Handing it over to the second tech shop, I could hear screws moving around. Later found that pieces and software were missing. A horrible experience. They clearly didn't know what they were doing. I doubt the two positive reviews in 2019. Oh, and the front customer area was filthy--lots of dust and dog hair during my many visits to the store.

He originally quoted 120-140, when I finally got him to understand that I have an iPhone 6, he "searched his inventory" for the price and told me it would be 160-180. Why are all of their prices in a range? I even informed him apple does the repair for much less and he replied, "well you should go there." I guess they dont want business? I tried to inquire more but the guy just cut me off and ended the conversation. I dont think I would trust someone as an IT or computer repair specialist that doesnt even now the difference between iPhone models. Very, very unprofessional.

During the waiting period, I was given a 3 day notice to prep for a 30 day field problem. Monster Computers did me a solid and worked on my PC while i was out in the field (as opposed to making me hold the parts and doing it upon return) so I could enjoy it once I was back. During this time, there were a few complications with broken parts I bought. I had very limited communication with them due to bad signal/being in the field, but for the small amount that I had, they helped out by returning the parts for me and using new ones i ordered to their location. They did absolutely everything they possible could to make sure that my computer was built and ready to go ASAP, giving me an impressive and stress free experience. Plus the dude there who worked on my PC was hella cool And on top of it all, they charged a very fair price for all the work they had done for me 5/5, would highly recommend, great business

She DID have a hard time ringing up the phone though & had to ask for assistance. The guy assisting her had a hard time too. They were scanning every barcode on the box. There was only 2!!!! How hard could it really be??! Anyway, they finally figured it out & I was on my way. I would definitely go back if I needed something from there. They were following social distancing guidelines. Masks are required & the floors are marked.

When I said that's not right he said it's not his problem and walked away laughing. Rude and obnoxious and I'll never shop there again. They lost my business. I called the 800 number and they said they will make me an appt to get the correct protector free of charge and the manager should have offered that. If you wanna work in retail you need to be customer focused and this manager was more concerned with talking with his co workers than helping me.

The whole experience was ruined by me leaving the mouse at the store ( which is 15 mikes away from my home). The store phone is answered by folk from all over the world and they cannot connect you directly with the local store. You have to leave a message and hope that you are around to pick up the phone whenever they do call back. I suggest strongly considering this customer service nightmare before purchasing from any Best Buy.

The guy who worked on my machine made it worse and unusable…read more December 12, 2025, I took my heavy duty sewing machine which I had had for 50 years of great sewing to 1908 Cartier Ruby Lane in Raleigh. I was working on a project for a Christmas gift. Every place I called could not get my sewing machine back to me for weeks. In my search I ran across this company which ended up being in a house in South Raleigh. He assured me he could get it to me the next day. I was elated and took it to this foreigner who gave me a card with Fox Sewing Machine and Repair call (209) 420-5084 on it. I had one problem: The needle would not stop going up and down when I locked the wheel to reload my bobbin with thread. When I got it home, the problem was still there. I took it back the next day. On the second pick up he stated he changed a round rubber ring in the wheel and demonstrated that it worked. I took it it home and sat down to finish my project with great anticipation. Oil was coming out on the table; the wheel wouldn't stay locked when I needed to reload the bobbin and the top tension won't stay where I put it. It was a mess! Every few stitches I had to reset the tension. It took forever between resetting the tension and trying to get the sweet spot that locks the wheel that might lock one time and not the next. Eventually it would not lock at all. I ended up having to get a new machine. I wasted $100 on this man.

Being pressed for time as he was so busy during the holidays I actually agreed to do the repairs myself if he would just get me the parts. Well I got most of them and was told the last part was on back order. I never heard back from him. This was several months ago. After recieveing no communication I had to reopen the warranty claim. He then pulled a no call no show for the second claim...I had to contact the warranty people again and they thankfully gave my claim to an alternate repair company...bad business most definitely wouldn't recommend.
