Ohmygosh. The World is so crazy all over…read more The other day Hubby & I were at Grocery champ next door & decided to pop into this store for the first time. We looked around, we thought it was very cool, kinda like a big lots. Hubby found a super fun pair of sunglasses he loves & moi found this clear plastic shower brush that I LOVE LOVE LOVE for less than $2 bucks. Then, couple days later, I told hubby next time we go to Grocery Champ remind me to pick up another one of the clear plastic brushes from that Roses Express store that I LOVE so much just so I will have a back up one. Anyhoo, we go over there & some crazy person tried to burn it down at 3am. The whole front of the store was burned & it was closed. Today, we go there to see if it's open again. They are having a "Sidewalk Fire Sale" bc all the inventory in the store smells like smoke. I was not able to get another brush, however, they told us that they will be open again, inside, in about a month & I can get one then. Hopefully. Will return to update.

I find a good selection and…read moreprices, I don't have to walk all over tarnation like in Walmart, and a friendly cashier rings up my purchases unlike Walmart. Sadly, though, I can't shop there anymore, because vagrants have started harassing us in the parking lot every time we go there. The last one was a doozy with the gift of gab who had to tell us his life story and even broke out in song oblivious, and really disrespectful, of our commitments, obligations, and responsibilities. It is surprising that the store managers in this shopping center, especially Roses, are tolerating this, as it is my understanding that one of these vagrants started the fire at the store a few months ago that forced it to shut down temporarily. But it is what it is.

While I thought I found what bag with, I was unable to tell because they were taped shut do I hoped for the best. Along the way, I came across very cute sandals, some habanero mango chips & a couple stuffed animals for my dog Lexi. I don't know why I forget that they have a great section for animals! They also make returns super easy as I ended up returning my affirmation cards - they were close to what I'm looking for but not quite right. I look forward to returning to returning to Marshalls for everything on sale!

They also have a great baby section. It's a family owned business that's been around forever, it has that homey cottage feel to it. One of my favorite places to shop at!
