floor. I can't comment as to whether this is a much-needed supermarket for the area as I just pass by as a visitor. There is another Tesco about a 5 minute walk away in the Finneston strip though, so I'm guessing not really. Inside, it's way bigger than you'd expect. A good amount of selection of foods, ready meals, booze. Self check-outs and tills, and a surly security guard at the door. I personally don't enjoy shopping at Tesco and try to avoid it where possible so I can't say that I expect to be back here very soon.
