The Overlook Lodge is not maintained. Stinks, chipped paint on the building door, and floor mats at the building entrance that's permanently stained. I paid $315/night for a bland room with a parking lot view. It was so bad, we left after the first night, cutting our trip short. Avoid it at all costs. You can visit the Bear Mountain State Park without staying in the Bear Mountain Inn/Overlook Lodge. Worst option if you have a pet with you. read more

Last year at this time we really enjoyed ourselves at Overlook Lodge with our pup. While still outdated and not very clean, this year Overlook Lodge was not decorated at all for holidays. Also while we knew restaurant would be closed due to Covid, not many other food delivery options. To top off our trip which was focusing on the spa, my BF massage was interrupted by fire alarm due to kitchen fire (no fault of hotel, things happen), and obviously not completed. I loved Bear Mountain for its hiking and having this inn made a wedding here possible. As part of a weekend, my party booked 8 rooms here at the Overlook Lodge and we were able to get a group discount (about $20 off each room.) We were happy with our rooms. Late checkout is just 30 minutes more as someone mentioned because they do ensure ample time for disinfecting. I loved the rustic feel of the lodge and of course the view! I also really liked not having as many guests stay here as in the Inn. You do have to check-in at the Inn still, but it isn't a hastle. Due to COVID it was nice to not worry about running into too many people at the lobby in the Lodge. We were also allowed to use the fireplace to make marshmallows (provided we left no mess.) Due to COVID I think the Inn has been offering some discounts, perks or packages that otherwise wouldn't be available. I booked the 8 rooms at the Lodge directly through the staff at Bear Mountain and then I also booked a separate room at their Stone Cottage through Expedia (had to redeem my points.) I was worried I would run into issues with the credit cards on each room or with being charged extra for hiccups here and there but I did not face any issues. I found everyone helpful! I had another friend book her room separate from ours (last minute change) and she also stayed at a stone cottage. She liked it and text me about going back! I should disclose at the stone cottage, you are sharing the space. It is about 2/3 rooms and the walls are very thin. I'd recommend the lodge for more privacy. I may be back soon to see how the rooms at the actual historical Inn building are. read more

We stayed here for the Ms. birthday. The place was very nice and rustic while maintaining a higher level of quality than the reviews show. Having access to the park right from our lodge was great! The mountain is a great hike. The on site trails are adequate for all skill levels. The room was very clean! They ensured we had a decent stay before we left. We popped in here, the restaurant, after driving up to grab our empire pass. Bear Mtn gave us ten bucks back so it was burning in our pocket. My mrs to be described this as fine and I'd tend to agree. I got a burger but it came with nothing but the burger and bread; I asked for LTO and the brought some some cherry tomatoes, odd but surprisingly not that bad and as I was eating my make shift salad a squall came through and that was pretty magical, especially since there were people complaining that they couldn't eat outside and said squall would have covered those people, who I'm sure would have complained. If you order a beer you have to order like a 20oz beer which you know, sometimes you just want a 16oz beer. read more

