I instantly fell in love with this adorable botique! The owner, Susan is so sweet! She was so cordial and welcoming, made us feel very at home. You won't get that stuffy feeling where you feel uncomfortable just browsing around. The merchandise is gorgeous! Wish I had an endless bank account - I could have easily went on a shopping spree here! The clothing items, clocks, and children's section all have wonderful offerings. It has a little bit of everything -- more jewelry and clothes and souvenirs than shells. How they can keep track of the inventory is daunting. Some of the prices are exceedingly high, but I guess it's cause it is a tourist area and they can get away with it. People on vacation are willing to pay more and the international tourists don't know any better. Yet, mixed in are some decent buys like the key lime juice and the Tortuga rum cakes and some cheapie bracelets. I walked the entire store -- it's about a block long with several check out counters. I got my exercise for the day. I'm not sure I'd recommend this place but you never know. You can certainly price check items to see how they stack up against other stores or you might just find the perfect souvenir of your trip.
