Their staff seemed happy to be there and we were greeted with the same warmth the cafe exuded. Getting into the spa was easy but you do have to make a reservation either over the phone or by walking in. Do note: if you want an hour with the sauna and hot tub, you have to tell them when booking. They will book you for an hour but for only one or the other if you don't tell them. The space is laid back and quiet. I loved that they used an Alexa for music so I could try different types of music until I found the one that fit my mood best. The twinkling lights overhead were nice but I think I'd like darkness better. Even with the before and after showers, our skin still felt wonderful. The classes are inviting, and they do a great job of finding the sweet spot between pushing you and pushing you too far; while you WILL be encouraged to get out of your comfort zone, they listen when you say you're at your limit. The fact is that the world is a bad, potentially dangerous place, and this is a good way to be prepared for when things get out of hand. Also, it's a GREAT workout, a fun hobby and sport, but it doesn't bother you with nonsense like teams and points. Between this and the king fu classes I take at HJJ's sister school, Lost Coast San Soo in Eurkea, I feel like I'm becoming a dang 40-something Mutant Ninja Turtle, baby!
