I've been looking for a place to get my watch battery replaced that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Most places here, even Walmart refuses to touch expensive brands. Have a antique clock I took to him, he was able to fix it. But, when I brought it home would not run. Took the clock back several times, each time same thing. Get it home doesn't run. Finally took it someplace else. Was told needed to be rebuilt again! I paid $450.00 to Sandmark to repair the clock, and now have to pay another $500.00 to someone else to get the clock to run!! Think Sandmark needs to refund me my money, because the clock has NEVER run. Also, took a watch to him, he fixed it to run, but doesn't run correctly. I went in to get a battery replaced for my tag diving watch. The cost for a battery,seal and pressure test was half of the shop I normally use. Watch quit working after a week. I was then told that there was a battery leak and I needed a new circuitboard at a cost of $235. I was surprised that the battery leak was not noticed when the battery was replaced so I took it to my normal repair shop. Was told there was no battery leak did not need the circuitboard they tested the battery that was put in which was weak. Replace the battery. It is now working fine. I will not goBack to this place. Think they were trying to rip me off for $235 on top of the $42 I already paid for battery replacement. read more

Took a watch in to replace the crystal. After multiple messages left, no call back. I drove the 15 miles only to be told it would be ready the next day. Went back, still not ready. Was told they didn't have the correct crystal, but had one that 'should' work. Would put it in and have it ready the next day. When I returned to pick it up, was told that he had to 'grind down' the crystal to get it to fit, but it did. Was told That it no longer was water resistant, that there was a leak, and if water got in to bring it back right away, and they would fix it. After going home, when I put the watch on I noticed the movement was making a loud grinding noise - they had to have noticed it, but said nothing. I called, and took it back the next day, he said he'd oil it. Still grinding. Had him put the old crystal back in, and told him I would be sending it to Seiko to fix. it's still making the noise. He acted like they had nothing to do with it. He then Went on to talk about how many years they have been in business, and how they fix anything they break. Awful...He returned my mantel clock and said it was repaired. Took my money. It worked less than a day. I returned it to him and asked him to really repair since I already paid him a lot of money. 4 months later i still did not have my clock back. I finally said I wanted a refund. Another month later after many excuses he returned my clock said it was fixed. Again, it worked less than one day. He wants to take it away again and work on it. No way. I do not trust him. I was looking for a watch repair facility close to our condo in the Regency area. We found Sandmark-Chacon nearby, we went there to get a new Capacitor in my Seiko Kinetic watch. Before going to the expense of replacing the capacitor, Mr. Chacon tested the watch to see if perhaps another issue was causing the problem. When the watch was opened they found a different problem that was easily and inexpensively solved. I mentioned that I tried to call them before coming. He explained that they had been waiting several days for phone repair technicians and that they had no phone or internet service for some time.
