When I lived in Atlanta I would have my eyebrows threaded. For about five years I was satisfied…read morewith what I was getting. After moving to Orlando two years ago and experiencing the frustrations of finding someone and then not getting what I wanted I gave up and switched to waxing. I gave it an honest try and tried to like it but it just never quite fit me. I even felt like I found a place that I could call my home to have my brows waxed but sadly, I just wasn't satisfied. Threading gives me the precise, neat, defined looked that I want my eyebrows to have. Threading has a tendency to hurt more than waxing but it's worth it especially if you find someone who doesn't have "heavy hand". (Heavy hand refers to the amount of pressure the threader applies.) My eyebrows look good and I don't have to use makeup to fill it in nor to create the shape I'm after. When I met Niki I explained my frustrations and she assured me that I was in good hands. I went over how I want them to look - cleaned up, full, and my natural shape left in place. I really don't like the artificial looking brows that's created when makeup is applied to it. I tried to like it but it's just not for me. Niki did great and I'm looking forward to going to back for all my threading needs. She also does Henna tattoo's whichd my daughter's had the pleasure of getting theirs done at the easter egg hunt on Saturday. They love it. I'm looking forward to getting mine soon.

I've had several pieces done by Zulay and she always manages to outdo herself. Typically I come with an idea in mind, express it to her and then allow her to interpret it/change it as she sees fit. This works beautifully for me, but if you want an exact replica done she can do that too. Her studio is inviting and relaxing with art work she has created lining the walls-- she does sell some pieces so if you're interested just ask. **She also does actual tattoos as well, but as a life long sufferer of aichmophobia (fear of needles) I haven't experienced her permanent ink services

I'm from New York and have been here a month so I was over due to get my brows cleaned but after a lot of research on instagram and yelp I decided to try brow wizard. When booking I chose to go with a senior artist named Samantha. When I arrived I was warmly greeted and she asked what I wanted to get done. I opted for a cleaning and tint because I already loved my shape. She quickly got to work and mapped out my brows and confirmed with me that I was happy with what she was going to remove. I left extremely happy with the shape and color! I will definitely be back whenever I'm in town.

So...given that I followed her here, to a location further away from my house, I suppose it is safe to say that I'm a fan of her work. This place benefits to have her. I was pleased to find that they offer the clients a reward system - after you receive a certain number of services you get a discount on your next service. This is a nice perk to now have access to. It is easy for me to make appointments as I am able to make contact directly. They accept cards and Zelle as forms of payment but note that the 2.5% credit card fee is passed on to the customer. Also, if you choose to pay via Zelle, you'll have to manually add on any desired tip amount unless you prefer to give your tech their tip in cash. Their prices are a little more than what I was paying previously so I made some slight modifications to what I usually get done. The facility is a good size with a good number of pedicure chairs and tech tables. There is one room for waxing and services that use or require privacy. The ambiance is calm, and the lighting is bright. I noticed that they did add a bit of Holdiay decor with each of the Fall holidays. The business is located in a small strip mall so there is a good amount of parking all around the building. Thus far, I've always been fortunate enough to find a parking spot near the entrance.

During my pedicure I said just clear. The tech went and got the clear gel didn't say it would be an extra charge- I did not ask for gel. 1- drying time didn't matter because I still had to do my nails. And 2- I didn't want none of the colors they had for my toes. I have Mooncat polish at home. Extra $5 for shaping my nails into almond. Honestly I was going to tip her the $10 because she put in so much work shaping my nails so they looked good. If you provide a service don't nickel and dime your customers. Why tip? You did not go above and beyond in our service. I had to tell you the drill hurt me twice. My hands were gritty was the powders and filing but you didn't instruct me to wash my hand during the service just put cutícula oils on my hands so I looked at them and pointed out my cuticle was lifting on my hand and you then cleaned them up. And was like your done. I went to my car to pour water on them, had powder all on my wrist.

Selected the $70 one with stones and paraffin etc. I felt this was pricy but the area probably allows it. It is 8/18 today and my feet still look like I didn't receive the pedicure. Lady tech ddnt speak English well. That is ok, But I was sure she understood I did not want gel again. Lady next to us translated my request. Stones were cold, lady warmed them up, and then burned my skin. I asked her to forget them. Kept telling her "no" with my hands. Our translator had left for the evening. This place does the nail polish b4 they do the pedicure. Never heard of that. They claim because of oils. Whatever, that is what alcohol is for. At the end of the service the "manager" insisted I get charged for the gel even if I ddnt ask for it. He said I should have payed attention to the lady's work. How about that.. lady tech confirmed I had asked for no gel. He ignored her. He charged me $90. Seemed desperate. Unbelievably rude of him. I don't live on that side of town. But I definitely will not return. I hope this post helps someone else decide if they will visit or not.
