In 2024, I was a bridesmaid in a wedding here. It wasn't stressful for the bridal party since…read moreeverything was organized. The only thing which was off putting; I saw 2 of the female servers were eating appetizers right off the trays. I didn't say anything because it was not worth the stress but they could have snuck a snack after or behind the scenes. A little more discretion goes a long way. We also really enjoyed the spa suite directly across from the venue. The bride and our small gathering of bridesmaids had massages and facials. The outdoor ceremony can be a bit interesting...without any shade. Think of Florida heat..Other than that its was a good venue.

A friend referred me to Liv for maternity photos and I'm so glad she did. Liv is a master…read morephotographer. She is so talented, sweet and patient. She was very accommodating and so easy to work with. She I decided to have the shoot at the same place I took my wedding engagement My maternity shoot was in a location she never shot before so she made sure to show up early to check out the site. By the time I arrived, she had already found some ideal shooting spots. A huge bonus with Liv is having access to her maternity dresses. There is no need to buy a dress you only plan to use for photos. I received so many compliments on the black maternity dress that I borrowed from her for my shoot. Liv made sure to get some amazing shots and she even waited for the sun to set to get a particular shot I wanted. After my maternity shoot, I knew I wanted to have Liv in my life forever. I promptly booked a newborn shoot. My son came nearly 2 weeks late but Liv was still able to accommodate our newborn/family shoot. I love that she offers in home options for her shoots. Liv arrived to my home right on time. She set up right in my living room and I was able to watch her work some magic. A family emergency prevented my husband from staying to complete the family portion of the shoot. Liv was so accommodating and focused on the newborn photos and allowed us to visit her home studio a few days later to complete the family portion. During the photoshoot, I was amazed to see Liv interact with my son. She has such a calming vibe and she may just be the most patient person I know. She is very good about being on the baby's schedule. My photos came back to me for proofing and the turnaround for final photos was quick. If you want to capture some of these special moments, do yourself a favor and book Liv. She is worth her weight in gold.

She was so good at handling my newborn and got her to sleep pretty much the entire time! She is also super friendly and warm, just overall a great person to work with. She even had refreshments and granola bars ready for me when I got to her studio. Olivia was also very quick to reply to emails and yelp messages. Even the photos were done super fast! We got the digital download emailed to us within a few days! Her pricing was also VERY reasonable and actually MUCH cheaper than most of the newborn photographers in the South Bay. I paid $175 for 10 photos (Valentines Day special) + $10 per additional a la carte photo which I thought was a GREAT deal. Overall, amazing in all aspects! I HIGHLY recommend using her for your newborn photos! :)

Girls night! My mother-in-law and I took the resin charcuterie board class at Seaside Creative Art…read moreStudio and had such a wonderful time! The instructor was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, making sure we were happy with our designs every step of the way. Even if you're new to working with resin, everything is explained clearly and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Because the resin needs time to cure, boards are picked up at least 24 hours later. We haven't picked ours up yet, but we're already excited to see how they turned out based on how great the experience was. They also offer a wide variety of other classes, including acrylic and oil painting, paint pours, and more. We'll definitely be back to try another class--highly recommend for a fun, creative outing!

We met the owner (Jeannie), who was so nice and scheduled a private session for the three of us right after our surfing and before our bioluminescent kayaking. The studio has so much incredible artwork. Jeannie invited us to walk around and pick ideas of what we wanted to do. She prepped the canvases and everything while we surfed. When we returned for our lesson, Jeannie had everything set up for us and taught us how to paint a beach scene with grassy dunes, palm trees, and a dolphin jumping out of the water. All of us were impressed with what we were able to do, and came home with lasting painting techniques. When we were done, I was trying to decide how to get the paintings home since I prefer to carry on our luggage, and Jeannie offered to mail them to us. When they arrived, they came with an extra painting kit she gave us. I am SO SO SO thrilled that we stumbled upon this. Highly recommend!!! Oh, also--Jeannie is a cardiac nurse. She got into this by helping her patients recover by helping them through art. Incredible woman with an incredible story. Memorable experience for sure.
