The owner went out of her way to call and text back to rectify the situation, since I had traveled far and had left work early. I was able to come back in Saturday, and my cat, The Goonch, was taken in immediately, and she got right to work. I appreciate the accommodations made for my fussy, grumpy brat cat, as this was his first grooming ever (and my first appointment ever) so we both didn't know what to expect. She clipped his nails with ease, and quite a bit of matted fur was removed from his sanitary trim. He feels so much better and unmatted around his backside/stomach area now, it's night and day. I was with my cat the whole time, got to hold him to help with the shaving, made things a lot easier and made me feel better to be present the whole time. We drove down Antelope (from the direction of the freeway) and left onto Mariposa, and there was her shop. It was easy to find. As we walked in, there was a couch, a counter, with a grooming table, with dog cages behind her. It was a tight space, but she makes it work. I felt comfortable leaving Scamp with her because with our small quick chat, it was wonderful to hear she loves what she does. Scamp is a meduim size Terrier mix, and when we dropped him off at 2:45, she let us know he would be done at 5 pm. When we arrived at 5 p.m., Amy was doing the finishing touches on Scamp! He looked so adorable! We wanted his hair cut short but not down to his skin, and his facial features trimmed. He was so happy to see my sister & I! As she finished, I love how she talked to him as she trimmed him up. The cost of Scamp was $60. We also have Amy a tip. Scamp looked pretty amazing. He was bathed, his nails trimmed, and he smelled like watermelon, lol! Thank you, Amy! We will see you again soon!

Convenience: There is plenty of parking, so drop-off and pick-up are never a hassle. Schedule: I usually drop him off around 9 AM and pick him up around 3 PM. Thank you to the staff for being so considerate and listening to my "worried dog mama" rant. They were so gentle with Noah and were communicative during his wash and groom. They were gentle not to cut him, took their time, and he didn't look like he was traumatized after the groom... Normally he gets so stressed he doesn't eat, doesn't drink, never leaves our side. However, after a visit to pampered pet salon, he was back to normal after he saw us! We recommend to other dog and cat owners, we will be bringing Noah back :)

Our dog was cut up and had razor burns from her grooming appointment, and they shaved her bare to the skin and did not even give her a bath prior to shaving off all of her hair. (Do NOT go to Juleah!!) When we expressed our disappointment, the staff was extremely rude, dismissive, and unapologetic instead of showing any concern for what had happened. It appeared that she had not been given water or the basic care we would expect while she was there. Our dog seemed visibly distressed and unlike herself. Cutting a dog and drastically changing their haircut without what we requested. We trusted this salon with our dog and expected her to be treated with care. Will never be returning, and I would strongly encourage other pet owners to think twice before leaving their dog here.