Terrible experience. Don't stay here. Lodge Rooms are far from the inn and expensive and the tv at the bar does not work. Thought we would enjoy our night and watch the game and sit at the bar. Nope! The tv went out 6-9 times during our time here. Been like this 20 years according to bartender. Don't stay here unless u want to hike and have no tv that works. We will NOT be coming back. First time going here and in my opinion I wasn't to impressed with the food. Me and some family went there after church at west point because it was close and the place looks beautiful. But when it came to the food I wasn't to happy. We paid for the buffet and there were a few things that were good, but most was either to dry and or tough. What I noticed first were the buzzards. They are large, ugly, dark-colored birds that feed on dead things. There are dozens of them perched on dumpsters, like sentinels. When a vulture walks, it scuttles along the ground with a lopsided hop, like a hunchbacked Igor. They are foreboding creatures that blanket the grounds with gloom - not the kind of imagery you want when you're about to spend a few days alone in the woods. Looking forward to the trails, I disregarded the buzzards (turkey vultures, actually), and headed to my room to get settled. The rooms are basic but the trails are lovely. If the woods are what you came for, then that's what you'll get. The most popular trail leads to a tower at the summit of the nearest mountain. It's a strenuous hike and the views are stunning (or so I've seen in photographs - it was overcast when I hiked it; the summit was a netherworld of gray, smoky clouds). That said, a popular trail comes with a price - traffic and litter. I was rarely alone. There are other trails for solitude. On my second day, I hiked to Bald Mountain. I didn't cross paths with a single hiker the entire day. It was sunny; the views were great. Along the way, I saw deer, rabbits, chipmunks, cardinals, salamanders, and fish that jumped right out of the lake. At the end of the day, I was back at my room for a shower and change of clothes. I was staying in the Stone Lodge, a 4-room facility with a shared kitchen and shared porch. As I sat on the porch, a gentleman, who was also staying in the lodge, joined me on the porch. He was drunk and he had a gun. He started shooting into the woods, over the path where people were walking and fishing. He was kind enough to offer me a turn, but I had come to Bear Mountain to enjoy nature, not shoot it. I declined, returned to my room, packed my bags, and returned to the main office. The staff gave me another room at Overlook Lodge, which is like a Hampton Inn set high on a hill overlooking the lake. It's a long walk to get there, but the terrace is great. I unpacked a gin and tonic and drank in the view. But even a hotel terrace starts to feel claustrophobic, so I thought I'd sit by the lake below. Trouble is, the entire lake runs alongside a main road right off the highway. Bored men who like loud noise use this road to prove how loud their engines can get. So, if you find NASCAR races relaxing, you'll love sitting alongside the lake at Bear Mountain. As I moved along the lake heading toward the main Inn, the ground rose beneath my feet and blocked the noise off the main road. Success! But I spoke too soon, because I was immediately subjected to another problem - the Inn's industrial strength restaurant exhaust fan. I escaped the NASCAR racetrack only to walk onto a tarmac with the noise of a jet aircraft. All the while, my movements were tracked by vultures. Watching, waiting. So I headed to the Inn, a beautiful WPA-era building that I was sure would have a place where I could read my book in the remaining daylight. Foiled again. The grounds have plenty of picnic tables, but the tables are all sitting in dirt, worn bare by the day visitors who don't seem to mind the dust or the birds of prey. Suddenly, I realized that there was no place for me to just ... be. The woods were more comfortable than the grounds of this seemingly beautiful oasis. My perspective shifted and I no longer saw the beauty of a million colors reflected in the lake. Instead, I saw all these little signs of neglect. The main entrance that hadn't been swept in days. The welcome mat, unshaken for weeks. The restaurant terrace, littered with leaves, its windows draped in cobwebs. Even the layout started to chafe. When you enter the Inn, you think that you're entering the front. In fact, you're entering the side. You walk past the gift shop and cafe, then turn left through double doors, and circle around to the registration desk. You don't walk directly up to the registration staff so much as you sneak up on them, as if you're hunting them. Which, I suppose, you are. Now, I'm not Lord Grantham and I didn't expect this to be Downton Abbey. But I did get excited about being some place beautiful and rustic. However, there's a difference between rustic and neglected, and Bear Mountain Inn blurs that line. (For the record, all the staff with whom I interacted were helpful, professional, and kind.) Yes, it's a state park with state funding. So, perhaps management has done a Herculean job running the Inn as well as can be. Certainly, things like sound barriers, noise ordinances, speed limits, restaurant exhaust, infrastructure, and landscaping represent costs and hurdles potentially too great to overcome. These things take not only money but political will and community support. Regardless, it is what it is. If you plan on spending a few days at Bear Mountain, all I can tell you is how I experienced it. Maybe you love vultures staring into your soul. I don't have that kind of confidence. read more

