Quaint smallish place that was full of local regulars. Every new customer shook hands with the people already there. On Tuesday when I was there, a husband and wife country singers were entertaining. Fried chicken pretty good. Fried okra excellent, green beans out of a can, roll was not very good. My husband liked his burger, pretty big piece of meat. Would go back if I am in Bristow again. Nice welcoming atmosphere and nice people.

Holiday you go get the little customer service here is very good I enjoyed having my dinner here with the family

Classic 1/3 lb burger and hand-cut fries.

Yelp nor The Beach House disappointed. Rock on! Friendly, helpful (and cute) staff -with a menu that reads on for days. Everything looked o-mazing. Stopped midway between OKC and Tenkiller looking for a quality dinner. Enjoyed the fresh "beachy" atmosphere. Strange to experience in this sleepy town. Always busy. On late trips to the lake, this will become my personal staple. Love you guys!!!

This is the best of Bristow! Hours sometimes are hard to make, and not open every day, but worth the trip!

The building opened up. It is huge inside. Like a smaller version of the Tulsa Expo building, a complex. On one end of the cavernous room is a stage for the occasional live entertainment. On the other end of the building is a gift shop, large bar and billiards room. In between the stage and the gift shop are acres of dining tables and booths. The inside is one of the nicest decorated, country themed décor restaurants I have ever been in. I bet when this place fills on Friday and Saturday nights, it is hustling and churning like the state fair. Check all of the pictures! The menu is a book, pages and pages. There is a plate of food, appetizer, or beverage that will please anyone and everyone. I had my meal picked before we arrived. One look at the menu and it was a deer in the headlights look on my face. I forgot what I wanted. Let's take a chance. I asked the very nice young lady what she recommended? Without hesitation she recommends the days special. Two versions of pulled pork sandwiches. One just meat, BBQ sauce on Texas toast. My wife got that with fries. The other special, Pulled pork on a bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, slaw and a little queso. I'll have that with fried okra. Both meals were absolute perfection. The pulled pork made blue ribbon winning sandwiches. Mild smoke flavor, tender, juicy and lean. On mine, the slaw was the perfect addition. Exceptionally good food, wonderful friendly service!

The…read morehamburger for the taco was burned and the small piece of yellow cake with brown and pink frosting was a joke. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries. The fries also were overcooked and most were left in the basket. The server did her best to be pleasant. The booth seats were "repaired" with orange duct tape on them. I can appreciate a tasteful amount of uplifting quotes and religious passages in a place of business, but the owners took it to an extreme. Virtually on every wall--even in the bathroom--was another scripture or some religious advice. Too much is just too much.

I can't comment on the hamburger other than the ones I saw on another diner's table. They looked old school fantastic. We had the catfish basket and the Mona's Chicken basket. There were generous portions in each meal and unquestionably freshly made. The baskets come with one side option. Mona's has a lot to choose from. My wife had the okra and an extra side of Mac and Cheese with her basket. I had the house made onion rings. I didn't care for the Mona's Chicken. Instead of strips of chicken breast, it was small bite sized chunks. It was just too much breading. After a few bites I ordered a side of cream gravy for dipping. That improved the meal. The catfish had a nice crust, moist inside, but the flavor was a little off. Okra, mac and cheese, average. Hushpuppies excellent. And then there were the Onion Rings. These were excellent. Large fresh, wide rings of sweet onion lightly battered, then fried to perfection. Crispy crunchy on the outside and crisp fresh onion on the inside. Onion rings are mandatory with any meal here. Probably the perfect meal here is the Burger and the Rings. But there's more. Fried pies filled with fruits that represent most of the colors in a rainbow. I couldn't pass them up for tomorrow's breakfast. Peach, Apple, Cherry and Apricot all went home with us. Great with this morning's cup of coffee. I bet they are even better when served hot and fresh in the diner.

They are known for offering gluten-free food but I am not sure if their whole menu is gluten-free. This was a perfect opportunity to try it out since it was a week day. We arrived for an early dinner so it was not busy at all. It was really quiet inside since it wasn't busy but I can only imagine how fun it is during their busy times. They are not open Saturday and Sunday. It is a small location but easy to find. As we stepped inside we were a little lost as to what to do first, wait for a hostess, find a table and wait to order or walk up to the small counter area to order. My husband asked and we were instructed to order then find a table to sit. I love a good Chicken Fried Steak so I already knew what I was going to order. It came with mashed potatoes and of course, gravy, plus a roll. It would be nice if another veggie was offered to off-set a carb heavy meal. My husband ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes, green beans and roll. He later noticed a very tiny sign next to the register advertising pot roast and was a little disappointed he didn't see that first. Pot roast is his favorite. For dessert, he thought he saw coconut creme pie in the cooler but it was lemon meringue which he is not a fan. He settled on the pecan pie cheesecake that we shared. It was a surprisingly great pie. All of our food was great and exceeded our expectations. We would like to come back again so he can try the pot roast and I will order the CFS again. This restaurant definitely has a small town feel where they know their regulars by name. I would recommend it to friends and family.

