I tried the biscuit sandwich, very good biscuit and big enough to share. I also ordered the biscuit gray plate with bacon crumbs on top. Ok good but way too much bacon for me kinda ruined the plate. This spot was BUSSIN'. In a short three day weekend trip to Pismo, my partner and I agreed to stop here twice for more of this dang buttery biscuits. Ooo and that sausage gravy... It's what they're known for apparently, and it makes sense. The biscuit isn't dry at all and the eggs are scrambled great (and I have a few conditions with eggs in restaurants, but I won't get into that now) and the sausage gravy wrapped it alllll together. The burrito was schmakin' too though, I would've got it again if my partner's Pismo Pier wasn't so dang good that first time around. Well done biscuits and gravy is my thing, and I was stoked to find a biscuit breakfast spot near our hotel during our vacation. The honey ordered a Gnarly (and folks, they are gnarly, so make sure you have space), while I ordered a Pirates Cove as well as a plain biscuit with in-house made jam. When I say Beachin' Biscuits probably has the best biscuits I've ever had, I mean it. We've tried Biscuit Bitch in Washington, Pine State Biscuits in Oregon, and Denver Biscuit Co in Colorado and Beachin' Biscuits tops all three. The biscuits were super fluffy and light - perfect with the homemade jam, and the sausage gravy was amazing, not too overpowering or rich. The portions are a bit large, but I don't think most people mind that these days and the service was friendly and prompt. All in all, we absolutely adored our food and would come back in an instant. Early morning roaming the central California coast and needed a good stick to your ribs biscuits. Beachin Biscuit was our chouce and the cute building with out front dining was hoppin. In Pismo Beach, the small line with excited local patrons moved quickly. We found a table and waited for our order. BB is a family friendly establishment and a solid business of take out orders. The morning temperature and weather was a bit cool and slightly overcast, perfect. We ordered a single biscuit with gravy and My Ginger Girlfriend, a single biscuit with sausage and honey butter. They arrived steamy and hot. These biscuits are tall, fluffy, moist and incredibly light. The single biscuit and gravy was huge, I should of shared it. The biscuit was tall and coated with delicious sausage gravy. It was well constructed and had great flavor. My only comment is their biscuits are twice as tall as a normal biscuit and you may need more gravy as the second bite is only biscuit, no gravy. The My Ginger Girlfriend breakfast sausage was spot on and needed a bit more honey butter for which they were happy to dispense. A very good choice for a morning breakfast in Pismo Beach. The setting is relaxed, family friendly and the food fills you up for a long day at the beach. The servings are large and reasonably price. Do yourself a solid a visit this Pismo Beach treasure. If you're a biscuit fan, this is a must stop in Pismo. They have so many options and varieties, we went 2/3 days here. Our first day, Monday, we showed up around 9:30 AM and there was a short 3 group line ahead of us. It moved quickly and we were able to order. Our food came out in 10-15 minutes. The outdoor seating isn't too large but luckily another group got up and we were able to sit down. Breakfast sandwiches have multiple meat options, but they are additional. My daughter loved the strawberry roll up (basically strawberry jam inside a rolled up tortilla). The breakfast burritos are huge! More than enough to share or take home extras. Pro tip: On your walk/drive over, you can order through the website in advance to skip the line. You do have to go to the counter to tell them when you arrive. read more

There are a few free 3 hour parking spots on Cabrillo street which is a short walk away. We didn't really have a plan for breakfast, but we noticed how busy this spot was so decided to stop by! Tons of things on the menu. Line is pretty long but moves quickly. The only issue is space-- there are only 6 tables which left a lot of groups waiting around for others to get up and leave. Some guests were straight up asking others when they would be done eating and others would just stand and wait by the table. If you weren't aggressive about getting a table, you would end up waiting a lot longer for one. Hot coffee is self-serve and does get pretty crowded as well. The food, on the other had, was good! We got the Boogie Board Breakfast burrito and both portion and taste were great. Salsa was $1 per container. Both hot coffee and iced coffee (asked them to make it vanilla) were good. read more

Service - staff was ok. Not mean, not friendly. The only interaction we had when we told staff we were there to pick up. A smile would've made all the difference. Ordering + pick up - I ordered online and requested utensils. Ordering online was fast and easy, and our order was ready on time. We picked up our food at the window. I was bummed to see there weren't any utensils in the bag. We went back to the counter only to find 1 set of plastic utensils left, so we used that. I do think that should be refilled throughout the day, and / or atleast tell me you've ran out when the order was given to us. This isn't a huge deal since we ate there, but it would've been pretty disappointing if we planned to eat on the beach and only to realize there's no utensils. Food- Really good. We got the Gnarly Biscuit Sandwich. I do think the gravy could've used a little more salt or something. Don't get me wrong, the gravy is still really good. If you get this, order some extra gravy on the side, you'll want it. The biscuit was doughy soft, and buttery. The breakfast sausage patty was my favorite part! Like DAMN. The order was pretty big so I split it with my husband, but he said he could've eaten it all by himself! We loved how everything went well with each other without being mushy. You'd think all this food would feel heavy in your stomach, but it didn't! Everything was extremely well priced. Drinks - We ordered 1 hot and 1 iced lavender latte each. We LOVED them! Ate breakfast a few weeks ago and the food was cold to lukewarm. Gravy doesn't taste great when it's not hot. We figured maybe they were very busy and food didn't get called out in time and maybe it sat for a bit. We decided to give another try and get biscuits to go. I am 5 minutes away so hot biscuits were expected but instead the biscuits were cold and already getting hard. A few mists of water and low temp in the microwave made them soft and hot. This shouldn't need to be done when buying fresh hot biscuits. I was raised on biscuits and gravy and the gravy is crappy, no flavor and cold. Grab a menu when you get in line so you can review it and be ready to go by the time you get to the counter because there's almost always a line.
