They do a good job in making sure everyone is following safety procedures while at the gun range. To use a lane at the range is about $20 and you can bring your own ammo or purchase it at the store. I also went to the beginner's gun course that this store offers for $99. It was a good introduction to handguns and goes over the basics on how to fire a gun. They also offer concealed carry classes as well as others.

What I like about it: 1- The range officer is always present and never leaves anyone on the shooting line alone. Safety is the highest priority and it shows. I've had to ask for help before and have never been made to feel less than or dumb for not being comfortable doing something (in this case it was clearing an ammunition double feed). The range has up to date technology and is clean and well maintained. 2- The staff in the retail area are very knowledgable. They won't tell you what to buy but if you describe the characteristics of what you're looking for, they can help you narrow down some options. They encourage you to hold and handle as many as you'd like and I e never felt rushed. 3- There's a pretty large selections of firearms available for rent. The ability to try a firearm out really helps when making a costly investment. You can also rent the safety equipment and purchase range ammunition and targets. 4- The price for both daily range use and/or membership is reasonable. They have a nice discount for military members. If you go for a membership you can bring two guests for free per year. My personal wish list: 1- One-on-one training/classes with instructors for those who would like to work on skills beyond the basic firearm safety/concealed carry class that is offered. Other topics (like marksmanship, home defense, etc) would be great too. 2- Would love to see a female behind the retail desk and/or on the range. (Sorry if they have one and I just haven't spotted her yet!) The gentlemen are great, but sometimes a lady just wants another female perspective when talking about firearms as they pertain to women. 3- That's pretty much it. I'll update the list as new come to me.

I go into GT Distributors November 2024 and I purchase a Sig P365 X-Macro. I wait the 3 days i pick up smooth process. So, I go on buds gun shop and I order an AR Pistol next and send it to GT Distributors who I asked prior to sending it if it was ok and they said yes. Okay now here is where it gets messed up. My order arrived but I was a little nervous because Buds gunshop used an old phone number and address on the piece of paper they put in the box even though I changed all of it (because i moved) to the correct stuff before ordering. So, I didnt think it would be a big deal I called GT Distributors once I saw it was delivered. The woman on the phone says to me "Sir, you're solid. Just go in if no one has called you yet. We charge 25 dollars to expedite putting your firearm in the system and you can literally just come in when you see it delivered pay 25 for the expedite and then the FFL transfer fee and we will get you squared away" I go in and im told something completely different and im made aware that Orange Park GT Distributors doesnt answer their own phones its some person in like Kentucky or something. So, instead of being difficult I left and waited until like 7pm and I called the number back so I could give GT Distributors customer service a hard time because I was a bit pissed i wasted and hour of my time and gas for nothing but i was in no way upset with orange park facility. The woman put me on hold and I guess called orange park and she talked to i forget his name but hes a manager white hair white beard kind salt and pepper and a little shorter but a complete asshole. She gets back on the phone and says "Sir, You're all set you can go in tomorrow and pick up your firearm" I asked her if i would be good because i didnt want to have a bad repore and i wasnt upset with orange park and she says "Our job is to sell firearms and transfers no one is upset with you for calling" So, I am like oh heck yeah this is going to be easier than i thought. I go in the next day NOW that guy I mentioned before he Starts SCREAMING at me infront of customers threatening to return my firearm and telling me he doesnt care what the people on the phone said. He also tried saying the lady on the phone said i was running my mouth and then i told him i dont understand why youre yelling at me infront of customers and we can call her right now and if i wanted to be actually difficult with you i would of called them from the parkinglot when you turned me away the day prior for the miscommunication of information. He chilled out and then let me do my FFL stuff but my point being is this place gives me anxiety. I tell EVERY single person from on target sports to basics gun and range all their employees and members i meet about that experience with GT Distributors and its wild because everyone always knows who im talking about. I wana say the dudes name was Mark but dont hold me to it. People also say when i mention what happend that if you arent a LEO they pretty much dont want your business. I am a COMBAT Veteran 10th Mountain Division and did 1 combat deployment and 1 gucci deployment i say that to say F OFFF!!!! Ill never shop there and im going to run my mouth to every single person i meet about your location. I think what could fix it is retraining the manager because no matter what the customer is always right and he is from a generation that should understand that. I think they also need to be the ones answering their own phones. Everyone else there seemed really cool and the person who checked me out after cock boy yelled at me was really cool. I want to say the managers name was Mark so if it were me id avoid them. They have good stock but On Target Sports is right down the road from them and have a bigger selection and are super cool and Basics Guns & Range will start your 3 day wait from the day you made your order on buds gun shop and not from the day you finally get to go in and do the paperwork. Both better more stand up organizations that GT Distributors!

Wish I could leave negative stars. My history goes back a couple years with this place and none of…read moreit is good. Brought a silencer from this place a couple years ago. Paid in full up front as is their policy. It took them over a month to submit all of the paperwork to the ATF. When I asked about it, they guy at the counter gets pissed and hangs up on me. The owner (Preston) later told me the guy was fired for said behavior. I go back in a month ago, surprise, he's still there. Fast forward to the current issue. Took my rifle and silencer to the range, at the end of the day, the silencer is carbon locked on the rifle and I can't get it off. I drop it off at RR and was told it should be a day or two for them to hit it with penetrating oil and a little heat to get it apart. A week goes by, nothing. Then two weeks, nothing. So I call...and call...and call. No answer, no returned calls after leaving voicemail. This forces me to drive 15 miles to the store front to get a simple status update. Big surprise it's not done. They offer an excuse that Preston isn't there to work on it. Come to find out, Preston has a real job and this is apparently a side project. They had my rifle over a month and the work was not done. A MONTH. So let's recap - terrible customer service, no accountability for their employees, owner is never there because he has a day-job, they never pick up the phone or return calls, work is not done in a timely manner. In conclusion, avoid this place like the plague. I will not do business with RR ever again. UPDATE - In classic form, Preston spent more time attempting to damage control a negative review than he did actually doing his job working on paid work. This was a straight forward end cap removal that, true to past experience, this place still couldn't get right. Preston even threatened to "pass along the encounter to neighboring shops". I recommend that he do just that - I'm quite certain any other shop will be more than willing to take my money and actually work. In fact, I took my business to a neighboring shop, 20 minutes later the issue was fixed and I was shooting with the silencer the same afternoon. I do stand corrected, it was ALMOST a month, since we are splitting hairs. Whether a month or a few days short, plenty of time to remove an end cap. However, if you count telling your staff that they are too lazy and shiftless to answer the phone, which forced me to drive nearly 20 miles to ask a simple question as "aggressive"...whatever floats your boat. It's funny how they gaslight, lie, and make the customer out to be the problem. Let's be honest, this shop doesn't do the kind of volume it takes to just ignore every phone call that comes in, they're just lazy. Good luck with your real job - because you're NOT a real firearms dealer. Nothing more than a hole in the wall that thrives on deceptive practices and lack of accountability. I recommend going to an actual FFL/Firearms dealer.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR GUN HERE FOR REPAIR. My veteran father took his Colt 45 revolver here for repair,…read moreafter months of waiting, he had to jump through hoops to get the gun back with the repair not being completed and in worst shape than when it was dropped off (hammer no longer goes back). They remove guns from the business to take elsewhere to be repaired, which is on more reason it took forever to get the gun back. Very shady, other positive reviews are left by their employees. An honest busy would not need to leave themselves positive reviews. My dad is still working to receive a refund for the work not completed.
