Amazing groomer! My Maine Coon had some matted hair and wouldn't let me get the knots out (there was a lot and I was afraid of hurting him). Laura's Pet Grooming gave me an appointment the next day and I sat there while she removed them- she was amazing!! It didn't take much time and she cleaned up his undercoat and he looks great! A few other groomers told me they'd have to shave him to get the knots out - I'm so thrilled she could do it without shaving. Plus, he didn't even make a whimper when she was removing them. Pretty sure this is my first review ever. I'm in the car on the way home from getting my cat dematted and literally can't even wait till I get home to review. A vet recommended this pet service to me for my cat when I was having a hard time finding a good communicative groomer who also wouldn't break the bank. I called and she booked me for the next day at 8 in the evening. She said she will work late just to get to my cat bc she doesn't like leaving the animal uncomfortable. She worked so fast and recommended some treatments to me. My cat was so calm with her despite the obviously painful treatment she was enduring. Laura and Stevie are the sweetest and most gentle-souled people. Their service is super reasonable, they are kind to your animal, and they are very fast. My dog is 15 years old, deaf, anxious, and weak on his legs that groomers at Petsmart have rejected. I am reposting my comment that I left on Facebook because I want to leave them a 5 star review on every outlet! : Stevie is amazing. I took my cat, she has very long fur and won't let me brush her. I was afraid the cat needed sedated in order to be groomed. We called our vet (Catonsville Cat Clinic) to set up the appointment but she recommended Stevie, saying she was great and can handle all temperaments without sedation. I'll definitely be a regular customer because Stevie is fantastic. She's very confident with animals, my cat behaved well- I definitely didn't expect that. Laura was great to talk to and offered all kinds of fun tips and insights on pet care. Those ladies are wonderful! Highly recommend!! read more

Needed a last minute grooming for my labradoodle and Laura and Stevie were able to get me in in excellent time. I was running behind picking my pup up from her appointment, due to unforseen circumstances. They were very polite about it and seemed very understanding. My pup looked excellent when I picked her up. She smells good, and her cut came out well! Maybe a little choppy in a couple areas, but what else is to be expected from a wiggly nervous dog lol! This place is awesome in my book for quite a few reasons.....They groom one at a time (no cages) She was great with my 120 pound cane corso puppy. Although they were very nice ladies.. I'm disappointed.. took my Shih Tzu there and for $50 groom fee I expected a professional groom job, it was very choppy and the cut is not clean nor even, looking at my pooch now I'm very sad and I have to take him to different groomer to fix it because he look really bad, I was contemplating if I should write this review or not but thought I share my experience.. read more

We have been using Laura and Stevie for our dog walking needs for over 6 months now! Our dog (and cats) love the daily interaction that they get and our dog really enjoys his walks and his weight and muscles have improved greatly with his longer walks. He knows what time it is everyday when their car pulls up and greets them with his tail wagging at the front door. We have also utilized them for overnight pet sitting and the recently added grooming and bath services. Laura and Stevie have a sincere passion for animals and it shows! An adorable, family-owned business run by two ladies who obviously LOVE animals. My dogs are a little weird about being around other dogs (okay, maybe less weird and more.... aggressive) but this place, what seems to be a large, converted shed in the back of their property, is private and my dogs seem to feel at ease here. While I've had to do a little shaping up when I get home to fix a few missed areas (which I know can be tricky since my labradoodles often have matts and are fidegty,) Laura is very reasonably priced a total sweetheart. I was trying to book an appointment. I explained to the lady that I moved out of state due to being stationed in Colorado (with the Army). I explained that my father is watching my dogs (while I get settled), and that I was trying to book the appointment and handle it all for him. I agreed to a day and time but said I needed to clarify with my father. So I guess while he was at work, and I was conducting training and working...I didn't get back to her soon enough and she booked that appointment with someone else, even though when I talked to her originally, there were multiple other openings that she could have booked. Not to mention she could have put the new customer on a call list and let them know if a spot opened up, like many places will do. I'm just a bit disappointed since I'm not in a normal circumstance, I thought she'd be more willing to help...but instead she just cared about getting booked up and making as much money as possible. I definitely don't trust my prince and princess with a company that cares more about locking in money than building trust with a client...especially when I'm supposed to trust them with my babies (pups). Love the personalized service that is offered for grooming. My dog, or dogs if I were to bring both, are the only ones there at the time of grooming. Price is right, location is great and it was very quick, almost seemed too quick to give a bath, trim, brush, nails, etc. in that time frame. But maybe that's because there are two of them working on one pet at at time? I'm happy with the trim and love the bows, but I would like it if she smelled a little more 'fresh'.
