The store is small but has ton of art. I'm very particular with what I like, and it's hard to find, but to my amazement I was able to find a few original pieces on canvas. I had zero intentions on spending any money that day let alone that munch money for the month. I bought 4 pieces, had them stretched and framed. The pricing was affordable, and he had a ton of framing options. Those pieces decorated our guest room and dining room so I can say it was a win. The owner was the one who was helping us, and he was so nice. He clearly has a passion for art and was very knowledgeable in every aspect. From the works to the framing he was able to talk you through it. He even helped us bounce ideas of different frames that might look good in our space once we told him our vision. We had a whole conversation about how we just moved and they gave recommendations and get me signed up for special events at their shop (feels like it may be a way to meet new formers as we don't know anyone) they also just redid their event space which is so cute. I loved the wall color they chose and Sydney went absolutely above and baying and actually got me the paint color. How nice is that? Bajalia has lots of very unique items, some beautiful, some puzzling, and some avant garde/over my head, yet interesting. I've gotten several gorgeous bangles here, as well as an amazing ring from Turkey, and a super, super pretty scarf. The items change seasonally, so check back every couple months to see what's new. I loved what they had in the winter, but the summer items are a bit too neon and bright for me. Still, it's definitely worth checking out. Prices range throughout the store, but the err on the side of being a bit pricier than I'm accustomed to. Granted, I'm used to Claire's and Target pricing, which says pretty much nothing. They have several good sales throughout the year, and if you become a fan of their Facebook page and join the mailing list, you'll be alerted as to when these occur. The store is on the south end of Park Ave. by Tutti Frutti and near Rollins. It's similar to Ten Thousand Villages, but the items a bit more interesting and unique (and expensive). (By expensive I mean bangles can run anywhere from $5 to $60, and scarves are generally over $40, probably closer to $50 or $60. This is pretty standard for many items that are Fair Trade, and I think the quality here is higher than some other places I've seen, both in-store and online.)

As it turns out the owners Mark and Jena Miller who own M & F Fabrics, LLC, also own the Calico stores in Sarasota and Naples Florida. This store was poorly run and in response to months of attempts to find resolution all I received was an email stating this matter had been resolved without a signature. That's right no name was signed, I do not know who this email came from. In my opinion, this store treated me unfairly and the manager, Jasmine Ortiz behaved unprofessionally by telling me they would remake my valances for 4 months and then reneging. It is my opinion, that consumers should not do business with them.

Staff was super friendly and I was greeted throughout my entire store visit. I was offered help twice as well. I knew what I wanted and I grabbed a few things and checked out their clearance sections per usual. They do have some really great deals on summer toys right now at 40% off, which is very tempting given hot Florida days! Overall: A+ Out of the way from our house, but definitely worth a little bit of an extra hike for a great experience.

I would never buy anything full price decor wise unless I just HAD to have it because they run great sales consistently. Just give it a few weeks and you will get a sale. It doesn't matter what Hobby Lobby you go to when it comes to friendly service. I have always found someone to help me find something and the registers open quickly if there are more than three in the line.

She told me to come to her house right after she got back from vacation, and we immediately started planning how to make it work. She suggested adding a corset kit to make the alteration easier and more affordable for me, which was such a thoughtful solution. I brought her everything she needed the next day, and she finished the work the night before my elopement. Thanks to her, the dress fit beautifully, and I felt amazing on such an important day.
