Grella took over the my prior dentistry, Dr. McKibben. Shortly thereafter, my dental hygienist of about 15 years left and not long after that, most of the old staff. The experience just wasn't the same. I stuck around Initially because they were in network with my insurance, but then dropped without notice. This resulted in a hefty cleaning and X-ray bill. I'm one of those people who make the mistake of not seeing a Dentist regularly. It was a broken tooth that finally put me in the chair. On the recommendation of a family member I chose Dr Grella (Will). The office staff was alerted to my deep fear and from the moment I arrived did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. Shortly after I arrived Will came out personally and brought me to the exam room. Thus I didn't have to sit in the waiting room to dwell on my fears. He immediately made me feel at ease. Upon examination he told me it was a clean break and a simple fill. He made me feel quite at ease. I was moved to a procedure room where George took over. Since I hadn't been to a Dentist in over 15 years he did a full set of X-rays. I was feeling more and more comfortable Will and George worked together to prepare my tooth for the filling. They were amazing. I got through the numbing and drilling with very little discomfort. Once the 3D filling was in place George was incredibly meticulous to ensure the fit was perfect and my bite was exactly as it was before. I cannot stress enough about how thorough he was, accepting nothing short of perfection. The professionalism and care I received from Will, George, and the entire staff is the standard all medical offices should strive for. I'm really happy with Dr Grella as my dentist. I've been to him three times: twice for regularly scheduled dental cleanings and most recently to check out a toothache. If I had to describe the office in one word, it would be "efficient." Each time, setting up an appointment was seamless. They are very responsive to their emails/phone calls and I've never had an issue getting a time that works with me. Even when I had a toothache and wanted to be seen within a couple of days! The dental hygienist I see is Natalie. She is always very professional and courteous. I have very sensitive teeth and is always checking in on me during my cleanings. Within two hours, she called me back as soon as an open appointment slot became available. I was very grateful they got me in the same day! I was taken care of by Vision who was a great hygienist. I've been with Dr. Grella for a few years now. This was my first dental plan since turning 26 after having to get dental insurance on my own. There was once a time where I lost coverage so I paid out of pocket because I liked their office so much. Once I was recovered, I ended up paying even more to ensure I had a PPO that they would accept. I want to note that I did this without issue because I really enjoyed coming to this office. Dr. Grella and the hygienists are so sweet, and have always treated me well. My complaint is more toward the front office staff (particularly the older woman who answers the phones). Apparently my insurance was dropped and I wasn't notified, so they sent me a pretty large bill for a cleaning and tried to gaslight me about receiving a notice in the mail. When I asked if there was anything they could do about the bill because I am a full time student and this bill was very unexpected... the woman's literal response was "what do you want me to do? Tell Dr. Grella to pay for it?" I was literally dumbstruck at her sarcastic response and lack of empathy. Needless to say, I paid my bill in full on a credit card and cancelled my future appointments. I don't want to give 1 star because, like I said, Dr. Grella and the rest of the dental team are so nice. He really is a great dentist. I'm just not a fan of poor customer service. read more

We scheduled to have my wife's teeth cleaned after she finished treatment from her Oncologist. We cleared the dental visit with the Oncologist first, then scheduled the dental appointment. When we finally got to see the hygienist they refused to clean her teeth until they were able to contact our Oncologist to make sure we were telling the truth. We had to schedule with another dentist to perform the overdue cleaning just to maintain our health. Dr. Grella could have advised us in advance if he required more than our assurance that we cleared the work with our Oncologist prior to wasting our time. TL;DR - Great dentist for those nervous about dentists. Everyone in the office was pleasant and calming. One of my friends has been coming to this dentist with her family for a while. She had nothing but good words to say in the group chat and slowly but surely all of us have started seeing Dr Grella. I may have been the last to join because I really, really, really do not like the dentist. I get anxious leading up to my appointment and because of this -- I have really neglected my oral health. It's a vicious cycle, because very few years I realize I *need* to see a dentist, and every time I am left with a bad experience and avoid it again for far too long. When I called to make my appt, the person who answered the phone was so warm and calming -- and nonjudgemental when I told them I was "overdue" for my exam/cleaning. I already felt at ease. They happened to have an appt that worked for me the same week (called on a Monday, appt on that Friday) so I went ahead and agreed before I could think too much about it. The new patient paperwork was really easy and all completed online - I really liked this streamlined process. On Friday I arrived, a ball of nerves, and the person working the front desk was again super charming and welcoming. I went for my x-rays and then to see the hygienist. The dental hygienist was SUPER thorough with my cleaning. They told me things about my teeth I had wondered about but never knew the cause of! It was a really refreshing experience -- it hurt, because it has been so long, but nothing unbearable. After my exam, the doctor came in and reviewed my x-rays with me. I told him that I knew I have cavities from prior exams that I never fixed. He asked how many and I told him 3. He took a look at my teeth and confirmed 3 obvious surface level cavities & two possibles he put on watch. I've had this same conversation with a couple dentists - this was the first time it was delivered in a way that didn't make me feel as though I was the worst person ever for not taking care of my teeth. It was very gently & matter of fact. He told me to schedule 1-2 appts, depending on how I felt about getting all done at once, and prescribed me a high flouride toothpaste. At the front desk, I went to schedule my fillings & 6 month follow-up ... they happened to have availability the next morning (Saturday)! I snagged it, knowing I wanted to get it over with. When I arrived back Saturday morning the Dentist greeted me "You're back!!" He asked if I wanted to tackle 2 or all 3 cavities -- I told him "I'd like to get all 3 because I really don't like this" -- He laughed and made a joke and we got to work. Throughout the fillings he was communicative and patient -- and the hygienist working alongside him was extremely calming. She had to remind me to breathe a few time and I was super grateful for the reminder. The numbing the doctor placed before giving me the anesthetic shots made me feel nothing at all. For getting a heavy cleaning and three cavities in 24 hours; this was far and away one of the best dentist experiences I've had in my adult life. I'm very happy my friends recommended him & I definitely recommend if you are someone who is nervous about going. I'll be bringing my two kids in soon as well. read more

Dr. Grella and his staff are amazing. I broke a tooth over a holiday weekend, the doctor was immediately available by phone to speak with me by cellphone. As I wasn't in pain, he worked me in on the next business day. Not only did he and his able assistant Karina repair my tooth, but also Dr. Grella has the machine that manufactures crowns (composite, porcelain or metal) right in his office. As the repair was urgent, they manufactured and installed a metallic crown, perfectly matched to my tooth color while I waited, rather than me having to wear a temp and wait for several weeks. Attached is a picture of the device that makes the crown. In my experience Dr. Grella has always been ahead of the curve when it come to new innovations, I highly recommend him and his staff. read more

I've had trouble scheduling appointments in the past at other dental offices, where I have to schedule several months in advance (even pre-COVID) and if I wanted to reschedule, it would be another 1-2 months out. This didn't work for me because I need dental cleanings every 4 months, otherwise I develop gingivitis like clockwork. This is not a problem here! His office is well run, his staff is great and his "chair side" manner very professional yet personable. He explained to me what had happened and why and what he would be doing to fix it.