Was expecting this to be a fancy place, judging from the cost. We expected to stay in the Overlook Lodge, instead we got put in a stone cottage with six rooms off a common room. Instead of personal fridge and microwave it was a COMMON fridge and microwave (in the age of Covid!!!), there was terrible WiFi and spotty cell service. We had to go to the main inn for a "grab and go" breakfast which involved poor quality bagels and no spread for them, awful coffee and rare yogurt (if you got there early). This review is for the Overlook Lodge and let me just cut to the chase: I cannot wait to come back and stay here again! I needed to get the hell out of Dodge and into a lodge (dah) and was going to fly thousands of miles to try and get away from it all but my plans kept falling through. Turned out, all I had to do was drive about an hour north and immediately feel thousands of miles away from home. I keep forgetting the oasis that is Bear Mountain and Harriman State Park and just how close they are from Hudson County, NJ. What I LOVED: ~ Room with a view. Second floor, lakeside. Can't imagine staying on the other side of the hotel where your view is mostly of the parking lot. When you book, make sure to ask for second floor, lakeside. The views were also spectacular from the lobby terrace with plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy your complimentary coffee looking out over Hessian Lake and the Hudson River. ~ The room itself with all it's "green" touches from soap with a hole in the middle to prevent waste to cardboard pens and recycled stationary. The kitchenette with the cutest prep sink and counter space, an ultra clean microwave and fair trade coffee for the coffeemaker in your room. Also, I cannot stress how absolutely CLEAN and CRISP and beautiful this room was. Just spotless. ~ Huge lobby with one wall just for the stone fireplace. Cozy armchairs with headrests. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot cocoa all day and night. Games to enjoy fireside. Friendly, informative and accommodating staff (check-out is at 11am but asked for a later check-out time and it was quickly approved so I had the room until a lazy 1pm). ~ Location. Location. Location. Although about a mile up the road from the actual Inn, I did enjoy the location of the Overlook Lodge more than the Inn itself. The Lodge is up on a hill overlooking Lake Hessian. A trail was easily accessible just yards from the hotel so no need to pay for parking down near the Inn if you just want to do a light (but steep) hike during your lodge stay. You can also venture out further and up Bear Mountain while keeping your car parked free of charge at Overlook Lodge. ~ WiFi. Hard to get service in the middle of nowhere but the free WiFi kept me connected in case I needed to browse a trail or check out the menu for delivery options (note: other than beer and basic snacks Overlook Lodge has no dining options, I brought my own food and made use of the free coffee, tea and cocoa from the lobby). ~ Continental breakfast. The love isn't for the food options (I actually didn't partake in the multiple cereals, muffins, danishes or oatmeal served in the lobby) it's that you can grab a good cup of coffee and enjoy it on the terrace overlooking those breathtaking views first thing in the morning. Some things I DIDN'T LOVE: ~ Thin walls. Neighboring room had the loudest, most annoying and angry woman shouting in some kind of Slavic language. This made it all but impossible to enjoy the view from the room without wanting to punch through the wall to shut her up. ~ Checking out. Because I didn't want to leave. Went to visit Santa today for an event at Bear Mountain Inn. Employees and staff we so helpful, engaged and all around pleased to work and be there. It was an amazing day for My six year old. He called Mrs. Antonette Love and Mrs Tracy angels. They treated him like he was VIP, bent down to his level talking to him and so excited about the whole event. We were the last ones to see Santa but he still was full of energy and so nice. Santa elves in the front were nice and let my son take pictures with them as well. We are being left to freeze in the dark with no electricity or hot water. We have tried to get someone to help. No hot water for two days and we spent nearly a full day and night without electricity. While they confirmed they were aware of the problem, they have not actively sought to warn or inform customers. No one even lit the fireplace, closed the windows in the common area, or gave out flashlights or extra duvets. Despite what it has been saying on the website for over a month, the restaurant has not been opened. Check in/check out is in a different place from where we stayed, about twenty minutes walk away, up a hill, so you may also want to avoid this place if you don't have a car. Hoping to get a refund and get out or here. So a quick update: after complaining again that we were now on our third day without hot water, they moved us from the lodge to the inn. So much nicer and far more convenient! read more

Oh Bear Mountain... I was SOO pleased with my last stay that I jumped at a chance to stay again in 2015 when offered by groupon. But unfortunately this time, i was left unimpressed and frankly, quite sad by my lackluster night. It was a crazy snow storm again and my sister and I pushed thru the weather to stay. Once again I booked the lodge but this year, there is no personnel at the overlook itself and instead you must check in at the Inn. Not a big deal but um, what happens if there is an emergency or a general question back at the lodge area?? We get to the overlook and to our dismay, we are not lakeside, but instead facing the parking lot. Ok, we can deal. Open the door and WHAT.... the room is no where near as nice as the ones across the hall-- the fridge was a joke and could maybe hold 6 cans of soda (the ones across the hall held a 12 pack of beer last year) and the bathroom was smaller than mine at home. The bathrooms across the hall, lakeside are three times the size and I was looking forward to taking a tubby... NOPE. There was no handsoap either and a dirty stopper, so that was a canceled plan. Ice is in a cooler, like the type you would take to a beach, and is at the foot of the stairs in the basement/banquet level. No joke, thats sketchy as hell. I also lost the room key at one point when we sat in the lobby and almost had a panic attack calling the main Inn and no one picked up for 5 mins. thankfully a maintenance man drove it over 10 mins later. Overall, I suppose my first experience at the Overlook could not be topped and my sister and I were highly disappointed by the room accomodations. Be sure to request a lakeside view for the fact that its a much nicer room for the same price (felt like a rip off for what we had) and the breakfast is only given at the Inn currently as well. The lack of coffee/tea/hot chocolate by the fire brought down another star as well. :( read more

