We did go the day after there was a malfunction with one of the larger rides. That part of the park was closed. But it didn't stop us from enjoying the rest of it. Maybe this was why the lines for the rides weren't that bad. We were able to get right on most all of them and the girls were even able to do some rides multiple times. Lunchtime was in their little restaurant where we had pizza and I bought additional mozzarella sticks, which are actually very delicious. Funny enough, the highlight of the whole park was our souvenir cup, which you could go around refilling for the whole 2026 season. This included the Slurpees that are self-serve at two spots in the park. On a hot day, these Slurpees were really really good and giving us life. Most of the parents got them, but we use them again this season? Probably not, but it kinda added to the fun, and we all had a really great time.

It has been years since I've been to Adventureland, i'm talking longer than a decade but we took…read moreour kids along with a couple of friends and their kids to enjoy an afternoon at the park. To save money, we actually used library passes, which made it a lot cheaper than buying the tickets directly at the park. It was really cool and so fun for the kids! There are definitely lots of rides, whether you're seeking thrills and a little bit of danger, per se, or if you just want to do the very easy family rides. We had a great time and made sure to do almost everything, even though we were only there for four hours. It was a hot day, so the kids did a lot of repeat rides, and we are definitely already thinking of coming back. We bought the souvenir cups, which I believe were $22 per cup, but you get unlimited refills for the entire season. The kids actually refilled them three times while we were there! The one single thing I did not like was the water log flume ride because the water looked dirty. I'm not sure if it was just the color of the ride itself, but I don't know, maybe they should change the color or replace the water.

The room service was amazing. They took care of the bed really well and I just want to say if you're choosing through great Wolf Lodge or any other Ranch cause it's very nice and he has a horseback I didn't get to go, but it's OK and there is lots and lots to do I just hope that the will open soon as soon next time as I come back maybe the boats will open, but I just wanna say thank you for opening this resort throughout all these years and your cat is very nice. I love your cats rocking horse ranch very nice. I just want your cat is very cute. I just want to say one more thing. Yes,…read moreRocking Horse Ranch is more expensive but there is an endless amount of activities for the kids to do. We came on the coldest weekend of the year but my kids had a blast skiing, snow tubing, horseback riding, pony rides, arcade, game room, playing laser tag, swimming in the pool, the outdoor hot tub, and the nightly shows. Food is included in the price and it is buffet style for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is not but you are more than welcome to order more and take things to go. There's snacks available between lunch and dinner but there's also hot chocolate/coffee available all day long with some pastries. The only downside were the rooms. They are connected so if you have loud neighbors, you won't be getting good sleep. Overall, my kids loved the place and want to go back soon. I guess we'll have to wait for another Black Friday deal.

Never would I have thought that I would be standing right in the middle of the second biggest mall…read morein the U.S. But there I was on Mother's Day. Perhaps it's because of the sheer size of the mall or perhaps people were busy celebrating Mother's Day elsewhere, but it wasn't as busy or crowded as I would've expected. Although the food court wasn't packed, the wait for Jollibee was insane (probably a 25-35 minute wait). It was worth it though, I hope more malls in the U.S. have Jollibee. After eating, I explored the mall a bit. American Dream has a NHL-reuglate size ice skating rink (entrance is on the first floor, where you can also get the tickets). But what's wilder is the ski and snowboard resort - the first indoor snow resort in North America. I didn't go in but I could feel the chilliness from the condensation on the windows. There's also an NJ Hall of Fame, laser tag, Sesame Street Learn & Play, and Nickelodeon Universe inside. You can enter Nickelodeon Universe (no tickets needed) but you need to buy points to go on the rides. Even if you don't go on the rides, there are plenty of photo ops. I saw Spongebob and Squiward taking photos on a stage. Other cool things about American Dream: A ferris wheel called American Dream that allows you to see the NYC skyline, a Toys "R" Us train that goes around on one floor, and HMart. There is a fancier part of American Dream with high-end stores, too. I didn't come here for shopping though. Plenty of spots in the parking garage and it's $6 for each vehicle, though the first 15 minutes are free.

1 star - More Nightmare Than Dream…read more (But giving a 3 star since what was actually open was fun.) Took my daughter to American Dream Mall for her birthday weekend, expecting water slides and celebration shakes. What we got was a masterclass in disappointment. The water park was closed for electrical work. Fine -- things happen. So we headed to the shake shop to salvage the birthday with one of their fancy cake-topped frappés. Also closed. At this point the "dream" branding was starting to feel like false advertising. The hotel situation wasn't any better, not that the mall can be blamed for this. But fair warning to others who traveled as far as we did for this magical weekend. Pool closed for the entire weekend -- not for a quick cleaning, but pending state inspection results that could take "days to weeks." Called around to other hotels thinking we'd just move. Same story everywhere. Apparently post-Memorial Day weekend triggers mandatory state testing after high guest volume, and every pool in the area was in limbo. Nobody mentioned this when we booked. Back at the mall, the game room -- where the closed shake shop lives -- lost power entirely. And if that weren't enough, the fire alarm spent a good chunk of the afternoon flashing and blaring "there is a fire in the building, evacuate immediately" on repeat. Not once. Multiple times. So to recap: no water park, no birthday shake, no hotel pool, no game room, and a fire alarm that cried wolf so often we genuinely weren't sure whether to panic or just keep walking. Happy birthday, kid. At least the parking lot was open.

When we arrived, everything was up and running as if it were daytime. All the games, rides and attractions were in service. I rode Go Karts for the first time in yearrrs and I actually came in first place. Me! That was dope. The BIG FUN though was all the water rides. Lazy River, pool tubing and the main pool were all open and full of people ready for a great time. We were treated to a DJ who understood the crowd assignment and shoutout to the most wonderful staff. All employees on this night were in a great mood and they gave party vibes too. The promoters didn't over sell this event, so crowds and lines weren't a problem at all. I had such a blast that I wasn't even mad about getting my phone wet. I'm looking forward to going back to The Funplex for another After Dark night out. I thought they were gonna shortchange us but that didn't happen. We were given the whole experience. Good stuff!

We went on a weekday during spring break. We came for a 7 year old friend's birthday. My daughter and the birthday girl had a blast playing all the things. One of the girls is under 48" so that limited the rides available to her. Some things such as the go karts need an accompanying adult. It's adults did not get the passes for ourselves so they weren't about to do the go karts. Just something to keep in mind when planning ahead. Overall cute experience for being local.
