Great deals and prices on brand new things. Be sure to come early on Fridays. Lines tend to be long before it opens, but it's worth it.

Northcoast Hotel Liquidation Specialists - Outside - 23 May 2020

Northcoast Hotel Liquidation Specialists

WOW, what a hidden gem! I'm glad that I found out about Northcoast Hotel Liquidators. This is a big…read morewarehouse of used furniture. BUSINESS MODEL -- They buy furniture from hotels that are renovating or hotels that are closing down. ITEMS -- They have loads of sofa beds, sofas/couches without pullout beds, small lounge chairs, beds, TV's, lamps, mirrors, picture frames, kitchen bowls, desks, side tables, and much more. Due to thr nature of the furniture (USED), some of them are worn out and old but still in good enough shape. PRICE -- The items here are affordable foe those on a low budget or just those who don't want to pay full price. SERVICE -- Customer service was excellent when I visited. One gentleman helped me look around the sofa's. I ended up not buying anything because the red sofa that I wanted was a sofa bed so it would have been heavy to carry up to my apartment. They offer DELIVERY for $50 but will only deliver to your front door not inside your house because of the Coronavirus. Overall, I had a great experience here and I'll continue to check out their website for deals and 'new' sofas that will be added to their inventory. **** - 26/200 total reviews in 2020 - 402 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 23 May 2020

I may be biased because the last hotel furniture liquidator I visited before this was in Chicago, where the scale is understandably so much bigger. Noethcoast is definitely worth a visit, though.

I decided to shop around locally. When we entered, we were greeted by Tom. He was very friendly and professional. He didn't try to sell us anything over the top. We chose this behemoth. It has everything we wanted. It is a tad too big for my living room, but that's ok. I'm willing to sacrifice a little more space for comfort. Altogether, it cost me $2,700. That included couch, delivery & assembly, 5 year protection/replacement, and they hauled the old couch to the curb. My only gripe is I feel for the extra $200 they should offer to haul away the old furniture, especially since bulk pickup is only available certain days of the month, and if it's placed at the curb too early, you can get fined.

Walked into the OUTLET store on a Saturday in December 2024 and it was busier than I thought it…read morewould be, but then furniture year end sales are in place. I started down the rocker recliner aisle, cause I was looking for a loveseat. I was chased down the aisle by Tom, who I didn't hear, but who worked with me, helped me, explained MUCH and told me that he'd been with this place since KronHeims and somebody else too and he was over 80 and pretty much had decades of experience. I told him what I was looking for. And I was very specific in my needs. He showed me a couple options and he was right on the money. I got it down to three choices and then down to two choices and I eventually bought a loveseat AND a rocker recliner that day and put it on my credit card. within a half hour Ellen the office manager was calling me because she wanted to verify my address. It was smudged or illegible on her original. I was still in the car and I pulled mine out and my COPY was perfectly legible. But there was no phone number listed, they never asked. If there were no phone numbers listed, how did she call ? first thing Monday morning I called Ellen at the Brook Park store outlet to talk to her about our conversation on Saturday after she called me and I said there's no phone number on the Order, how is it You got my phone number? She ah and umm'd four times during our conversation because she had no idea how anybody got my private unlisted Phone number so I called her on it and she said well. The salesmen have a tool. I want to know what the name of the tool. She didn't know the name of the tool - the office manager did not know the name of the tool? I am angry. I am upset and I'm close to canceling my order at this very moment and it's Monday Delivery eventually arrived date asked for in early January but the delivery guys would NOT take my old sofa out as i had asked for cuz there's no where to put it here. Went back to store on Wednesday, spoke with Tom, spoke with STORE Manager and asked for a repair on rocker recliner. The repair was scheduled. The repair person was exceptional --came in diagnosed. The problem said he'd be back in a few weeks when the part came in --this company is exceptional. He came back in three weeks to fix both my recliner and my loveseat because they both had the same issue and left for the day. It is now more than six months later and these two pieces are already showing where they are very extremely cheaply made pieces and I'm not exactly happy that I pay $1200 for this junk. 20 years ago I bought five pieces of furniture for under $3000 . All were oversize pieces all quality leather and there was nothing wrong with them when I gave them away. So the quality of manufacturing has gone down extremely and i surely am seeing it. And now it nine months after my purchase, I have never ever heard from any of them to check how my delivery went, to check how my furniture was, to check how my repair went to check how I liked my furniture. These brothers may be funny on TV, but they're not anywhere NEAR what KRONHEIMS USED TO DO FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS AND WHAT BASISTA DID FOR THEIRS. This junk will most likely be replace in the next year AGAIN, not keeping this for the 20 years i thought i might. Not buying from this company again. They got my money and disappeared. VERY UNHAPPY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER. and they dont even LOOK AT YELP TO SEE WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY

The Fairview Park shop is a nice combination of clothes and some great bric a brac. Located in a medium sized plaza the Discovery Shop is also medium sized, always clean and well organized and you can find some great finds. Each week they have a 50% off color and the last weekend of the month everything in the store is 50% off. At this store I have found some really good clothes finds, especially on the men's clearance rack where the cost is $1 per item. I have found suit jackets, shirts and pants, while the men's selection is not large, what they have is usually very good and high quality. I have noticed that this store has a much larger selection of women's clothes. The store usually has a nice small selection of dishes, kitchenware and art; they do have some really interesting items up near the register, they often have some pieces from Europe, Asia and Africa. The selection seems to change everytime I have visited, nothing seems to last long at this shop. As an example I found a really nice leather motorcycle bag for under $10. The Fairview Park Discovery Shop is a fun and diverse place to do some thrifting; not the biggest store, but they really do a great job of making sure that they are selling high quality items at great prices. Not the kind of thrift store you are going to spend hours at, but well worth a visit whenever you are in the area to check out what they have. Plus the proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society which is a very worthwhile charity.

I love visiting here. The volunteers are always so friendly and welcoming. Prices are fair. I…read morealways find such great deals. Especially during the 50% off sales during the end of the month.
