But, in hopes of saving *you* some stress, let me point you in the right direction for those days when you just want to light your car on fire. Woke up, noticed a tired was down to the rim, and realized I had absolutely no memory of how to change a tire. Conveniently, I also had no interest in leaning all over again especially I could just throw money at the problem to make it go away. Enter Halifax Towing. The dispatcher was helpful at pointing out the costs of service in advance and efficient in getting a car in my driveway within 15-20 minutes of calling in. I can only imagine how important that would be had I been waiting on the side of the road. Once arrived, my spare was on and pumped up with some air (he noticed it was also low) within about 10 minutes and I was able to pay the $50 plus tax with a credit card or cheque. Piece of cake. The best part, though, was that there was little to no judgement of the fact that I couldn't/wouldn't do this on my own. Once I'm opening up my wallet, I really don't need to be reminded of my limits..

Called the business but they refused to give me his name. Can you imagine if this guy does this in your driveway! My boyfriend and I were having an awful day, our car got towed yesterday & brought to an impound…read morelot as a tow only meaning we couldnt drive it out of there and the company wanted $370 just to tow it to our house plus the $138 for yesterdays tow, I thought that was crazy so I called around and found GPS Towing, we decided to sell our car instead of taking it home so the driver for GPS showed up at the other tow yard to get our car and drive it to the new owners. The driver that showed up was named James and let me just say he was awesome, super nice, let us come with him to drop the car off and then dropped us over downtown as close to our home as he could. The experience I had the day before when our car was being towed was awful and the driver was so rude so it was very refreshing to have an amazing nice driver like James be the one who took care of us today. And not to mention the price was absolutely excellent at only $100 compared to the $370 the other tow company wanted. James even stopped at an ATM for us so we could get out the cash with no problems what so ever. Had some nice conversations during the drive, he was an awesome man. Absolute Con Artists they deliberately lied to me in an…read moreattempt to steal a thousand dollars from me. took my car for an MVI inspection and they told me it failed and would cost about $1000 to pass, i was suspicious as a number of the things they sited as causing it to fail are not even on the MVI check list i showed their report to another mechanic who said every thing they had put in their report would not justify failing an MVI and that i should get it inspected again elsewhere. took it to a third mechanic without showing them the initial report to ensure i got an honest inspection, they passed the car immediately without any work needing to be done. when i showed them the report from mcniells they also agreed that nothing in the report was a fail on an MVI inspection and that specifically some of the things that MCneills said were broken were in perfectly operable condition and there is no way they could have mistakenly believed it needed to be repaired. IN OTHER WORDS THEY 100% LIED IN ORDER TO EXTORT MONEY FROM ME! do not under any circumstances take your car here, i am genuinely shocked an appalled that they so brazenly attempted to rip me off. for the sake of complete transparency McNiells did say that my DRLs were not working and that they were a fail on MVI, this is true, however it was a matter of simply installing new light bulbs and they wanted $120 of labour just to determine why the DRLs werent working so that wouldnt have even included putting new bulbs in.