This review is for the Overlook Lodge, my son got married October 22, 2021. I will start by saying for the most part everything was great, we had a wonderful time. A couple of things we had to address, the rooms in the Overlook Lodge were overpriced understand the time of year had something to do with it autumn is very popular at Bear Mountain Park. The other thing was some of our guests did not get their full portions of beef so that was embarrassing. I will say it was addressed very quickly and they did the right thing. Writing this review was extremely traumatic because I had to recount each painful moment of our dining experience here. The only thing which makes it "bearable" is the location. With that said, here's my abridged review: beautiful location (1 star), reasonably priced, basic menu, wait unreasonably long, inept hostess, slow kitchen, wait staff (1 star for effort). Here's my full review. The 20 minute wait for a host to put our group's name down on the "to-be-seated" list didn't make sense because there was no line. Four adults and two children shouldn't be difficult to seat. While we waited, we looked around and noticed tables open everywhere throughout the main dining hall and the Tapas bar, so we didn't understand the reason for such a long wait for the hostess to acknowledge our presence. Perhaps the normal staff was off on Black Friday? Who knows? However this is their busiest time of year so who's managing the staff schedule? After the hostess placed our names down on the "to-be-seated" list, we waited another 10 minutes "because" she didn't want us to be seated too long without food so instead had us wait in the lobby standing up with two children. Noticed the pattern of illogic yet? Another 10 minutes go by and the hostess asked us where we'd like to be seated and we chose the Tapas bar because food was actually being bused there. After another 15 minutes our waiter came out and we could tell he was trying his best (1 star). He brought us water and took our orders of hot dogs from the children's menu, two 1915 burgers, a veggie burger and a chicken wrap. We selected very basic menu items hoping our food would come out quicker than other tables we observed during our 45 minutes of waiting. No luck! We waited another 30 minutes for our food and we were not alone. Everywhere we looked, people who had been seated before us were still waiting for their food. So far we've been put through the wringer on a holiday when everyone should be thankful. However expecting a three- and five-year old to be patient when they're hungry and eager to go ice skating is a different and unrealistic expectation. By this time I prayed that our food be delicious when it arrives. When our food arrived, I dug in to my burger and noticed the bun was hard and stale and my medium well-done burger was rare. I'm at my threshold! I opted for the soggy fries instead. The meal with tip ended up costing $100 for two 1915 burgers, one veggie burger, one chicken wrap, two children's hotdogs, two beers and two ice teas. My recommendation is don't eat here. Instead take your photos, have a beer at the bar and leave. This place is not worth the price or time. We were thankful to learn never to eat here again! read more

We stayed in the Bear Mountain Overlook Lodge up the hill. It is located on the mountainside with a little waterfall running down it. It was night time when we arrived and I loved all the falling leaves and sound of the babbling brook as we pulled up. A fire was roaring inside with a few guests enjoying some wine. Honestly, maintenance, cleanliness, and service at this hotel could be much improved. The beds weren't super comfortable. Despite these things, it was just an absolutely wonderful stay. Updated and woodsy enough but not so perfect that it felt sterile. It felt more like home. Lots of privacy. Super cozy with the fire they light every night at 5pm. There was one time they tried to charge us for the starter log when someone couldn't come and light the fire fire us, which was hilarious. But again none of this stuff was enough for me to feel any different about our stay. The surroundings are also so beautiful. Of note: We didn't hit the restaurant because of the reviews. read more

