I have been going to Beach Heights Dentistry for over 25 years. Sandi, my Dental Hygenist, does a wonderful, very thorough job in cleaning my teeth. Because of her great care, I do not need to see Dr. Wen very often! Plus, she plays my kind of music. Dr. Wen is a true professional and has a great talent with getting the work completed quickly and mostly pain free. Really!! He is also a fine painter and I always enjoy looking at his current works on display. Everyone in the office is very friendly and very professional. They bill my Insurance and I have never had an issue. Beach Heights is the only Dental Office that I trust. read more

Dr. Yen is very professional and calming dentist... has all the latest top of the line equipment, and he has advanced dental education:training under his belt. My latest experience is really good I had a crown put on and the 1st visit was preparing the tooth, 2nd visit permanent crown and NO PAIN! I got my teeth cleaned yesterday. I've been with this practice since the 1990s. I could go anywhere for dentistry. I probably pass 30 dental practices on the drive from my home to Beach Dentistry. I choose to go here. Getting my teeth cleaned is not my favorite thing to do, I'm sensitive to high pitch sound, but Sandi makes it as pleasant a process as possible. His office is impressive, adorned with amazing art that Dr. Yen painted. The front office workers are professional, very helpful and friendly. Dr. Yen has a highly trained group of assistants. I discovered Dr. Yen about five years ago while searching for a solution to a poorly fitting removable full upper denture that was attached to dental implants done by another dentist. The denture was loose, making chewing food very difficult. Fortunately, the implants themselves were done correctly by a different doctor whom Dr. Yen knew and recommends to patients. Dr. Yen's professionalism impressed me from the start. He carefully studied my case and clearly explained each step and what to expect from the final outcome. Although my case was complex and the process was sometimes frustrating, I was very satisfied with my new denture in the end. It has been about four years now, and it still performs excellently in terms of speech, chewing, and appearance. I highly recommend Dr. Yen to anyone seeking quality dental care. Dr. Yen's practice has been the best dental experience I've ever had, by a wide margin. My initial appointment, he took care and time to understand my current status and why I was there. He had some great ideas and then in came Sandy. She quite literally saved my gums, doing a skillful and intense deep clean that solved perpetual issues other dental practice could not. I had a partial crown done on July 2, 2024 at Beach Heights Dentistry. I have been going to this office for years and years because they are the best for all my dental needs. Dr. Yen is totally focused on getting the absolute best outcome for whatever procedure he is doing. I have had him do a number of procedures and they have all turned out perfect. He is a perfectionist and that is what I want in a dentist! His assistant, Alejandra, is so calm, efficient, and kind, all while she was also training a new employee. She is amazing. To top it off, Dr. Yen called me at 6pm to make sure that my mouth felt good and that everything was ok. I will be with Beach Heights Dentistry as long as Dr. Yen is the dentist there. Highly recommend both Gina and Sandi as dental hygienists! Been coming to this office for 35 years, first with Dr. Fasnacht and now with Dr. Yen. I think Sandi has been there the entire time, which says something about the office. It is a very efficient operation, it is rare to wait for more than 5 minutes if you have an appointment. They also keep up with all the latest technology. The office is also very clean (restroom included) and are following all the latest covid precautions if you are concerned about that. I came during covid lock down and was not at all concerned about my health. In addition, it is nice to see all of Dr. Yen's original paintings instead of the usual boring wall art. I had been a loyal patient of Dr. Faschnact for years. When I found out that he had retired and sold his business to Dr. Yen, I was concerned that the quality of care that I had come to rely on would be compromised. That wasn't the case. I returned to the great staff and comprehensive care that I had come to expect. In fact, upon my first return, I had to pay out of pocket a very hefty bill because my Delta Dental would not cover the visit. After that visit, I had to change dentists to be "in network" and went to a clinic. It just wasn't the same. I was soooo pleased to learn that my Dental PPO with Anthem covers for a portion of my visit. It would be a lot cost-saving to go "in the network", but I'm not about to take a risk and deal with another unknown. You just can't beat quality care and though my out-of-pocket is going to be hefty, I am willing to pay the price. Yes, that's HOW GOOD THEY REALLY ARE at Beach Heights Dentistry. read more
