Excellent work! I have brought my car to Robert 3 or 4 times over the past few years. Each time I am more certain that I can rely on him to be knowledgeable and honest--definately not the experience I've had with a few other local places. I would not go anywhere else. read more

Been going to Beattie for years. We followed Robert from Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks to Simi Valley. My family and friends trust him. He's honest and always advises us truthfully which we appreciate! Plus he's a Dodgers fan! read more

Robert is the absolute best. He's honest, has extremely fair prices, and just does great work. Always take our cars here, especially once the dealer warranty expires. read more

Robert is the man! Great service at a great price. I look forward to working with him again.

I took my car here for a vehicle brake and light inspection for salvage titles and I gotta say I was impressed by Robert and his level of service. He is respectful, honest and builds relationships with his customers. I was in and out of there in about 45 minutes. If you need an inspection go here I highly recommend him. He even suggested some good lunch spots. Its hard to find good honest people and I definitely will add Robert to that list. read more

Robert has the old school work ethic. Says what needs to be done and delivers on his word. Reasonably priced too! Changed rotors, breaks, fluids, Tires and alignment. My 2019 Denali Yukon now rides like new. I am in love with it again. A True pro! Highly recommend. read more

I scheduled a service last week with Robert for a service today. I got there around 9:15am. I was told to come back between 1 and 2pm. Since I don't live close I normally walk around and bide my time while I wait. I returned around 1:45pm. My vehicle was parked in front. I went into his waiting room and waited about 15 minutes more. He was busy working on another vehicle. He looked at me, but didn't stop what he was doing and come inside to finalize the transaction. Finally I went outside and asked him how it went with my vehicle. He told me that he never worked on it! I responded that it would have been nice if he let me know earlier. That was all I said at the time. I wasted 5 hours waiting for him to finish. I think it was completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. He had no apology and just told me that he didn't get to it, and to come back next year. I know it's a busy time before the holidays, but I couldn't believe that he took advantage of me by not communicating with me hours earlier, and then not even to acknowledge me while I waited yet more time in his shop. This is very sad because he is a GREAT mechanic and I have been using him for years. This is my first bad review and I feel really bad. I just couldn't believe how poorly he valued my time and treated me so badly. 0 stars for today, but 5 stars for his talent. read more

My car is getting up in years, like its owner. But Robert and his crew treated her with tender loving care, so she is back on the road and reliable as ever! My air conditioner never felt this good! I've had my Jeep Liberty since 2007, and I wasn't ready to part with her... I'm glad that Beattie Auto knows a good car when they see one and will patiently put in the hard work and expertise to bring it back to running its best. At this rate, "Libby" will probably outlast me! Thanks, Guys! read more

The owner was personable and welcoming ot to mention extremely knowledgeable of cars. My mom needed the front axle done and brakes replaced he did them and it was reasonable. The place was clean and he completed the work in a timely manner. This is what my mom said after she picked up her car, "that is my new mechanic." I think she was satisfied with her service. read more

Beattie Automotive is a top notch auto repair shop! I use my car for a delivery service, and the miles add up quickly. I found myself in need of new brakes immediately, because if my car is out of service, my income stops. I called Beattie Automotive late in the afternoon, and they got me in first thing the next morning. My car was ready with brand new brakes within just a few hours and I was back on the road with the brakes fixed correctly, and for a completely fair and reasonable price. Robert and his team are very honest, skilled, reliable, and their customer service is second to none. I will be having them take care of all of my auto repair needs from now on! read more

I brought my recently purchased 1989 IROC in to get the timing done so I could pass the smog test. Even though it was a weekend and I did not have an appointment and I had never been here before, it didn't matter. I was greeted and welcomed like a longtime customer. The timing was done quickly and correctly and at a fair price. On top of the great service, seeing the beautiful older Chevrolets, one being a Z28, just reiterated that this is where I want my IROC to go for service as I bring the car back to its original glory. I recommend Beattie Automotive! read more

Exellent...just started with Robert this year. Two cars so far. On time, no added surprises, great work. I recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Beattie's emails to me prior to his update do not state he did not hang on me as I truthfully stated. He now is being untruthful. For a copy of all of his beligerant emails, MISSING his fabricated claim of not hanging up on me, message me your email address. You can see for yourself the character of this man. read more

Great service, honest and trustworthy. I was visiting a friend in Westlake and had to find a mechanic to fix my car. I found Beattie - it was only a mile away and had good reviews. They did a great job fixing my car and their pricing was comparable to my mechanic at home who I trust. The owner Robert even called the next day to make sure my car was running ok and that I got home safely. Excellent customer service! I would definitely bring my car here for regular care if I lived in the area. read more

James is so lovely! We had a deadline to meet, and not only was he courteous and concerned, and open to seeing our vehicle even though he was about to wrap up for the day, upon meeting my husband and looking at the car, he determined it needed something he didn't do- and handed my hubby over to a neighbor who could take care of him then and there. That is excellent care and we'll be back. read more

Best mechanic in Thousand Oaks hands down. Seriously if you're looking for your new go-to guy Robert is the expert to take care of your vehicle needs. He's a car enthusiast, so he's very capable on classic cars too! Call to set up a time because he's popular, he always gets back to me when I leave a message. He helped keep my old 2001 Camry running great, even with all the mileage it had, 250,000 to be exact! Now I have a new car because someone totaled my old car, and it's been running great too! I'll be sending everyone I know to Robert! Support local businesses! read more