This review is just for the Cafe on the first floor. After a half day hike, the ice cream in this cafe was oh so tempting. After all, we just hiked off loads of calories and knew the hunger pains would hit us without warning sooner rather than later. The sign said they have Perry's Ice Cream. We sampled a couple of flavors and I settled on the pumpkin ice cream but as a shake with whole milk. That was smooth and creamy and was the perfect ending to our fall hike. We realized after the fact that we did not need to pay the $10 we paid to park but regardless we had a good time. The lodge is simple but quaint. The maps provided at the Inn were a little hard to read and not color coded. The trails are well maintained and very clean. We took the major Welch tour (1.5 miles) up and it was a beautiful, rugged and challenging hike- totally worth it. read more

I stayed at the stone lodge this passed weekend and omg it was so adorable and accommodating. Outside of our room in the stone lodge was a kitchenette area with a fire place, dining room table, and a microwave. Due to Covid the dining hall is closed but we brought food from home so we were able to reheat it there but the front desk also provided restaurants near by that deliver. The day we left we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast at the inn lodge and than we walked to the zoo. The Bear Mountain zoo was a must with really interesting animals and facts. The front desk was also very helpful with directions and questions involving the area. We stayed in a queen room which was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom was really nice as well. After hiking all day it was the perfect place to shower and relax. I would 100% come back during one of the warmer months and enjoy the front deck of the cabin facing the mountain or the row boats in the lake. I can't say enough about how much I really enjoyed this place but the views are 100% worth it and breathtaking! read more

My fiancé and I visited the area and we were ready for lunch so we went to restaurant 1915. The indoor space was gorgeous, I really liked the rustic ambiance. We ate outside since it was a beautiful august afternoon. I ordered the Caesar salad and my fiancé had a burger. The Caesar tasted like a typical Caesar, what you'd expect. But better than the average. I loved how the cheese was made into a cracker so I had cheese in every bite. I also had chicken with the salad and it was so tender and juicy. Not dry at all. My fiancé said the burger was delicious and gobbled it up. If I visit again I'm definitely coming back to eat here! read more

Took families to this traditional Thanksgiving meal. I haven't done this here in years. They seemed organized in a way that didn't offer the best service. For example they offered to confirm our reservations a few times and got us seated but we're too efficient in distributing their waiters so we never really got any guidance after being seated until I walked up 10 min later to see if we can start but then they told us someone would come over. The spread had all the basics but besides the dark turkey and cranberry, it was very overcooked and dry. Overall it was very decent. At the end when I tried to secretly pay the hostess, she simply told me that she doesn't handle that over and over. I don't usually give overall disappointing reviews but Bear Mt Inn, perhaps the holiday buffets may need a tad more refining. I'd definitely try it again when I hear better things! Family and I went here after a circle like Oktoberfest cruise and enjoyed the buffet for lunch. The buffet had salads, wraps, bratwurst, a pork dish, penne vodka, a chicken dish, potatoes and potato pancakes. They also had a few selections for cookies and brownies. All the food I had was very good, especially the penne vodka. Food tasted fresh and the buffet like moved around quickly. A negative was at first the set up was confusing, we were told there would be a buffet but then was also table service which was confusing. I booked myself a trip alone to relax and just enjoy nature. They only had one room left in the Echo Lodge which is not in the main lodge. It's a cute cabin with a fireplace and individual private rooms. The room is nothing fancy but a comfortable place after a long hike. My only issues were the heat (you cannot control the heat in your room) so I was a bit cold. Also the walls are very very thin so thank goodness I brought ear plugs! The fireplace in the common area was very relaxing. It is a common area so you may be sharing so if you want alone time it may not happen. The cool thing is if you ever want to rent out the entire cabin with friends and family this is a great idea! There is a small fridge and sink and microwave in the common area as well. The lodge overlooks the beautiful lake. A nice breakfast was included which had eggs, sausages, fruits, bagels and more! Very good breakfast to start the day. Hiking here is beautiful even in the winter. There are some good trails ranging from easy to hard. Staff has been very accommodating and friendly. The bartenders were friendly and fun to be around! The front desk extended my check out time so it would work well with my spa appointment. If you love nature, fresh air and a cozy cabin feel then this is the place for you! read more

