Great day to be defrauded by Mazda at the Avenues!…read more I first came in to purchase a vehicle from Mazda at the avenues and was told to meet with Rene. When I showed up I was introduced to Drew, Drew was a nice guy and I already knew what car I was buying so the buying process was super smooth. Until I got home and realized they had "Forgotten" to deduct the cost of my trade in from the loan. I went in and spoke with Clayton the sales manager and he told me "it'll be easier if we just cut you a check than if you have to redo all your paperwork". So I left. The check never arrived. I called back in, and now suddenly mailing me a check isn't an option anymore, they want me to come in and redo my paperwork. So I did on 6/15/26, and left after being told that in the next 48 hours they would cancel the incorrectly prepared loan and replace it with the correct reduced loan. Instead the dealership fired Jimmy, the finance manager who had signed my corrected paperwork, out of retaliation for correcting my paperwork. They fired him before he could upload my corrected loan. Jimmy was replaced by some guy named Jason who seems to have difficulty uploading files to Mazda Finance. Now Jason is giving me the run around and ducking my calls. It is now 7/20/2026 and I have heard no word about remedy, I've requested that the correct loan docs be sent again via e-sign, since apparently I need to sign these a third time, and have heard nothing back. I'm writing this while on hold with Mazda Finance to file my fraud claim. Thought I'd step away from Hondas for the first time in a decade, and man if I couldn't have picked a slimier dealership.

Auto Line offered Allstate extended warranties which I wanted. They took my worn-out trade-in and offered a fair price according to KBB, plus handled the transfer of tags so I didn't have to sit in the DMV. Love that! The reason they didn't get 5 stars is that damn "Dealer fee". Arguing that it is one of the lowest doesn't make it right. It is just extra profit and I wish all dealers would just admit that they take advantage of the public by charging it. It was $689.50 or about 8% of the cost of the used car I bought. My father went in to inquire about a recall on his vehicle. He does not speak English fluently and was doing his best to explain his question. Instead of assisting him professionally, Darren responded in a rude and condescending tone, including saying, "Was that a question or a statement?" Rather than clarifying or asking follow-up questions, he appeared impatient and dismissive, seemingly more concerned and focused on his computer or whatever else he was doing than on helping my father. When I joined via FaceTime to help translate and explain the situation, I was initially told he did not need to speak to me. Although he eventually listened, his tone remained condescending while explaining that there would be a diagnostic fee unless covered under warranty. I made it clear that I understood and the issue was not the fee, it was the lack of respect. When we asked for availability, he began to provide dates. However, after requesting his business card and his manager's contact information, his demeanor changed. He provided his card but did not give manager information. Only after I directly addressed his behavior and stated that he was being rude and disrespectful did his attitude shift and he became apologetic and willing to schedule the appointment. Respect should not be conditional upon confrontation. No customer, especially someone navigating a language barrier, should be treated in a dismissive or condescending manner. The interaction felt unprofessional and discriminatory. If this is the representation of Mazda then, it's best to go elsewhere. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures all customers are treated with professionalism and respect.
