This is Property Connections on 19th street with all the bad reviews. I applied for a home and I previously rented with them with good payment history and history. Not one call back. Did I get approved? Not? It's been a month. Since I needed a place fast due to owner selling my home, I just applied elsewhere. I tried to get a response-nothing! Had to move on. This showed me they haven't changed. What a lame business. George, DO BETTER! Fire your daughter if she can't keep up. Her personal life is more important than your business.

Alicia and Jessica are awesome at their jobs. the grounds are always clean and they host holiday events for everyone to come and enjoy. It's a gated apartment which has cameras and security. Their maintenance staff are pretty quick to fix issues. Overall this is probably the best apartment I've lived in gives you a really homey feeling.

The apartments were sold to a different company a few moths ago, so I thought we would get new management and it would get better... wrong again! I will say the new on-site manager was much nicer than Mary Anne, but the company itself really needs to get their stuff together! Before we moved out mid July, we asked for a walk through so we could know what we needed to fix before we left in order for us to get as much of our deposit as possible. We made an appointment for 9 in the morning, and by 11 no one had shown up still! I called the TRG management office, and they said someone would show up soon.... I had to go to the on-site manager, and she had no clue what was going on. She was able to give me a walk through later that day, and was surprised at how clean we had kept the apartment, after realizing that we had moved in with the apartment being a complete mess! (Dead roaches in the kitchen, spiders and webs in the showers, stains all over the carpet.) About 2 weeks later we finally had our move out day.... we moved all our stuff out... and I think it is safe to say we left the apartment much cleaner than when we first got it! We were supposed to get a letter in the mail about two weeks later, sent to the forwarding address I had put down on the paperwork, but of course I didn't get anything. Turns out they claimed that they "didn't have a forwarding address" and they sent it to the bear creek apartments. Hello? Did they not realize we had moved out?! After never receiving our deposit back (way past the 21 days), many calls, and leaving many unanswered messages, we were finally told that WE owed them about 200 dollars! They claimed it was for paint repairs, cleaning, and other stuff... thankfully we took before a day after pictures of the way the apartment was when we received it and how we left it. We must have not left the apartment. In as bad of a condition as they claimed, because not long after we left someone else was already living there! I can assure you we didn't owe them anything, and if anything we left the apartment in better condition than when we first got it! The lady who supposedly cleans, really doesn't do anything. And if anything else we did her job for her! Thankfully we were able to get our FULL deposit back... but it only took about a month of calls and headaches, not to mention the drive from LA to Merced! My advice to you: Stay away!!! Stay away from Bear creek apartments, and stay away from TRG as a whole! Unless you want to live in old run down apartments and have your money stolen from you! Don't let the cheap prices fool you, they're cheap for a reason!

My bf & I have no family up here so it was stressful trying to find a house as well as relocate our dog for a while back to LA...It was a notice of our dog barking from a neighbor, however, every time we exited our apartment there were other dogs barking as well... but rules are rules. We would've appreciated a warning first. Anyways, we enjoyed living here since it was close to a lot of amenities in-shape, grocery stores, restaurants, hospital, etc., we lived in one of the "remodeled" apartments on the bottom floor. The cost was roughly around ~1,700 with a dog and other services that they charged like renters insurance, water, garbage, sewer. Living here throughout our time we rarely had maintenance issues only when we first moved in, the door was jacked up, and the deadbolt literally fell off leading us to call the emergency number, that was our only emergency call we performed throughout our stay. Maintenance is okay, we appreciate that they have an option to schedule a time so you could be present during maintenance; or not. The apartment complex is fairly quiet at night, cute little dog park on our side (Silverhorn ave), garbage would pile up on the quickness, laundry rooms were okay, at times they were closed, under repair, or occupied. Also, never had a pest problem here which are bonus points! The office staff are approachable yet professional, Courtney the property manager is very attentive, and answered all our questions we had. However, only downside was the cleaning/carpet fees when we moved it; which totaled ~$400 for cleaning fees & ~$250 for carpet cleaning for 2bd and we really cleaned it up literally looking like when we just moved in. Overall, My bf and I loved living here and it's honestly located in a nice area with so many things around.

My daughter applied and paid 40 app fee only to be denied. After working 4 years at the same job…read more as a Security guard and lived out a one year Lease in San Jose always on time and a car payment always on time. Now she wants to move to Merced only to be denied . She gave her notice and has no home to go to in 30 days I know she will get a home soon . The time that Northwood village took denying her and the $40 application fee took 3 or 4 days and a drive from Bay Area only to be denied. It's sad discriminatory against a hard working single woman that works overtime and sometimes a second job To make a living. I wouldn't recommend even considering paying or putting an application up on this place waste of money and Time! Thank you Northwood village!
