Hadn't been here since February. This evening the mall was wonderful! It had a comfortable crowd. Everyone was wearing a mask, even Santa. Everyone looked nice. People were carrying shopping bags. Being here felt normal. This was a Tuesday evening around 6:30-7:30 before Christmas. Our son had come during the day and told us to go here. We walked both floors and through the department stores. Saks is closed at the mall entrance on both floors. You enter through the parking lot doors. Some stores front were empty and we saw a few new stores. Some stores had moved to new locations within the mall. We liked seeing the decorations and I took some pictures. Everything was nice.

Not as mean as the B*tchwood Mall, and not as popular with Forrest Gump as the Benchwood Mall, this mall is pretty cool nonetheless. It's a pretty large and impressive Mall in the suburbs of Cleveland. I spent a good four hours exploring every inch of it on foot with my favorite northeastern Ohio princess. She already knows this Mall pretty well, but for me it was at first. The Bubble Tea was a highlight even though it wasn't that good (lol) and then it had the same old shops that you would expect plus a few little independently owned surprises (speaking of surprises, hey girl). Parking was not too bad compared to some malls but then this is Cleveland and it's not exactly the most fashionable City, even though it is one of the best cities for food in the country. Yes I'm serious. Anyway, nothing here made me sick enough to justify the name Barfwood Mall, but they also don't have any orchestra performances here, otherwise it might be the Bachwood Mall.

This is my second favorite mall in Cleveland. Awesome fountains, great selection. Need I say more?

Nice place to sit outside of Nordstrom

The mall itself during the week day is a vibe, but during the weekend that's something different.

It's upscale, stylish, and totally curated for people who love the finer things -- or at least love to browse them. The vibe is sophisticated. Think luxury boutiques, designer brands, and trendy spots mixed in with some cozy, high-end local shops. It's not your average mall. Inside you can find a few restaurants, cafes, bookstore, lots of nail/spa places, and a few boutiques. There's really not a lot of stores inside. Dining-wise, Eton definitely delivers. Whether you're grabbing a coffee from Starbucks, indulging in Pacific East Sushi, the food options are really good. My favorite is Agave & Rye that has really good margs and very eclectic interior. Trader Joe's is also nearby if you feel like shopping. Parking can be a little tricky during peak times even despite there being a lot of open parking. There's also valet available. There is some active construction going on in the parking lots, so watch the signs for valet. This shopping center is part of DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) meaning that you can browse and shop with a cocktail in hand. There's only a handful of participating DORA restaurants, so research before you go. There is an ATM in the lobby at one of the entrances. There are multiple entrances into this shopping center. Remember where you parked! Downsides? Prices match the vibe, don't expect many bargains. But if you're into curated shops and a dash of luxury, visit this location.

It appears to be a clean shopping centre, from the outside. APPLE STORE: At this mall, I only went to the Apple store so I haven't been to the inside of this shopping centre. I visited Apple to inquire about upgrading my iPhone 11 to a newer phone. My iPhone 11 was given to me for free by a friend but the screen had dropped many times that there were now black spots on it. The male employee who assisted me was friendly; however, he wasn't as proactive in helping me. I had to ask him a lot of questions. He also didn't know some things which is fine because he asked a manager. Also, Apple, at that time, had very few deals on trading in old phones to get a new phone, so I left. Granted, my iPhone 11, had a badly cracked front screen (LOL). I then went to a local Verizon store where I was able to surprisingly get the brand new iPhone (the iPhone 16) at $830 off just for trading in my old phone. So, if you are looking for a new iPhone, Verizon is currently accepting any old phone, at any condition, as a trade-in offer. So, you'll get the new cell phone paid off in 2 years - Verizon will take money off your bill every month until the phone is paid off. I still got to keep my regular monthly bill and infact, my new plan is now cheaper with a new phone because I did not add the Verizon insurance because I eventually added AppleCare+ to my phone incase of any accidental damage or theft/loss. I also have an extra $5 or $10 off my Verizon bill for already having auto-pay. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to come explore this shopping centre but for now, a 3-star review is fair. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 121/150 total reviews in 2024 - 770 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 8 December 2024

And I do not make high-end money. Great examples of the best of East Coast fashion...fairly subdued, and lots of black/white/grey. Which is golden for me, since I'm not the dude who can be thrown into a closet full of color and come out anything short of a disaster. And it's the home base of Cleveland-based fashion line "Wrath Arcane" which I've really developed a serious fetish for. I've managed to score a pair of their jeans and a scoodie so far. What the hell is a "scoodie", you ask? It's a scarf. With a hood. Hell yeah. I love the damn thing. Dan is the man at Brigade, and he's pretty much always the dude behind the counter. A solid guy, knows his stuff, and treats you like his bestest buddy from the moment you walk in the door. I've caught Brian O'Neill (owner) in there once or twice and he's a sterling dude. Great people, great clothes, and great service. Hell, when you buy something they wrap it up and carry it to the door for you! Made me feel all special. Like I was buying jeans in First Class or something.
