They treat you well. The rent is expense and should be lower for seniors. I like living here . you feel safe and the care is excellent

I really wanted this to be a five star review, but our experience here was overall disappointing…read more In all seriousness, the highlight of the night was the valet. Valet service was quick and we saw him hustling all night. Everything else was extremely slow. We were seated at 6:30 and it took about 10 minutes to order drinks, and longer still for food. Our appetizer came out an hour later, at 7:23, and our entrees finally arrived at 8:10. We heard our server explaining to another table that the kitchen was slow, but we were also slow to get water and drink refills. There was only one server for the entire upstairs back room, and the room alternated between freezing and hot. I noted on the reservation questionnaire that we were there to celebrate a birthday, but it was never mentioned. The food was fine, but not good enough for us to endure this experience again.

This Oktoberfest menu is one of the best in the city. I looks forward to this every year. There's a coziness about it that you don't get at the other locations. We love sitting in the back room on the bottom floor. The place was packed for a Thursday night. The service was a little slow but it wasn't our servers fault, the kitchen was a little backed up. This is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant that has been a longtime staple.

It's a good thing we did, because this is a busy place, and with the cold weather this week the patio was closed, reducing their seating capacity quite a bit. Anyway, were seated quickly, and our waiter was fast and efficient. The bread and dipping oil were a nice start, and then we ordered a couple of apps. The watermelon with feta was very nice, as was the lump crab cake. For mains my wife had the sea bass of the regular menu, and I had the parrot fish special. Both were really fantastic and well presented. I also noted that the fish portion sizes were very generous - something you don't see at most other area seafood restaurants. Both were fresh and quite tasty. Since everything else had been so good, we went ahead and ordered desert. My wife went with the chocolate mouse cake, and I had the limoncello cake. Again, both were fantastic. Two apps, two mains, two deserts, two glasses of wine, and one bar cocktail came to just under $200 before tip. Considering the quality and experience, I think that is more than fair. The only negatives that I can mention were that the seating was a bit tight and crowded, and the room we were in was subject to a lot of noise from the kitchen. I think we'll go back when the patio is open and give that a try. Either way, Andora is a solid 5!
