Needs some new flavors that are different. Maybe think about soft served yogurt with fresh flavors.

The best part about hilltop market is the owners. The Asian gentleman is very courteous,…read morerespectful, helpful. The store in conveniently located and parking is simple and ample.

When you're way out in the middle of nowhere, Oregon (or possibly heading out to Fern Ridge for…read moresome camping or day-use fun), you may just find yourself in need of beer, ice, snacks, or various sundries. If so, Hilltop Market could have the answer to your burning desires. This little independent market, hidden behind a thick patina of beer banners and neon signs, offers up a surprisingly robust beer and beverage selection. With a ton of great local 22oz bombers, high-end cans including 21st Amendment and Caldera, and the usual macro light beers (giant Coronas, anyone?), there's something for every hops-consuming palate. Hilltop also rolls out a deep collection of N/A bevs from Vitamin Water to Mexican Coke and all sorts of interesting energy drinks too. Frankly, I was surprised to find such an insane beer collection so deep in BFE. Chips? Fuggedaboudit. These guys stock every flavor of Pringles (or at least 4 or 5 flavors) as well as a bunch o' random munchies. Everything you'll need to keep you snackified on a hot day down at Richardson or out on your Yacht in Fern Ridge. As for the rest of it, the selection is well above your average Dari Mart or Plaid Pantry but not a full grocery. It's still a convenience store that's simply well stocked. And local. And legit.

When I was growing up a million years ago the "Gross Out" was where you went when life was starting…read moreto run out of options. The products were usually rejects from other stores and/or about to expire. I saw a shiny new GrossOut just a few blocks from me and decided to poke in and see what, if anything had changed. Look, this ain't no Whole Foods, hell its not even a Safeway. That said this is a good store. The prices are cheap though the "priced xx.xx elsewhere" stickers seem crazy high to me, the price you pay is pretty reasonable for the most part. If you need to stock up on the basics this is your place. Heck if you keep your eyes open you'll find some pretty amazing deals on other foods that maybe did not hit it so big at the other stores. I like their natural food aisle especially. Their wine is cheap and I've not been let down yet. The only place where their prices seem to be even remotely close to the real world is their beer section but you can make your own mind up with that. I find enough food here to keep my freezer stocked and my wine selection maybe a little TOO stocked for pennies on the dollar. Yeah their inventory rotated and you may not find the thing you liked the next time so be sure to buy all you can of that thing the first time you're there. The checkers are great and all in all I've never felt bad being there. That's saying a lot about a Grocery Outlet. This one is new and seems to have its head on right. Go check them out.

Great bargains can be found here. But they don't carry everything I need, so I usually have to go…read moreelsewhere afterward.

Overall a nice store, employees can be a little rude sometimes and some of their prices are…read moreextremely high $7.09 for a can of Campbell's soup but their fresh meat counter is pretty reasonable sometimes cheaper than Safeway just have to pick and choose what you shop for there..they make to order sandwiches and their always soggy they need to get hogie rolls because bread just doesn't work and I've been getting sandwiches off and on for about 15+ yrs till I just stopped and not just me but other people also I know switch bread and I'll be back getting sandwiches once again,, just a suggestion plus their hot food is always old and dried out if it's passed its time throw it out don't sell it to people my ex husband came from Idaho and went and spent like ,$35.00 and brought it to my house we had to throw away 3/4 of it and choked down the little that was eatable

It's Dari-Mart, so it's typically overpriced convenience items. Usually there's nothing exciting…read moreabout that kind of store, especially in a small town. This store seems to have expanded recently and now have veggies and fresh fruits. Which is good. I didn't check the prices to compare to anywhere else, I just noticed them there. The employees are nice. The older ones know the regulars, the newer ones are more formal and stiff. But I've never had a real complaint about anyone in there. The store seems cleaner than most, and that's nice. I always appreciate a clean store. Will I return? Yes. It's not my favorite store to go, but in a small, and I mean small town, it's there for convenience. So if I need something while I'm making dinner and forgot, it's just down the hill from me. It's kind of a staple in the town. I've been going here for 12 years now.
