I was very pleasantly surprised with my curry chicken served with rice and cabbage. It was a typical Jamaican yellow curry with bone-in chicken and potatoes. The curry was very flavorful, but not spicy. In hindsight, I should have asked if they had some Jamaican scotch-bonnet hot sauce to spice things up a bit. The cabbage, cooked with ham hocks or something similar was fantastic; it was the best cabbage I've had in a long time. All in all, my meal was excellent. My wife tried the BBQ. The fries were cooked to order, the slaw was creamy, but the BBQ was a disappointment. I tried a bite and it reminded me of the sort of pork BBQ that you can buy in the grocery store. It was a definite meh, at best. My curry chicken was definitely a 4-star meal, while the BBQ rates 2-stars, so everything averages out to 3 stars. That said, I suspect that if you stick with the Jamaican menu, you're likely to get a 4-star or better meal. One last thing: If you pay with a credit card, they hit you up with a 4% upcharge. Disappointing.
