Stopped by for some lunch with my coworkers when visiting Houston. They all had been several times…read moreand were ranting and raving about the food. My one coworker called ahead and got the flower pot pie reserved- good thing as they sell out! She loved it and I thought it was pretty good when having a taste of hers. I chose the conductors plate with chicken salad- wish it had come on bread, broccoli cheese soup (A-MAZING), Fritos and a cream cheese muffin that was large enough to share between 4. The other 2 ladies got the porter which they loved as well. I also tried the peach tea which was special for today and thought it was very tasty. Mostly women at this venue with the exception with about 2-3 men. It was very quaint inside but in the middle of a remodel so some of the decorations lacked. Apparently they knocked out a wall when walking in- the open space looked nice to me. Next door they also have a nice shop with little items- jewelry, clothes, spoons, salt and pepper shakers, some other random stuff. Cute joint, worth checking out if in the area for lunch. However- please note this is not a typical tea house with high tea or queens tea.

The customer was okay, someone had the door locked during business hours with no sign in the window ha that should've been my first clue to stay away. I ordered a Matcha Milk tea for seven dollars, and when I got it I thought finally a quality Matcha place, not. It tasted like Fish, they use a low quality Matcha. She also said that they're looking to get some flavors first of all you should invest in your Matcha.

It was a nice welcome in and nice service. It was a BOGO free offer, I got the pineapple upside down and the strawberry. I gave the strawberry to my Auntie and she said it was very yummy. The pineapple upside down was yummy also but just a bit sweet with the thick icing on top. It was good but not the taste like a normal pineapple upside down cake. I like sweets so it was good to me. Pineapple upside down was a limited cake. They now have S'mores as a limited cake. If you like S'mores go get it quickly before they're gone.

A little warm but that's to be expected in boba shops I've noticed. The staff were very sweet and worked fast on our orders. We got 2 large bobas for $15. Most are listed for about $5.50 for a regular size. so very good price wise. I ordered a chocolate milk tea w brown sugar boba. To my surprise they have their own version of brown sugar boba. good flavor just not the default brown sugar pearls like i like so i wasn't too into it. I'll probably go back and try something else since the menu was HUGE. So many options of teas, milks and fruit. Definitely something for everyone here. Nice quaint area , very quiet. Family friendly, super chill & worth a try.