What sets it apart and perfectly matches your description is its unique combination of experiences: * Amazing meals in an excellent restaurant: They specialize in a modern twist on Neapolitan and Detroit-style brick oven-fired pizzas, along with creative salads, pastas, appetizers (like fried Brussels sprouts or artichoke spinach dip), and desserts such as gelato, tiramisu, skillet cookies, and macarons. The menu includes gluten-free options, vegetarian dishes, and a full bar with 12 beers on tap, cocktails, and coffee. Reviews consistently rave about the high-quality food, gracious service, and contemporary atmosphere--making it ideal for date nights, family gatherings, or private events. * Capacity to hear great music: The restaurant features live music on Friday and Saturday nights (and weekly events like Tuesday trivia), creating an energetic, entertaining ambiance with local artists performing on stage. * Go to the movies: It's physically connected to the historic Dunkin Theatre (built in 1926), a restored venue next door that screens movies and hosts live events. Many visitors highlight it as the perfect "dinner and a movie" spot--you can even have your food delivered to your seat in the theater for a seamless experience. Overall, it's described as a vibrant, upscale gem in a small town, with strong ratings (around 4.8-4.9 on sites like Google and Restaurant Guru) for its food, service, and multifaceted entertainment. If you're in Oklahoma, it's worth a visit for that all-in-one elevated dining and leisure outing! Check their site at godofredos.com for the latest menu and events.

No signs declare its existence. My wife and I found ourselves there for a meeting with her coworkers, one of whom has been a longtime frequenter of this establishment and recommended it as the site for the group's monthly dinner. She had made the reservation (required, for parties of at least 15) and had also been the one to choose our meal. I'm told the business can accommodate for many different allergies or diets and that they have a wide selection of meats, vegetables/sides, and desserts from which you can take your pick. The dining hall is in a nondescript white building across from the main house. It is far from fancy in keeping with the lifestyle of its proprietors. As in tin-metal walls, concrete floor, and gas-powered lights/heat. Metal folding chairs flank two long rows of folding tables covered in plastic tablecloths; our party of 12 sat in one row with a few seats to spare. The atmosphere is that of having a Sunday supper after church with kinfolk at grandma's. The (rather adorable) children of the (hardworking) women preparing and serving our food played along the borders of the room and ran through the doors, the air ringing with their laughter. Drinks (water or unsweetened tea only) were served as we arrived. Once everyone was present the food came out family-style - one large platter or bowl at a time, passed from one person to another. And now what you've all been waiting for: the food! The coleslaw wasn't very good; then again, I'm not a coleslaw fan and so might not be a good judge of it. The green beans could've come from a can for all the good they tasted. And the roast was dry, tasteless. That's where the negatives end. The baked chicken was tender/moist/juicy, all those words that make some people uncomfortable when talking period, let alone about food. The mashed potatoes were creamy, the white gravy perfectly rich, the country noodles expertly flavored, and the turkey dressing pure cheesy goodness. I can't forget the rolls, too, which when paired with homemade apple butter were the best I've ever had. After a brief rest to digest, we were served one kind of coffee and two kinds of pie - cherry and coconut cream. The cherry pie filling reminded me of a Pop-Tart but more intense, which wasn't a bad thing at all. Typically I don't like even the word coconut unless it's followed by "rum and pineapple juice", but that particular pie was delicious. It may have made me a convert. I haven't mentioned the service, but it was fantastic. Glasses never more than half-empty before being refilled. Constant questions of whether we needed anything else. Smiling faces and good conversation. We ate until we were stuffed and several people took home heaping to-go boxes, yet there was still a ton left of each food item. On the way out I picked up a loaf of banana but bread from the bakery side. The damage to my wallet for all of this? $27.59! Yep. All-you-can-eat comfort food for two in a place that feels like home for under $30. I'm definitely going back. Just as soon as I can round up 10-12 likeminded foodies so I can make a reservation.
