Beall's Outlet - Can't go wrong with a lobster shirt - Department Stores Near Me - Key Largo, Florida

Every trip down to the keys we always squeeze in a stop here at Beall's Outlet. We have found several great buys of things we needed and some things we didn't need. Located in what used to be K-Mart Plaza, there is plenty of parking available. A Publix now occupies the old K-Mart and there is now a Burlington and TJ Max sharing the plaza. This Beall's is very large and well stocked with clothing, shoes, luggage, health and beauty and gadgets. Holiday seasonal decorations and related gadgets are also featured. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The store is organized and kept clean. We will continue to stop in on our Keys adventures! read more

We've stopped here many times over the years. Once a long time ago, I forgot to bring my bathing suit with me (!) and I wanted something inexpensive to get me through the weekend. We used to come here after visiting the (former) K mart in the same plaza. That K mart was one of the few still in existence and had some unique items. The "outlet" store has expanded since we were there last. It's now twice the size. They have a little bit of everything. In addition to clothes and accessories, they have cosmetics, jewelry, shoes. and housewares. I always find something here. The clothes aren't my style, but in the past I've bought makeup and other miscellaneous stuff. I was looking for new sunglasses, but wound up buying a bracelet. Too funny. Marathon location not as stocked as Key LARGO. Found several things for my husband not so lucky for myself this time.

The days of scoring some great items here seem over. The men's and women's stores are separate. The men's always had home goods and pet items. Wow. The shelves were bare. Both stores were not well stocked. Always at this time of year, they get tons of swim suits. The men's had lots of trunks. The women's mostly had granny suits. There were only a few 2 piece suits compared to hundreds in past years. I was also looking for dry fit tops or shorts for a hiking trip. It was almost like looking through racks at a flea market. Lots of empty space between items on hangers. I did find a nice blue Columbia Wear dry fit t shirt for $12.99, in my size. Good thing, as there wasn't another. Sad to see such reduced stock here. Great outlet store in the Publix/Kmart center. The mens and home are in one store, and the womens and children are 2 stores down. It's not huge, but they have a surprising amount of stuff for decent prices. Employees have always been nice to me and helpful. They've got lots of good Columbia gear. read more

I love the new upgrade! This is a much needed store in the upper keys... No place else to get what they stock without going to Homestead.

Great discount store in Key Largo. If you've never been to a Beall's or Beall's outlet...this location is comparable to Ross, but much smaller. Lots of name brand items at great prices. Be sure to check out clearance - there are treasures to be found at discounts you wouldn't believe! I go to Beall's quite often and I've found lots of stuff in clearance for under $2. Clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty items - they've got it all. There are two Beall's in Tradewinds Plaza; one carries women's and kid's items, the other carries men's and home goods. Worth checking out if you like hunting for treasures at discount stores. read more

Honestly, this is place is freaking lifesaver. It's not a glamorous department store in any sense but if you forgot your bathing suit or happen to need a last minute item for anything-it's one of the best quick and cheap stores to pick up any last minute item that you left behind or need to replace. The sunglasses used to be better but I have hope I'll get luckier on another day. Purses, loose dresses, shoes, random shirts, or even a pair of jeans are easy to pick out here. Not everything is cute but there's some nice stuff hidden in the racks. The bathing suits don't have much variety but they have just enough to get you in that boat quickly when you don't have time to spare. For some reason, there's a lot of hair bows for little girls but they're kinda cute so I'm not opposed to it. It's right in the Tradewinds Shopping center which is pretty unavoidable in the northern keys as a main stop for food, groceries, liquor, and even a library. It's a great quick store to visit. Don't knock it until you try it. read more

So very disappointed in this location. The staff and management are lax. When I shopped in here today the store was a mess with items out of place and a basket on the floor near the entrance which was a real trip hazard. Employees were chatting away in the back. This store is messy and unloved by its management. I found many items left on the floor carts in the aisle where they had been left. Low standards are apparent. No interaction with any employees but they seemed to just be putting in their time. I have been in other Beall's Outlets but this one is not good. No complaints on the stock as I was able to find some clothes I needed. Beall's needs to get its act together in this location. read more

If you have ever been to TJ Maxx then this is the equivalent to that. Wouldn't make this a place to stop if you are in need of clothes.

The girls that work here are fine for the most part, but the manager (an old lady with gray hair) seems really abusive and awful to be around, and I can see that they are frustrated due to the way they are treated. Overall the quality of the merchandise is hit or miss, and lately they seem really empty, like they are going out of business. read more
