This is an arboretum. And it's free to visit! This beautiful place is a hidden gem. You should allow for 2 plus hours to explore the grounds. My favorite place was the Chinese gardens with a pond. A good majority of the plants are labeled and it was sad to see some of the trees had been destroyed from Hurricane Sandy many years ago. I brought my family and they enjoyed exploring. During Halloween they have a pumpkin display. They also had a small dinosaur display which was the main reason for our visit. Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes when you go, the terrain is not flat.

Our host was nowhere to be found most of the time, and I had to track down staff just to address issues--like my kids being allowed on an attraction, then suddenly being told to get off. A manager briefly said it was fine, only to reverse the decision and claim my kids were too young, even though younger children were using the same attractions. The general manager offered no real help or solutions. On top of that, I had to repeatedly ask for basic things throughout the party--socks and wristbands for guests, drink pitchers to be refilled, extra (and clean) plates for dessert, and even silverware, which we ended up finding ourselves. If you have kids younger than 5 I wouldn't go here. Overall, it was poorly managed, disorganized, and not worth the almost $700 dollar party. Save your money and go elsewhere.

They won't serve water at the food/drink spot - bring your own bottle to fill at fountain. Some kids are really big and aren't as nice to the little children when crowded. Most parents aren't watching their kids so it's up to you to ensure other kids are taking turns and not creating bottlenecks . The newly renovated section is fun and clean, a few arcade-like games (one that senses your movements via camera and one bike based option).

The "6 and under" section is just a small area with small trampolines where the older kids can still run through. The capacity limits seem stretched - it was just very crowded and you couldn't really enjoy / savor an activity before another kid was either waiting or shoving through. Not really worth $20 - I can see how it may be more worthwhile if you had a membership, though. There's a dodgeball area, tug of war, jousting, run up/pit, trampoline area, the toddler area, some arena that wasn't being used and hanging ropes. May be better suited for older children, or just less children - definitely chaotic when we went. Could be better experience when more empty. You also need to purchase their grippy socks ($3/pair +tax). they're on the tighter side and really stick onto parts of the sidetracks (to the point the socks stay while your foot moves - not good for those with poor balance). Saving grace (extra star): all the people at the front desk were so nice and helpful. The arcade area had air hockey, racecar driving, motorcycle riding, jurassic park, a punching bag, and several claw machines. If I recall, each game was $1.50-$2/swipe for credit card. You can purchase an arcade card as well (may be cheaper). We played two rounds of Jurassic Park - sadly you pay by scene not life I was excited to see my budding video gamer kid have fun, though. They sell food and drinks - I didn't partake as we left at noon (90 minute jump) - there are tables as well for you to eat at. Bring a bag! They have lockers for $3.50 for 1 hour +$1/30 minutes, as well as cubbies that were completely full by 10:30. We went for the lockers to keep our stuff (shoes and jackets).

Just keep that in mind if you're looking to reconnect with friends... Maybe camaraderie is better suited to before and/or after. All in all great day.