This review is about Bear Mountain Overlook Lodge which is the sister venue. I went to a wedding at this venue this past weekend. I don't know what they paid for the food but it was absolutely terrible. It was cold and tasted like it was cooked twice like leftovers. I mentioned this to a coworker this week and they had the same experience last year so this is not a one time experience. The venue does not offer great views for wedding photography so keep that in mind too. I did not stay over but I did see one the rooms. I would make them equivalent to a Super 8 hotel. The bear Mountain Inn is an amazing historic in that is nestled along the Hudson Valley is most scenic area. One of the major attractions in the whole Northeast, it sits perched high along the Hudson River over looking the bear mountain bridge. In the shadow of Perkins Point, this Historic Landmark offers Five star amenities. Whatever you do make sure you catch the Sunday brunch. This is a beautiful spot for personal and professional retreats alike. The natural scenery is an excellent outlet to the hustling surrounding city. From the concrete jungle to these fields of forest, no matter where you're from, Bear Mountain is a nice and relaxing hike away. The staff at the Bear Mountain Inn could be a bit more accommodating to space preferences and requests, but apart from that, my stay here was a very positive experience. read more

Just stayed 2 nights at the bear mountain inn, and I gotta say, I'm not going back. There were a few good things, hence why it's not a 1 star (gotta be fair), but overall it was miserable. The good: The inn itself was cool looking both inside and out (sans the construction going just outside) and the surrounding area was gorgeous. Also I didn't have much dealings with the staff but what I did have, they were very polite and pleasant. The concept behind the bear mountain inn is a really cool concept... The bad: ...but in execution it failed. We stayed in one of the stone cottages. You park your car in front of the cottage, but the entrance is literally on the other side, so walking to the "front" when it's pitch black (no lights after you leave your car) and it's 20 degrees, no fun, ESPECIALLY when you are carrying luggage. Once inside, there are six guest rooms within the cottage (all have key cards so no security issues there), but it's just a bed, tv and bathroom. No chairs, desk or anything you find in even the cheapest Days Inn. They are in the common room, which has only 2 cushioned chairs and 4 kitchen chairs and one small table. If you want privacy, forget it. If you want to use it when someone else is there, forget it. Also the microwave and tiny fridge is communal. I was a nervous wreck leaving leftovers in the fridge not knowing who is messing with them. They also have a fireplace you can set up with a single log. That in itself is fine and the concept is cool...until one of the house guests did and all the smoke poured into the cottage, filling our room (and the rest of the cottage) with smoke, making our room uninhabitable for about 2 hours and all my clothes smelled like smoke (big problem for my suits.). I have also slept on many hotel beds of all qualities and firmness levels...never have I ended up with a tweaked back after a night. And I slept on a futon for two years at one point in my life. Worst night sleep I've had in a LONG time. (Granted it didn't help with the roomies being loud in the common area half the night with zero sound proofing). They also have "high speed" WiFi. That is straight up false advertising. The speed with less then 1 mbps download and upload...when it worked at all. You try to watch a YouTube video at 144p, and it could take several minutes to load a 30 second video but the WiFi would cut out completely randomly and not even register on my devices (iPhone 8S and iPad Air 2). So getting any work done or enjoying your favorite show if not downloaded ahead of time is out of the question since you are in a valley with next to no cell signal (I am using Verizon). Then there's the thermostat. One. ONE!!! It's in the common room and shared with all the guests. Needless to say that can and did cause major issues. The rest of the amenities were "meh". Standard or slightly below standard. They also have rooms in a larger lodge and at the inn itself which may be a better experience, but my review is based only on the stone cottage room and the universal items. read more

We decided to stay here to do a lot of hiking for a long weekend. The park and scenic views were absolutely incredible and it was evident why this is referred to as the crown jewel of the NYS park system. Due to coronavirus though, there were several comfort features that were unavailable that would have been nice to have. First off the breakfast provide was healthy, but small with limited options. I understand that this is to limit cross contamination, but everyone is pouring their own coffee from the same dispenser so why couldn't we still have a regular continental breakfast. We also had booked a room in the more remote overlook lodge but upon arrival had been "upgraded" to a room in the main inn. The park is rightfully extremely busy during the day and our room was adjoined to an area where customers waited for their spa services. In the overlook lodge we might have had more peace and quiet after hiking 10+ miles per day. Overall though it was a nice hotel with higher end facilities. The room and bed were comfortable, though I wish there were more blankets and the chair didn't have a cheap slip cover on it (just replace the chair). The hikers cafe also had limited hours which was disappointing and the restaurant was closed completely due to Covid. I had really looked forward to eating their food unfortunately. read more
