    Plentiful, beautiful blueberries

This is a terrific place to pick blueberries. They hang from the well-maintained bushes in large clusters. Very clean place to pick. Bushes are mature and stand about 6' tall. I picked 15# in about an hour last week. I go back year after year - and often more than once per season.

And being only a 15-20 minute drive out of Eugene, a great way to spend a few hours with friends & family. We spent about 2 hours picking low-hanging cherries (really no need to climb ladders since fruit was so abundant) and got about 10 lbs for $30. The cherries were so fresh, sweet & juicy.......this from "sampling a few" which is also part of the fun of u-pick........that and pit-spittin' contests! I went over to the corn area and grabbed a few of the produce bags that are more substantial and was filling them up as I walked around. It was a busy day so I couldn't get in to all the produce until the other customers were done. I tucked a couple of the bags in the front pocket of my purse so that I could reach them easily as I walked around. One of the employees, she was mid 40's with dark curly hair came over to me and demanded that I give her the bags that I had. She said that they cost money and I couldn't take them. I explained that I was not taking them but that I wasn't done shopping. She said "give them to me, and we will bag up whatever needs bagged" She didn't say it quietly, but she was very loud and Karenish. I will never go back, and I have been telling all my friends what happened and I hope they pass it along. That is not how you treat paying customers. Had she waited for me to checkout and if I had any bags remaining in my purse, then maybe she would've been in the right to ask for them back. But not while I was still shopping. That's how people get hurt these days.

This vendor needs to seek education re service dogs and ESAs. If I can figure out the red tape I will be filing a formal complaint!
