We had an amazing hostess that went above and beyond to help make us feel so comfortable. Unfortunately , we had issues with the owner. The day of the rehearsal, she kept walking through the hall and listing what she wanted us to change. We were told that we had access to the entire property, then she told us the bridal suite was not part of it. Later she decided to open it up for us to change. She left a room unlocked that had an ice machine inside so we used the ice to keep our drinks cold. She then came in again to tell us that we were not supposed to be in the room and told us we should not have used her ice. She complained that we did not use table clothes to cover the entire table. Anytime we would ask a questio, her response was "you're really pushing me today". After a talk with her and expressing my frustration, she left the hall and did not return until the event was over. Be sure to keep a copy of the contract on hand with you to refer to if you choose to use them.

When you hear the name Courville you know you're guaranteed good eats and impeccable service…read more Yesterday I visited their restaurant/catering/and entertainment venue located on Hwy 90 a short drive just pass Major drive. When I entered I saw that their tables were set up with red & white table coverings ready for the lunch crowd. I was greeted immediately with smiling faces and I even received a hug from Ms. Chelle. On Wednesday's Courville offers a hot meal and a cold one called Love Lunches. The name definitely fits because you get a taste of TLC in each bite. You are welcome to come in and eat inside or take it with you. I ordered for hubby and myself, two Cobb salads to go. These salads really hit the spot during these hot summer months. The first thing that caught my eye was the beauty of the presentation. It was lovely to look at and even better to eat. This salad radiates with the vibrancy of spring, with an array of beautiful, bright colors. This dish of deliciousness starts with a mountain of fresh spring mix lettuce, followed by plump grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, egg, avocado, bacon bits, shredded cheese, purple onions, with slices of the best and well seasoned chicken breast resting on top. Each bite provided a forkful of comfort and flavor. It's a show of veggies brimming with freshness and flavor. You will eat it for the taste and love it for the nutrition. . Check out Courville's Love Lunches every Wednesday from 11:00-2:00. You can check out their menu on their FB page or on Best Bites. Tell them Best Bitea sent you. # supporting locals #BestBites

The ranking is a mystery to me. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years in my job, and that ranking is ridiculous at best and suspect at worst. There were two pluses that I can honestly point out: The modern hip colors in blue , grey and red, if you like their minimalist decor and the coffee that is only in the eating area is very good. The Best Western Plus we stayed in the night before far exceeded this place in every way!
