While many items you can find on their website, some items that they sell will not be listed online on their site. I bought a new fish tank with many accessories there and they are helping me out with all my questions. As helpful as they are, it helps to also do your own research. While their advice may be good you may find a better option on the Internet, so read those reviews and forums. Prices are OK. Most items cost a little more than what you will find them going for on Amazon or other online retailers. They price match local stores, but not Amazon, as I found out the hard way. Their return policy is fairly standard. I was able to return new and used items with receipt no questions asked. The fish tank had a few scratches that I didn't notice in the store, but I was able to polish those away (I used toothpaste, if you don't have polish it works fine). The fish tank stand was much more damaged. It had scratches and chips in multiple places, especially on the bottom. I decided to keep it since most of the damage you would never see on the bottom or top (tank covers up the top). The visible parts were fairly easy to cover up with some black paint and nail polish. The next day I told the store about this and they gave me a 10% discount on the purchase. They said that if I brought in the damaged stand they would have replaced it for another one. I think that's fair, since I decided to keep it and never brought it back to them, although I think if they saw the damage in the store before I bought it they would have discounted that stand much more than 10%. Today I'll be going back there to get some fish for the new aquarium. Kids are happy.

I received a phone call from an employee in the grooming department by the name of India M. My dog was in her schedule. She proceeded to tell me she could not do her bath and brush because three other people have called out. I couldn't figure out why she was canceling my dog for department call outs. I'm still wondering while writing this review... I told her "That is not going to work for me". She then started to tell me about the current COVID19 policy . I was told this already originally when I made the appointment. I also explained how my dog was not a fan of bath time and she could be muzzled for nail clipping.(also told to staff members when I made the appointment). She said I'm reading in her file that she's aggressive, doesn't like bath time, may growl etc. So I started to think she is definitely prejudging my dog before meeting her. She then said she has to come to me willingly. If not I will have to send her home. I was throughly heated now. I did end up calling back to cancel after some thought. I didn't think my dog would be treated fairly after that. I will be making a formal complaint with customer service. I will also be taking my dog to another grooming salon/ pet store.

Once you have gone through the initial enrolling process and gotten into their system, you fill in a request for service online and they contact you within 24 hours (usually it is closer to 12 hours). During stays, Best Friends Fur Ever have great communication. Sometimes they will upload pictures. They will reach out with any issues they have and respond quickly if you have any questions. The employees here clearly love dogs. No matter who the employee is, when we go to drop our dog off they get really excited to see our dog. He, in turn, gets excited to see them. We love that Best Friends Fur Ever will take care of grooming needs while we are away. If possible, they will trim nails, bathe them and express their anal glands. Finally, the biggest reason we choose Best Friends Fur Ever, is our dog always seems well taken care of when we return to get him. If he is happy, we are happy.

My dog Izzy absolutely loves it at Paws! It's helped him socialize and he always leaves with a smile on his face. Most of the staff is also very nice, loving, good to the dogs. Besides a recent bought of kennel cough Izzy picked up at camp, we have no complaints about the day care. The issue I have is that out of the blue the owners decided to increase the half day rate from $19 to $35! That's 4 hours for $35! And a full day is the price of double what it costs for me to board my dog overnight at my veterinarian. I completely understand a business needing to hike up rates due to increased cost, but not only was this abruptly done, but the owner (like reviewer Hannah experienced) came up to me as I was picking up Izzy and said "we better buy packages now because prices are going up in a day or so!" It was rude and as a regular weekly customer I was offended that a mailing didn't go out, nor did an email or anything professional. Paws not only increases prices but no longer wipe the dogs down after they played and drooled on each other all day, and have not replaces their old, used toys in ages. Yesterday, 5/4/26, my sister took our dog to PetSmart in Owings Mills. Zumba has been to this…read morelocation several times and no problem. In fact, we have used been using PetSmart, different locations, for probably over 20 years without incident. UNTIL YESTERDAY!!! Well, maybe I should say his previous visit as well. So, on the previous visit, around Dec. Zumba's underside was washed but apparently was not conditioned. Zumba is a Shih Tzu, so he is very short. After his last groom, he walked across the grass which was damp and immediately started to matt. I thought they probably did not condition his underside - no big deal. Anyway, he went to PetSmart yesterday for grooming. He had some matting issues under his coat and also on his underside, where he had immediately started matting from the previous visit. The groomer called and said it would cost extra - no problem. 4 hours later the dog still was not groomed!!! He had been washed and partially cut. The dog had apparently been sitting and waiting while they groomed other dogs even though Zumba had an appointment and also paid for additional time. When my sister picked the dog up, the dog looked like he was 96 y.o. and had been drunk for days. The hair on his head is chopped up, his face is chopped up, his beard is uneven, his feet look like he has boots on, hair is hanging down from his genitalia - lots of it. They told my sister they will finish him in the morning (today), now today they are saying Thursday. How they could even let a dog leave their establishment looking the way this dog looks is beyond me. They offered no refund, no discount, charged extra, said they would finish the job today, and now rescheduled to Thursday. This is the worse customer service and grooming service I have ever experienced. I do not recommend this particular PetSmart Grooming service at all. If I could give them a lower score I would. My dog looks so bad, that if I saw him on the street, I would not he was my dog.
